Thanks for the feedback!

While I cannot give you the login details to my account (and I think we'll both agree that this wouldn't be a wise thing to do), here's what I'll do to prove I own the domain:

I'll redirect it to your current website. Only the person who owns the domain name can do this.

Let me know if this works for you.

Best regards"

Sweet, Thanks .

Yes, that is accurate, contacting seller first and then agree how much he wants to sell, then, take it to buyer with additional fees Untop. Then when he is ready to pay, we contact epik and they input the price.

But if the buyer has a fixed price in marketplaces then our mark-up might not favour us if buyer searches on GoDaddy or even type in search and the price is lower.

Bosses in the house, I need your assistance..

I and buyer reached agreement on Dan but the buyer didn't make payment after sending payment reminder to him on more than two occasions by Dan.

This morning, I told one of Dan representative to relist the domain which they did and they also provide me with the buyer's details which include his phone number and email address.

My question is "How do I follow up using the details given to me?"

Note: Dan claimed to have also put a call through to him but it is a company number and no one picked it

Any Suggestion please?

It wouldn't just make sense (this is just my opinion please).

Many of the endusers, when they see a domain (either u contact them first or not), they first go to where they know best for their own confirmation, GODADDY.
So if the domain owner had listed on marketplaces at fixed price (just like slimjosh43 said), which obviously one of them is afternic, GoDaddy will display the price. People you contacted will see price less than your asking price. You might just be wasting your time outbounding for domain owner if at all the buyer go ahead to purchase the one listed at lower price.

Secondly, which is the most important.

A PRO on NP did a thread sometime back, where he did the same exact thing!
He saw a premium Domain listed at a VERY SWEET PRICE, instead of buying, he went ahead to Outbound at increased price, before he knows it domain was sold, meaning he only waste his time to outbound for owner(you can search for the thread, and if i have time I'll dig it up).
This action was LABELLED UNPROFESSIONAL by commenters.
(And believe it or not, it's unprofessional). They said he should have risked buying the Domain if at all wat he wanted to do was business!

The certified BROKERS in the industry are either being contacted, or they contact the domain owner first, and he will provide them his price and his lowest offer. From there, the owner knows whatever broker sells it for, the profit is his own. Or even he might not have any profit, but only a percentage from the sale!
Infact some people cannot afford some brokers!

Now, i know wat Epik are trying to do is only to be innovative, which is definitely good.
But if at all i have understood what EpikNigeria said, then that is not the best innovation. It will only bring loss of trust between buyer, seller and the so called broker.

EpikNigeria
This is only my own understanding of the situation.

And here I believe you are speaking from the point that if domain was purchased at Epik and listed ONLY at epik.

But this situation is very very rare.

Most of domainers list at various marketplaces, one of the is obviously Afternic.

All my Epik Domains are at other marketplaces, and i believe alot of people here can relate.

Also, most of endusers use GoDaddy! So afternic (or any partnership marketplace) price will be displayed (which is a lesser price to the price used in outbound).

This new feature by EPIK is not for domain sellers. Its is not unprofessional either. The feature is primarily for Domain Name Brokers.

Imagine a scenario where you own a high quality name and can't get an end user to buy. You contact a broker who is more connected and he gets a buyer. The broker is the middle man and he initiates an escrow transaction. You as the seller would see a different price your own selling price). The buyer sees a different price(your broker's selling price).

In the end, business is done and everyone goes home happy.

Brokered Transactions There is a special case where a transaction is initiated by a domain broker who is neither the buyer nor the seller but is a facilitator of a transaction. In some cases, a broker is arranging for a two-sided transaction where buyer and seller see different prices. In this case, special coordination is required so that the final buyer receives their expected asset at their expected price, and the original seller receives their expected proceeds.

Alright. I believe i didn't understand.
But , i believe the situation is made so that everybody can now be a broker.

Also, i think i mentioned where u can contact a broker, or a broker can contact u, the broker can now agree on a minimum price the seller is willing to pay. From there broker can do whatsoever he wish. Which is the normal method.

But i can remember EpikNigeria saying both buyer and seller won't know what is happening and u will get ur profit.

Also, i talked about buyers u contacted doing there own mini research, and one of their favourite tool is GoDaddy. Seeing a different price there can trigger them to us GoDaddy (which they know definitely will not fraud them).

The way @EpikNigeria explained the feature is a bit confusing.

Those that don't understand might now start outbounding for names they do not own.

What if the buyer discover you sold at a 15% more because real owner did not delist from other marketplace, what if it is a stolen domain?...a lot of what if's?

He admitted he was wrong. Actually it was his team that pushed it.
The whole situation would cause loss of trust which is very vital.

We have certified brokers, brokerage is their job.

It's not a verified information
But i think Boomerang reduces chances of deactivation.
Yesterday I used normal Gmail (so i can multitask using Gmail and boomerang), the account i used on Gmail was deactivated. And i swear i sent more mails from the boomerang accounts.

Nice idea. But if one want to do outbounding on behalf of the seller, is that what it means? Then won't it be known to the seller , since he, the buyer likely pay via the link known to seller? Or can you explain how broker services work that we will take the name to the potential buyers without seller known the price. Will it be like contacting seller first and then agree how much he wants to sell, then, take it to buyer with additional fees Untop. Then when he is ready to pay, we contact epik and they input the price.
Please can you explain to us like a lay man cos once you click a name , it's either buy or make offer..
Thanks

What you need to understand is that there is difference between Epik Marketplace and Epik Escrow. Domain name can get sold through Epik Escrow without the name being listed at Epik Marketplace.

For escrow transactions, after fillling the details of both parties, the escrow officer will initiate the transaction by sending an email to the buyer with clear instruction on how to make payment either via Crypto, Wire Transfer, PayPal or Credit Card, upon payment, the fund is held in escrow while the domain owner is also sent an email instruction regarding pushing/transferring the domain and subsequently receiving the payment for the domain name.

While, for Marketplace transaction, the name has to be listed on Epik Marketplace and the name servers changed to NS3.EPIK.COM and NS4.EPIK.COM, in this case buyers can purchase the domain name directly by visiting the URL of the domain name e.g www.AtlantaPlumber.com

Geo fences? What does that mean and which business will use the domain?? And its even on dot net. Stay with dot com for now

Medicfund: it's a geo domain but I don't even know the business that will use it.

As for zedXT I don't what that means.

Advice: stop wasting money till you understand what are good names.
I appreciate. lesson learnt.
let me pray to sell off these ones first. Thanks.
Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by BUGOFF(m): 1:34pm On Jul 23, 2020
ElonMosque:

Hm..

Geo is much more straightforward. Here's what you can do, go through the first page to the current page, searching only for sales reports. Just look at what is selling - flooring, roofing, towing, et cetera. I cannot overemphasize the importance of sales reports, not only for motivation but for understanding what sells.

With the little I know, I am not confident on Geo+MedicFund. Medic Fund should be a government thing. ZedXT? What's the idea behind the name? Can't think of one idea so I'll say you should focus on more popular acronyms like AI,VR,PR etc. Zed isn't exactly a word so if you're handregging - target domains like zedox, zedia etc.

Geo fences ain't so bad, although the term ought to be "Geo Fencing" according to searchvolume/io data.

Honestly, the easiest piece of advice is to look at sales reports, here and on NP. You don't need to "reinvent the wheel". Just look for similar names to what has sold.

My advice isn't complete but at least it can help a little.

Good luck smiley
This helps a lot. will do as advised.
