For Uber/Bolt registered drivers who need cars to work, eOutsource has sound cars to give out for this purpose. If you would need one to earn some income for yourself, call or preferably send a WhatsApp message to 08036832808

Hello comrades....my experience on Monday this week was sad and disheartening, infact I went home for the day on just 2 trips.
I got my 2nd request for the day from Bera Estate @ Chevron destination Navy town, with so much excitement with the hope of suggesting for an offline trip.i got to the pick up point a guy came out holding nylon bag and he hopped at the back sit and he said oya let's go....I told him where sir? He said Navy town shocked shocked and I told him if we can do offline but instead he declined then my mood changes and in my mind no wahala...
Long and short we got to mile 2 with heavy traffic and flood...I was so scared that the car will drink water..we will be in the flood for good 30 minutes with no movement and this guy sat at the back with his two legs on the sit ...making silly calls.
Anyway, he got himself introduced as captain and showed me a picture of his posture with a gun that he served in the North.
Suddenly, he said this traffic is too much oooo..that he would like to come down and continue with bike that he is already running late, so he demanded that i ended the trip which showed us 3,600.
He demanded for my account number which I gave him....the next thing he said that his boy at home will do it that I should not worry, he sent the details to the so called boy...and after like 10 minutes he called the so called boy and he said the network is bad that he would continue trying.
Meanwhile, this captain said he will give me his number so that I can call him for a follow-up.
Low and below I allowed him to go and I was on that mile 2 for 3hrs and more. Then it occurred to me that I have not seen the alert and I even checked my account online nothing.... immediately I called him he said let me call the boy....after 20 minutes I called again....he said I will call you back that he wants to change his cloth..... shocked cool cool cool and I kept calling this line.....no response and the next thing was to block my line......then I now realize it is now done on me...I qickly call my friends to call the line...he pick and after hearing them he will block them ...till this moment nothing has been heard from him and I cannot access him anymore...my 3,600 gone.....Bolt have taken thier commission....
He claimed to be in Navy which I believe....below are his details
Name: Emmanuel Chibuike
Phone number: 08133901891
I am attaching details from Bolt
Please I need this our forum to call him to order and pay the services rendered.

We just spoke man to man respectfully, and I begged him to deal. He promised to treat before end of the day. He explained the ride was booked for him, and the person who sent him was to pay, and they are presently having disagreements. Nevertheless he promised to sort you today. Exercise a little patience. Then. Thanks

If he truly want to pay, why block the driver. I called him he hang up when I mention bolt trip, redialed 3 times keeps rejecting the call

There are stories one would read here, and you cannot help but shake your head in disappointment.

Like Dude,

You can't even buy an item in a random Mallam's shop, and tell him you will send someone to bring his money. He will not let you go even if it's Five Naira.

You guys suffer so much to make ends meet. Don't let anybody steal your sweat because you want to be nice, have 5 star, blah blah blah. Habaa

The issue of Transfer scams have been flogged here many times: Don't accept transfers. But no, for every two pages, we still read about how someone played a fast one with transfers.

It's painful reading stories like this.

If a rider says he's paying through transfer, tell the rider: Sir/Ma, I do not have a bank account. Please give me cash, which is the mode of payment you chose

Even the thief will have no choice than to think of paying you because the scam don burst.

Don't accept transfers
Don't lend money to riders

Don't accept transfers
Don't lend money to riders

Someone will come tomorrow with another story how a rider fail to transfer to him.

The issue will definitely reoccur cos newbies that are unaware of this scam will fall victim.

Compensate Bawo you win some you lose some if you try that nonsense with me I’ll report you, Kilode what nonsense, nobody should harass anybody they paid for their journey, take it as a lesson tomorrow is another day
But you where part of those that crusified me for dropping of a rider half way the other day but now you're in support of a rider that absconded leaving the driver in traffic.

What a world you leave in.

People have choices and should be allowed to make their choices by freewill and without been questioned.

Both riders and drivers have absolute autonomy to end a ride at anytime if they don't feel okay or comfortable and also demanding for the fare to distance covered.

The driver in question doesn't have any right to ask for compensation if a rider ask to end a ride halfway, reason the use of Gmap is recommended and it gives alternative route, same time a driver has every right to end trip. I must not take to your destination. I did it last week self, dropped a guy at fagba junction after spending over 1hr 30min from ogba while dude was going to ishaga area. Even in the rain, though, just stopped raining yet I still had to so an early drop off because I couldn't bear driving home through the heavy traffic, bad and flooded roads all for a price different of say N500.

But if that rider had preferred and asked the driver to use that route that brought them to the traffic then driver has a voice to query and better still report such rider to her mother body or go in headlock with such a wicked person.

Anything out of that? Both driver and rider has right to end ride at anytime.

Drivers should start guarding their pockets well. Uber is even no longer responsible for dubious riders anymore.

To stop this case of fake alert or whatever is simple.

Simply go to your bank and request they only send you alert via email and not phone number since we usually have data most of the time and it's impossible to send a fake alert to your email.

Sorry for d bad experience bro, is part of learning the ropes of the business. Next time offer to take your rider to the nearest ATM if he intends to pay by transfer, if he insist he doesn’t have atm card to withdraw cash to pay u. Your discretion comes into play. It’s either you take the risk or reject the trip. The only approved payment on BOLT is either Card or Cash any other mode of payment is inconsequential.

Now that you have been to Navy town, Am very sure that area has enter your forbidden list grin
You just learnt a good lesson that will help you remain profitable in the business in future.

Transfer have come to stay, I've exhausted all my energy fighting it and I'm already at the edge when it comes to transfer. Better part of the riders don't even tell until one gets to destination... Then u will hear give me ur account as if its the norm, even if u object, b prepare to hear how u r odd and d first driver to decline such and how he/she has been doing to & fro using transfer to pay. Do we have to look at the side of a driver that have been waiting for trip all day and see a 5k trip with transfer as option? He won't even think twice, b4 accepting such offer. A lady just did transfer to me mins ago and I didn't even check cos I'm so tired to trade words with anyone now, but most time my method is simply

Rider: Oga! Ur account
Me: hmmm! Straight face, sorry I don't take transfer
Rider: Ha! I don't have cash oo
Me: You didn't tell me and my reason for objecting to
such is blah blah fake alert, dis dat
Rider: Don't worry, u will see dis one
Me: its all up to u, if u can wait for me to get the
alert, then I can drop my account

Then I can let him/her go after transfer base on impression. Inbtw, this is Lagos, one will still fall prey, especially on a good happy day where the money does not really count.

Why feel bad my man? Does a professor beat himself or feel like he didn't carryout his job well because 2 out of 10 of his students failed his exam?

Does a father feel bad for having a Judas among his 12 sons?

Should a mother cut off her breast that the child has polio or jaundice even after breast feeding for 2yrs?

Till today and till tomorrow I still accept transfers but since my last experience in last yr I haven't fall prey again, someone would want to say I never meet a chronic thief. Why would anyone make you feel intimidated or less a human or inferior for who they're and what they do? How

For you or anyone to feel intimidated or threatened means you are having issue with your self esteem and you see yourself as worthless and just an ordinary driver.

This is one of the major reasons the advice of good dressing and good looking is advised. So who so ever enters your ride should be able to access you and know if they can play a fast one on you or not.

As for me, evennif you're 2baba or Mr president I'll only accord you the respect you accord me meeting me otherwise I give you the way you want it, simple.

In btw, some women's beauty and approach can make someone break his rules ooh... Chai! I'm currently on a trip with one beautiful and respectful woman. I remember l booked a trip to Namdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja, l think N3500, the driver started complaining abt the trip and even had the effrontery to ask me to pay a bit extra. I told him straight, you win some and lose some, you can’t expect to win all the time, then at the end of the trip I gave him a one star, if l was in London l would have reported him for fraud to get him blocked.
l do the job in the U.K. and you dare not make such a ridiculous demand, you will be be reported and blocked straight away, I’ve taken passengers on ridiculous journeys my self in the U.K., and made a big loss on my way back, it’s what it is. We can’t win all the time, at the back of my mind l always have it that there is always tomorrow.’ and by the way l rent the car l use cos l only work in London for 2months every 3months.
The drivers request is ridiculous, despicable and his dispire is absolutely silly.
Someone asked this question and you didn't respond. Is it okay if a driver decides to drop a rider on third mainland bridge at midnight because he doesn't feel like going on with the journey? Since you find it okay for a rider to abandon a trip he booked knowing how his area is and left the driver to suffer a massive loss. Some riders know there would be serious traffic and they will book a ride with the intention of cutting the cost of picking a bike from where they are.
