When will the kid learn to save, to manage and plan for his or her life.

Your post was about hustling and moving out of comfort zone but it is different than what most people on the thread mentioned were saying. Most of them still depended on others for their survival. Staying at the university or at a friend's house is not the same as hustling. A true hustler knows there is no going back, no mummy or daddy to cry back to.

Some parents struggle to pay rent o, many parents no be landlord o. Some parents are frustrating o, so a man has no choice than to leave. Why do you think male kids are given their own thatch house away from the main house once they grown during the olden days?

I don't know why I red this nonsense this night. I thought u wanted to even say something sensible. So everybody that says they left parents house at 20 is a liar? Indeed talk is cheap. Anybody who has gotten no experience in life can just come online and say whatever they want about the whole Unpredictable and diverse human race.
I left at 20 years and 30days . Was working as a cleaner then. It was the best decision I ever made because as I left, I started developing business ideas and doing them and they always worked because all those criticism from family and their naysaying I was no longer with them to hear it. I was focused with no distraction . In ur parents house, you have to win the agreement of everybody before u do something. Something u know deep down will be successful but u can't do it cos ur parents and family disagree and u spend so much energy trying hard to make them understand and agree with u. But fact is that most things we do that make us succeed are things majority disagree with. You alone can write ur own history. The pen is in ur hand. Stop following the status quo. Do whatever you feel is right and stand and face the consequence .That's responsibility. Life is very short to be stuck in one place for so long especially in a place u don't feel happy.

This your statement lightened me up cos I have been there. Many of us have been there. All u need is a push. Somebody or something in that house will happen that will make u want to leave. It's called motivation weda positive or negative it will help u get out that is if u r finding it difficult to decide to leave on time.

The right thing when done at the wrong time is wrong; a lot of people have left their parents house unprepared for life in the world because someone challenged them to leave their comfort zone. What most people fail to realize is that the term "comfort ZONE" is not necessarily a geographic location. There's nothing wrong with living with one's parents until they are able to afford the expenses that comes with striking out on their own. Just don't get too comfortable living there though. I know a guy who lived with his parents till he turned 28. First time he left his parents house was for the US where he lives till date. This was largely possible because he was able to save up and take care of the expenses this move required while living there

Different strokes for different folks

I stay with my Mum(dad's late) and I am over 25 (but not 30 yet)
but guess what.. I pay the rent and sort all bills since i started working (say 4 years ago)
I am practically the daddy of the house

Until your bastard government decides to pay her retirement...it will be hard to move as that will be a very unnecessary double expenses

I have my room..she has hers
we dont disturb each other and I go out and come back at will...she knows her boy is now an adult

if i had my way, I would have moved out of the house since but then...not right now

so you see different strokes for...
