Rodgers went offensive against Tottenham and suffered massively for it.

If he does same against us, he’ll be toast. We only have to let him. But Olé might think otherwise.

I expect them to play the high press against us again, because they’re in search of a win, but with their defense in its current state, our forwards should have a terrific game.

We actually have a pattern and style of play.

Early on in the season it was gbas-gbos as important team plays are injured, out of favor or we don’t just have them.

Olé has been tinkering with the team and counters were the easiest way to score.

In January when Bruno arrived, Pogba returned from injury and Matic earned his trust, we’ve been playing a possession type of football. The sad part is that we seem to have lost that keen edge we used to have when a counter presents itself.

Since January, Ole has been playing with A (possession football; pass out from the back ) and thrown plan B into the garbage. So, instead of goofing goalkicks to a target man upfield, try to win second balls and attack from there, we’ve been inviting pressure on our GK, CBs and DM (all of whom aren’t gifted at quick thinking) by playing out from the back with 5 opponents surrounding them.

Lukaku has never been known for his aerial prowess, when he was here, he was renowned for losing aerial duels with the opposition CBs whenever we go route one.
