What do you know about the UK? You are the type that work only with calculators - £1000 to Naira! If I work in 4 places and earn £10/hr, bla bla bla.. Rubbish! UK is toast. Very educated Nigerians are stuck there in Toilet Cleaning, wiping old people's bum, Security Guarding and other demeaning, horrendous jobs..These are people with UK Masters and PhD's..No job for them. They can't even conveniently pay their bills, never mind save. It depends largely on what sphere of business related course. To illustrate, compare a Business analytics degree to Human Resource Management degree. Both a business related course but one will give you a competitive edge in a job market while the other is fast becoming obsolete even if you're a first class Phd holder in the subject. It's all about thinking strategically. Think of the relevance of the degree in the next 10 years and beyond, think of the digital and big data age we're in. I am currently writing my Msc dissertation in a business related course and there's absolutely no reason not to.

My answer is capital YES, except if the opportunity for a stable job and valid documents are guaranteed. During my last trip to US, I was offered an admin job by a nice friend in his own private company and I was tempted to take it but when I was briefed of the things I have to do to get immigration and police off my back, I thought of the risks involved which include sacrificing my job down here to live like a fugitive if I eventually overstay my visa. Mind you, it is a crime to work with a tourist visa. Of course I value my freedom more than anything so I'm glad I made the right choice. I am currently working hard to finish my house here in Lagos because I plan to relocate legally to a better country which has more value for ethic diversity and work life balance. I still like it here but my major drive is the fact that my kids deserve better.

yes I'm try to leave for Poland but I do have family members outside this country especially considering the fact that most of them have been living in the UK since 60s, by the way my own sister studied in the UK from 2012-2015 before living for Canada for her masters. She still regrets spend money going over to UK when she should have gone to Germany or Canada in the first place.

How about friends who went there for masters and had to return to Nigeria after their studies. All of them wish they had been patient enough to try out other countries.

If that's not enough for any body to see the red light that UK is not what it use to be, then I don't know what it is.

Some body even pointed out South Africa, do you see me fault that person suggestion. Every man is entitled to his or her opinion. This is a public group.

Build a house base on your budget and if you can add room(s) for rent, it will pay you big or small. It's an investment! Another good thing you will be here to supervise the building construction. I think you should put your travel plans on hold. Observe the pandemic, economy of the country before you make a move.

Forget UK, apply to a Canadian university for a 2 years master's program, after graduation you are allowed to work in Canada for 3 years. And can apply for permanent residency.

I always knew that your initial comment was based on hearsay, you have no single knowledge about the UK.

For the fact that your sister failed to survive in the UK does not mean that others were not successful, many Nigerians planning to travel abroad have one thing in common..lack of planning and direction.

A lot of Nigerian students came to the UK with little or no intention to study, just to leave Nigeria through student route, when that plan failed to materialize they armed themselves with pity party excuses to tell anybody who cares to listen.
