Fellow Nigerians.. Things are getting messier and more serious.. I tried renewing my passport now but to my greatest surprise this is the message I saw about Nigerian applicants using Credit Card for payment. What is really going on?.. do they take every Nigerian to be a fraudster or what?.. I am not understanding!.. pls who can give a clearer explanation for the reason behind this instruction?? For better understanding read the part with the blue highlight..

We need to save this country make una come to the rescue of Nigeria.. we are finished internationally cry
this notice has been there for some years. I have seen it there long ago through their sister payment website, INNOVATE. So nothing is new my friend.

Blame it on your elected officials not innocent yahoo boys hustling for a better future that the corrupt government could not provide.
If not for yahoo, imagine the rate of Armed robbery and kidnapping that would be going on now
Yahoo has helped a lot of people.
If your country was good, you would not be bothered about any abroad image whatsoever.
I repeat, blame it on your elected officials.
Tell them to develop the country to international standard.
Government should first create environment that encourages youth development and advancement.
If not, yahoo has come to stay.

You must be from IPOB land where crime is the first solution to actual problems, and also to greed and selfishness.

But lets be very honest here, the instruction is about credit card and we hardly use credit card in Nigeria, most times is debit card. the message is very clear so whats the whole nonsense about.p

Yes.

Though nothing to wonder.

Every body cannot be in the city.

City is meant for the big boys.

So leave me out of your story.

There's no issue, same way some online merchants reject verve cards etc.
They simply don't want you to use a credit card of the type you have for reasons known to them, maybe if there's an issue they won't be able to rectify it cos it's out of their control.
Moreover it's a Nigerian website so it's not any bias as regards your country of origin.

All these useless frudsters. The most painful thing is how they don't feel remorse. You 're gonna dupe innocent people and still go on Instagram, Twitter bla bla to flaunt and victimize hardworking youth with their flashy bling bling sh*t. I still wonder how they sleep at night cus I believe firmly that there is no peace for the wicked. The f*ck about Nigeria youth especially girls is how they asslick these people cus of giveaway. They so much adore guys or girls with bling bling and nice camera and don't fuckin' care how these fraudsters get their money.
Then, I have been seeing comment of people justifying hush whatever atrocities, you know what I tell you thumbs up until they will scam ur parents abroad (that is, if u have one there I doubt) or your relatives and he /she dies of stroke (truth is better when it hit you than when u heared it). One thing I believe is everybody knows what is right but we always look for excuse to justify our shit cus of human ego but deep in ur heart you know what is right or wrong. If you can justify fraud then, wtf we're talking about? You want to ruin young people's future, we can't be thinking how to scale through scholarship hurdles and you lazy and ss3 Yahoo boys and foolish self acclaimed graduates and others that constitute their ideology be making it more difficult. Say No to Fraud! #Dont glorify fraud.

Na wa o. This problem won’t go away any time soon because the people who can change this narrative are not affected or bothered by things like this. They have amassed so much wealth and power that they can wade through all this without feeling a thing.

I posted something about fraud on my WhatsApp status sometime ago and yahooguys on my contact list were telling me that politicians are the cause of fraud lol. That Interpol and the rest should arrest politicians and leave yahooboys alone,I was like you’re right about government not trying but the innocent people you guys are defrauding are they responsible for the bad governance in this country? No. So,if they’re so eager to scam they should scam the politicians that messed up the country not innocent foreigners.
Because of the activities of these fraudsters foreigners don’t trust Nigerians anymore. You’ll go through unwarranted and unnecessary checks at airports just because you’re a Nigerian while other folks from countries like South Africa won’t be checked.
If you tell these guys to stop engaging in fraud they’ll say you’re hating or jealous
Talking about bad governance,is Nigeria the only country with bad governance in the world? Venezuela and Zimbabwe e.t.c are countries with bad governance yet their citizens don’t go about scamming innocent foreigners because of the situation in their country.

Most Nigerians just have a criminal and get rich quick mentality and this has nothing to do with the state of governance in the country because most of them take this same disgusting mentality to countries with good governance e.g USA and Canada.

And what makes you think you'll not get swayed by wealth and power? Whoever is going to turn Nigeria round must be someone who is not fazed by those & must have lived enough in abundance to see them as what they really are. Temporal gains
Wrong!

The system is set up to make even a saint fall. Except there is a serious overhauling of the system, where the institutions are stronger than the men, we will keep running in circles.

Take buhari for instance, he says he's not corrupt, but his family both immediate and extended have all been fingered in one corrupt practice or the other, since they came along.

A common thief and robber can never have a good future. You scam people of their hard earned money and have the nerve to refer to yourself as innocent. You are not okay at all and your days are surely numbered.

[Stupid comment liked by 25 other thieves. Is it not clear enough that it is because of thieves like Ramoni igbalodey and other idiotic puppies that shit like this keep happening to us. Yes the government is corrupt just like many other governments world wide and yes there are criminals everywhere the only difference between others and us is that we glorify criminals and even make excuses for them. Of course definitely because many of you lazy lout are planning to join the criminal gang or are even part of one criminal gang or the other.
