I just did and collected my TB certificate in Abuja.
I now have my passport ready, paid my deposit, have an unconditional offer, have my TB certificate and a funded account for my trip. Awaiting my CAS and VISA. God please perfect what you've started for me and all my friends.

That’s good. . .

Boris Johnson is waiting for you grin

Please could someone clarify for me the amount for visa fee for students and dependents?
From the website, it first says 348 pounds but on going to dependents, it says 475..so which is it?

Secondly, for those with children of dual nationality, which passport is presented for the dependent visa, the Nigerian one or the second passport? Thanks.

Check this link for the visa fees of the main applicants and their dependents

https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa

Your second question, I will use their Nigeria Passport since no special privilege will be given to them with their other passports, they can only get one if they are visiting so it depends on the one you want to use.

Ehen! Thank you hosey. I was just going to point out to OP that Social care and Social work isn't the same.

msphlorah:
Gurus in the house, I appreciate all you’ll are doing here. God bless you guys. please I need to make a decision between Leeds Beckett University -Jan 2021(Health and safety which is accredited by iosh) and Teesside- Sept 2020 (health and social care but NOT accredited by HCPC bearing in mind that to be a social worker, one needs to be certified ). In terms of school, which city is relatively cheap to settle in, life after school, job availability etc as the goal is to remain in the U.K. after studies. Thanks

The problem is with my first degree (Environmental Management) and Work experience also in the same field, most schools are not giving me admission in social work as I’m not qualified.

No.

As long as your first name is on there and your surname is the same, there is nothing to worry about.

Hello house,
Kindly assist. All my degree certificates states 3 of my names, but my passport carries 4 names. E.g Amina Okoro Adeshina, but passport Carries Amina Okoro Taiwo Adeshina. Would I be required to get an affidavit?

That's good to hear. Are you going for PGCE too and which school?

No. Mine is MA. Social work. You know it also involves being with vulnerables, children inclusive. Therefore the need to obtain such document as a character certificate.

School is Liverpool Hope

Do you volunteer to care for the less priviledged in your church/musque/community? Do you volunteer in the children department of your religious belief? Do you volunteer to care for the elderly in your neighbourhood or community? Do you mentor children around you ( be it young, teenagers or youths)? Do you have any form of volunteering experience at all? If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, then you need to restructure your Personal Statement and CV to get pass the first application stage... I am sure you would get positive feedbacks..

hope this helps..

Alternatively, take bus going to Oshodi, drop at PWD, cross to the other side of the road, walk pass the railroad and take Keke to the place.

Dear house, please what is your opinion about University of Suffolk? Someone in the UK wants to sponsor me for my MSc. but wants me to find out how we could go about it. I and the person are not related. If it won't be possible, please what other options do I have? I do not want his willingness to sponsor me to go to waste. Thanks

Does that mean that January intakes take more than one year before graduation?

Because from the calculation it's a year and seven months.
