You downloaded an MTK app for a snapdragon phone.

Most of them won't work. I transferred almost 100 apps from my infinix to here, out of the almost 50 I tried installing, I still had to go to playstore to download almost 30 inside.

2 different chipset. You're stuck. Or go download app built for snapdragon

On this Android system battery consumption, I tried different things like force restarting and using default theme, keeping my phone and apps updated but to no avail until I cleared my device cache.
This worked for me

Settings> About phone >Storage>Cached data>Clear.

Which phone and which Gcam did you try to install, it is not all phones you can pick a random Gcam app and install.
