Students aged 18 to 30 years old may use the free Visale system (www.visale.fr) as a guarantor for their lease. Once you have obtained your student visa, it takes 15 minutes to sign up and is valid both for university student housing and for standard housing in the public sphere (standard lease). More information and a guide for the Visale procedure on the Campus France website : https://www.campusfrance.org/en/VISALE-free-security-deposit-for-students

Students aged 31 years and older must provide an attestation from a physical person in the Euro zone who agrees to act as guarantor (co-sign the lease), or if this is not possible, they may pay the rent for their entire stay up-front....

Thanks for this but the landlords/properties I am looking at are asking for Visale. And Visale is asking for residence permit (visa) before giving me a guarantee.

Meanwhile I cant even apply for visa without accommodation certificate.

Exactly you need visa for visale, you need visale for accommodation, you need accommodation for visa. undecided

Thanks for this... And it looks like the last option is paying up-front, but that's another thing altogether. If you don't mind, any tips on this, so that one can have a backup plan. Also any way to contact you?

That's just it, but I believe we will scale through we just have to keep looking for a way...

Please I also want to ask, can one go ahead and pay the 50k without getting the accommodation document first? Because I understand that, after payment, the next is booking for appointment of which I will still need the accommodation document.
Thanks in anticipation

Accommodation is compulsory... Its as important as admission. A roof over your head is first ever ... Which province are u going to... Crous gave out accommodation yesterday to some candidates...

For those who have done the CROUS process: I got CROUS yesterday but they are asking for VISALE which I cannot get until I have my Visa. What is the typical thing to do in this situation?

I think all you need to do is to wait until you get your Visa to apply again. There is not deadline to Visale application.
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by flyway: 9:27am On Jul 24, 2020
Right. But the residence has given a 1-week deadline to send the requested documents and I can’t get VISALE in that period.

Try studapart.com
You have to pay for the studapart certificate which serves for the guarantor.
When you do, let me know how it goes.

The pandemic has affected the economy of many countries that live on tourism. See UAE(Dubai) Israel, Greece, Paris(France).

Hence, they've got no choice than to open up

People took advantage of the pandemic to inflat prices.

₦15,000 to ₦50,000 is 340% increment which has no justification at all.

Dollar was ₦360 and now ₦460. The ₦100 difference is just 30% difference.

This increment has no justification

Yes, but for 24 hours. I’m not sure if that’s ok for the embassy though.
