Why do you want to book for medicals now when you’ve already deferred your admission to January 2021?

Unless you’re going for September 2020 entry, I see no reason for the rush.

I think he can start in September because it has a six months validity. I was told today that if the lungs is not clear, one will be put on check for 8 weeks and I met people who had to wait. I advice that people go for the test early and some persons have lost out of terms

Try to take the NIN to an NIMC office to reprint your slip if it is possible

Cheers

Got my passport in November 2019. NIN was part of the criteria but the immigration guys ruled it out for me.

OK, thanks a lot , I may have to defer if it doesn't work out.

Unfortunately, we don't have automated student loan system like the UK has for their citizens, collecting a loan is not an easy process, you have to have some earnings and pay back system to work with. I doubt you will get much answers here to be honest... You should be speaking with Financial Institutions, since you sent a mail, go directly to your account officer and seek advice. they are the ones to help.

Perhaps attempt to look out for fully funded scholarships such as Commonwealth and Chevening, if it doesn't work, Plan and Save up..Delay is not denial

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Movinghigher: 12:21am On Jul 07, 2020
OK ,thanks . I will look it up again , I checked it earlier though and saw that a cosigner is one of the criteria, and must be UK based so I didn't check further.
mimilyrics:
Future finance wouldn't process a loan application while the student is outside the UK. Prodigy processes loans while students are outside the UK but they are only available for students of certain schools.

On whether the TLS will open, I have closely studied events and am taking the risk. I am very positive about it. The UK won't return passports if they have no plans to open up. If you closely follow Boris broadcast, he is always saying that he is ready to go. I will advice you follow your instinct.

For TB you can go ahead. I got mine today and it expires January 6th next year.

Thanks for your response. Do you mean they returned passport of those that has applied before the pandemic?

Contact IOM to clarify whether they can do a sputum test.
I do know that the TB screening procedure for pregnant women has the option to exclude xrays or to opt for a special abdominal shielding xray procedure (which my cousin rejected, she went for the (longer) sputum test route instead.)

I don't know what IOM's procedure may be now regarding sputum tests, so you contact them first.

You can, if you are in 2nd or 3rd trimester. My wife was pregnant when she did her last TB test. Ask your doctor for proper guidance.

You must have done yours at Festac Passport office which still uses the old one that doesn't require NIN or another passport office. I just want to say both the old one and new one are still valid and you can still use either of them to travel. No need to panic and switch to a new one "Unless" your passport is about to expire. Rather put the money to a good use, for starters your TB test. Since you received your passport 2019 then you still have until 2024 before it expires.

Ther are two types now - the standard e-passport and enhanced standard e-passport. You don't need NIN to do the former.

I would decamp if I were in your shoes and apply to a school that has January intake unless you are bent on entering this September of course. A school that's always finding it hard to make decisions might definitely come back to hunt you in your academic year with them in terms of delay in graduation, result processing etc. It just shows they are either unorganized or too careful to point of being slow.

It depends on her course. Not all courses have January intake.

Yeah I know but I think she would be better off with another school. Just my opinion.

Guys please someone asked this question on the main forum and I saw series of discouraging responses. And to my greatest surprise, it came from some of the prospective students sharing the same idea here with us, some has admission currently with UK school. pls can we trash it out here as a family

Please my fellows i need your advice, i am in between 2 choices. I have this land i just bought and wana build my house i have fenced it and out gate but i am thinking if to use the money i got to develop the land or i use it and travel abroad (uk ) for my masters pls advice me.

For those abroad is it easy there and can i get a good job after my masters or i should remain here in Nigeria and get married?

I will need to sell my car and properties if i am to travel.

Please help move to front page for more views and suggestions thanks.

Trash what? You’re not even the person that needs this particular advise in question. You just went & copied it here, just to detail the thread. Don’t know what you’re trashing.

This is a hard one. I'm a prospective student so I have no idea how it is in the UK unless those who are there could give you more information on this but from what I've witnessed from people who go there, there is a possibility your travelling there might favor you and it might not. It's a risk one have to take. I would suggest you find a way in killing two birds with one stone which involves not selling all your properties and you still traveling. So that if at all your stay there doesn't favor you, you still have something in Nigeria to come back to. I believe there are scholarships programs available that covers full tuition, you can do more research on that or see how you can apply for a loan.

I said that someone asked this question NOT ME..point of correction!

secondly, the reason why i copied it is because my brother(sponsor) saw it as well and he was the one that sent it to me, he even screenshot ur own opinion not knowing that u r also hassling to enter UK urself.

My question now is, are u saying that someone no fit go UK make am again? not trying to antagonize your stance on this very issue.

I'm mature enough to learn from peoples opinion and critics as well
