No. I never had this issue.

When I started, i refused to read the whole thread, didn't attend any class. I only read the first 50-80 pages and I thought I knew it all. I only know what a domain is, how to register and list. I registered 3 crappy non Geo domain names that speaks volume on my knowledge about domain. I kept on seeing sales report I thought it was magic or you guys have a secret that I didn't know and no one would tell me. I got frustrated within just a month and I left Domain business.

I happen to be where a class was carried out about domain business, I was intrigued by the amount of knowledge the tutor had. I was waiting to hear that he is 5 years+ into Domain business but only to find out that he is just some months old and he learnt all through his independent research, this thread, namepros and he develop strategy that work for him.

That was when reality downed on me. If I would want to excel in the business I have to just read and accumulate ideas, knowledge just like he did. I became glued to my phone reading this from page 1 of this thread and anything that would be of help to me on namepros. I read for 1 month + with my jotter beside me. I reached a moment where I knew that there is a big difference between my then and now.

That was when I began to register names. Though financial constraints and some factors disallowed me to register or even outbound.

But still I managed to register 24 names between November-january.

Got time in march and I began to outbound them.

I had 4 sales from the portfolio of 24 names in march.
Oklahoma/truck/repair $250
California/insurance/lawyer $100
New York/medical/supplies $200
Corona/doctor $250

Got another opportunity June
Decided to re-outbound my remaining names which got me this 3 sales.
Arizona/tile/store $200
Brooklyn/interior/decorator $300
Oklahoma/nursing/home $200

However I've added 24 names to my portfolio this month but didn't made a single sale from them.

My current portfolio is 46 Geo domains, 24 which are still just 1 month old. 4 brandable and 6 EMD.

I'll continue to read, learn and avoid my previous mistakes and also learn from others experience.

This are the tips I have for newbies like me.

1. Try to read the whole thread. There are vital info, advice and tips scattered throughout the thread. I don't think you can find information about Geo domain elsewhere more than you can get here.

2. Always use Google to find answers. Eg how to change namesaver in Epik. How to get Auth code in GoDaddy and so on. Just type the question in your search bar.

3.To equip yourself about some info, just go to your search engine. Then write "sales latter format namepros" links to namepros thread about sales latters would crawl out. Read through them and pick what you would go with. Do this for keywords, email subject format, whether to use custom email, domain tools, how to check trademark, domain statistic. How to get endusers etc. I like namepros because you'll find plenty threads dedicated to certain topics with inputs from many veterans.

Also Whois is showing dynadot as the registrant of the domain despite removing the privacy. Please help...

I see someone mentioned opening a Whatsapp group. Well to be frank as good as it may sound that is not a very good idea for the benefit of ALL.

Truth be told, if there was a Whatsapp group before you became a domainer maybe you wouldn't have been able to learn all that you learnt and benefitted from this thread, because more attention and energy would have been channeled on that whatsapp group instead of here.

Alot of our old veterans/bosses have earned the bragging right to go open a thread or page of their own but guess what they choosed to remain here and contribute from time to time because they understands the virtue in TOGETHERNESS. Even myself, i can remember someone suggesting here to me last year to open a brandable thread lol i laughed, because as good as that idea sounds, it brings division and my kind of person is not motivated with such opinions. "I'll rather opt we remain in one place than different places".

Remember the purpose of this thread is first to Help ALL Nigerian youths who are looking for make legitimate income online via Domaining, second to keep us United as one body and follow trends together in one pace, thirdly to learn, relearn and continuously learn from one another and finally to keep the fire of this thread burning so newcomers can be encouraged that the thread is alive and lively and make it a continuous trend. (Respect at Oga Iykepromotions for doing that for the benefit of everyone)

Now if we all go and start creating whatsapp groups, how will newcomers who stumble on this thread figure out what's going on and keep motivated that the biz is worth it and keep going, because i believe by opening a Whatsapp group most of our energy and time will be channeled toward keeping the group alive than here.

Futhermore, how can we learn from each other on a day to day basis, as like the person mentioned most of the things shared there is not here. (It's a pity to hear that sef)
Again how can we keep this house one and together in unity. Because division will always brings weakness and separate entities (Causing confusion) that will mean if i for example needs an information I'll have to look for it in different places(something that could have been easily found in one place) splitted information means alot of people will not benefit from it and that is not healthy for us going forward.
Finally, i don't encourage or support the idea of having a Whatsapp group outside of this thread as there are alot of CONS to it than PROS, maybe not now but later. So I'll urge all those involved in such already to think it through and try more to contribute more here. You might now know who you're helping or impacting.

Someone mentioned we have to find a way to bring the bosses back, lol well no bosses have gone anywhere and between we're all bosses here, No knowledge is greater than the other(it only takes time to develop yours). So if you feel some bosses are missing, new Bosses will Rise . But one thing i want to encourage everyone here who have benefitted in this thread past and present or who Will still benefit from this thread in future is "Let's stick together, cos in our unity lies our biggest strengths" and always remember to give back to the hand that fed you in due time.

I appreciate the efforts of those that have contributed to this thread and are still contributing and all the Oga's who have in one way or the other be a source of motivation to many here. Your reward will come in due season.

Hi, in as much as I would want to add u, i don't have the POWER there (I'm no admin, and have no say on whom to be added). As u must have noticed me I'm more of a spectacular, So even there i largely spectate.

Take this as a HONEST saying from me,; nothing special about the group that isn't in that thread (except for the regular sales report that isn't mentioned here). I'm personally not a fan of groups but when i was requested to give my number to be added, i humbly gave it so I wouldn't appear arrogant or something.

Let's adjust to the new normal. There are alot of things we can be posting here...

Example ....post your accepted SH names
.....sales report
.....your hand reg names
.....your daily snap names...etc.

This is a good idea, and i believe this is not the first time something like this has been suggested here. But sadly, we choose to channel more energy to arguments than insightful discussions.
However, if some of us can dedicate and start, i believe we will all follow with time.

So this is my small suggestion ( it's only a suggestion, we can choose to adapt or ignore it).

* We will quote this massive1019 post with 3 headings (4 different post)
* Namely;1. Published BB, SH names
2. Reg of the day
3. General discussion

So anybody that wish to contribute to any if the headings can quote it and post, then the next person can delete MOST of the previous person's quote and post his comment. Although this will not continue as a single quote, once in a while the quote will be broken, but we can always continue from where we stopped.

I understand most of us here will not be comfortable sharing our names, portfolio, snaps or even sales report. It's understandable, as we Nigerians always find one way or the other to PLAY ourselves. Ranging from monitoring, fake offer and even trying to spoil show for our brother.

FinArmor is a great name. Fin is a strong keyword and Armor is fairly a good keyword too. And i feel the combo makes sense and strikes a balance.

First financial institutions are springing up daily, and coupled with the fact that we're heading to the era of financial digitization(digital currencies). I feel a major concern of some of these financial set ups is how to keep their customers and public funds safe and secure. So with a name like FinArmor i feel it goes well in that direction as Armor means Armour, shield, security, and vault sought of meaning. So in summary name means a Financial Security system. And might find a home to a Fintech security firm or Digital security setup. I Wish you well on this one bro. Goodluck.

I just Googled it. Malpractice is better suited than medical.

I think lawyers is also better than lawyer. The plural I feel wins here. Ask iklayah as he's into attorney/lawyer names.
