My wife and I already have masters in UK. But I am thinking of taking the 2years post study visa opportunity.

Yes you can do another masters but it has to be different from your previous one and you also need to write a letter explaining why you are doing another masters and how it shows progression.

If I may,

It simply means , that rule ( needing to show academic progression) would have applied to him if he was still in the UK, but since he’s applying from Nigeria, he’s exempt.

Those who have finished a particular course in the UK (and are still living in the UK) and are applying for a Tier 4 visa to start a new degree course need to prove to the home office that the new course is either higher or it is in progression to the last one they did.

Those who are applying from outside the UK need not prove anything. The normal Tier 4 rule will apply to them.

Hope this is clear enough

The reason I am asking is because I have lost 2 applications based on this academic progression on a 2nd Masters. Both schools said I didn't meet academic progression for doing a second program at the same level during visa application. But now you guys are saying that applies only to those in UK? But I applied as an overseas student. I am getting a bit confused here...

Is there anyone who successfully applied for a 2nd Masters or knows someone who did.. to shred more light on this.. Thanks!

Is this letter to UKVI or to the school? Is it required during visa interviews or school application/admission process?

Thanks @Bourne007.. I did see this but I assumed it wasn't aplicable based on different feedbacks I got.
For the schools, I have moved on...gotten other offers..so I am good now. Just wanted clarification because of the visa interview...
