Please, can the professionals in mobile repairs assist me the issues I am currently having with my redmi note 5 pro. I discovered I couldn't open the apps folder for Google and tools. I have tried clearing the data on system launcher, but no solution. I have force stop on same launcher, no solution. I don't use app lock but I wonder how the folders locked up that I can not access the apps in both folders. Please, any suggestion/s to help resolve this issue will be appreciated

My good Mi Users, I've have tried without success to get GCAM to run on my Redmi 8 to no avail.
It keeps crashing anytime I tap to take a picture.
Please what can be done to remedy this ?

cos i did backup, when i boot my phone, i realised i didn't copy the backup to my sd card. Thus, i have lost my backup

Incremental is for those already using the rom.

But pixel experience doesn't have customisation. Better look for other ROMs.

Check @RedmiNote7Updates

But before that, you have to install custom recovery like orangefox. Search Google for the rn7 version. Then follow the steps posted above

Yeah, rooting doesn't wipe phone but unlocking bootloader does.

1. Unlock bootloader,
2. Install custom recovery
3. root your phone,
4. enable camera2ap
5. install Gcam.

You have to unlock bootloader yourself
