Based on my personal experience. The uni is like an advance 9ja sc Sch. I applied there but latter withdrew my application. You will be required to submit your statement of account and pay 50% of tuition before you get CAS. And thereafter pay the remaining 50% at enrolment. Generating CAS for them is like waiting till eternity. Best of luck with them sha.

This is what made them an advanced Nigerian secondary school?

What's the advantage of a Postgraduate course been accredited by a professional body?

It grants you exemptions from some professional exams thereby enabling you to achieve certain professional qualifications quicker because you don't have to write as many exams.

From what I was told, a professional body accreditation is only a plus but does not hinder me from being employed. I had issues with the University of Derby on her msc IT which is not accredited by BCS. It is often believed that what is important is for the uni to get accreditation from the university regulatory body.

Thanks so much.

My course at USW wasn't accredited but just got accredited when I check the course page yesterday.

Anyone wanting to go to Uni of Bedfordshire might as well consider the likes of Rema University or Elizade University etc. They were at the lowest position on the list of rankings for years. Expensive for nothing as compared to other valuable universities. U.K. employers don’t even value certificates from there, based on graduate reviews.
International support service is zero.

Gurus in the house, I appreciate all you’ll are doing here. God bless you guys. please I need to make a decision between Leeds Beckett University -Jan 2021(Health and safety which is accredited by iosh) and Teesside- Sept 2020 (health and social care but NOT accredited by HCPC bearing in mind that to be a social worker, one needs to be certified ). In terms of school, which city is relatively cheap to settle in, life after school, job availability etc as the goal is to remain in the U.K. after studies. Thanks
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Skymoore1004: 3:51pm On Jun 27, 2020
Every university has their policy and timeline to issue CAS. At least by next month, they will start.
There’s no rush yet, just keep checking for updates with your university

No one knows whether you will get job or not. It all depends on you but you are guaranteed 2 years PSW so far you pass your MSc.

Social work is not child's play and you have to be accredited. You already know the answer that Teeside is a no go option.

You have higher chance of staying in the UK as a social worker as it is in demand and in tier 2 sponsored shortage list. However, you must be accredited by HCPC to practise.

Google schools that are accredited by HCPC. Also, apply for MSc Social work and not health and social care

I guess most of us are awaiting CAS. I think the Unis. are delaying it because our borders are not yet open. Because international students who are in UK have gotten CAS but Int students outside the UK are yet to get.

Hello guys,
I am torn between offshore engineering in the University of Aberdeen and Offshore Floating Systems in the University of Strathclyde.
I really need your review of the two courses, cities, universities, job prospects and accommodation. Thanks so much in advance

Did my tuberculosis test on the 27th of February and was just about to have CAS issued when COVID-19 shut everything down.

My TB test result expires on the 27th of August and I’m considering booking a new appointment for a repeat test as I may not be able to submit my visa application before the current one expires. No one knows for certain when the visa application centre will reopen for new applications.

N54 000 and almost a whole day down the drain.

Fingers crossed, you should be able to put in your application before it expires. TLS should be receiving new applications from mid July hopefully.

I am assuming when guidance is release they would be some allowance due to the covid situation. You might want to wait until the UK announces what the plan is

Yes. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and checking for updates as well. I really hope that I can submit my application before the test result expires. I already have passport renewal to deal with. I can’t apply if passport validity is less than 6 months from my course start date

(As seen on The Pie News), universities around the world are planning on chartering planes for international students (read Chinese and Indian students) to bring them onto campuses, as part of a bid to tackle travel disruption caused by Covid-19.

Interesting times we’re in
