Hi guys

Please, the bank statement we're to submit, can we do a statement for as long as we want or it strictly has to be a 28 day account statement? Like is it fine if we do a statement from January for example?

1. There should be a round square with a plus sign on the TLS page you've been directed to, just click it to upload your documents.
If you can share your screen without your personal details, it might help.

You need to pick a date before you're able to upload.

Yes that fine ..... as long as you are sure you have the money you need for at least 28days or since January

Please is there any update from UK embassy that dependents can't apply at once due to rush? Do they risk refusal if they apply at once? Please I need urgent response on this cos I want to apply and someone is telling me this.

Is there any clue of booking an Express date at tls? Is it better to go to Abuja centre? Thank you

Hi, have you already uploaded your documents using self service? If the answer is yes then you don't need to print out another statement, only your biometrics details would be captured on the 3rd of September....however if you are yet to submit your documents, then you will need to print a more recent statement, my advice is leave the money in your account the way it is till you submit and get a decision, that's if you can...hope this helps

Thank you for your email.

A deposit can be paid at any time but we can only issue a CAS up to 3 months before the start date of your course.

For the January 2021 intake, we will start issuing CAS in late October, exact date to be confirmed, but not before 26th of that month at the earliest. We will start asking students for their bank statements to be provided from about the second week of October onwards.

This is because any bank statement you use as financial evidence must be dated within 1 month of your subsequent visa application. This also gives us time to check the bank statements, which we need to do before we issue the CAS.

We have had students in the past who used different statements than those they originally sent to us and ended up with a visa refusal because they did not meet the requirements.

Obviously, everything depends on the ever changing response to the pandemic in the UK but hopefully things will be back to normal by then.







I printed my statement on 14th July
Got my CAS on 24th July
Submitted my visa application on 26th July.
Got biometric date of 3rd September.
Teesside University wrote on my CAS letter that i should apply with same statement within 31days from the day i printed it which i have done and uploaded.
Since my biometric is on 3rd September, will i require to print another on my biometric day?[/quote]

Heard the UKVI request for an address where you will be staying for the 14days isolation before you can book an appointment.
I will be going to Birmingham in September, my uncle lives in Northamptonshire and will be staying with him for that period till i sort out my accommodation.
My question is : will that address serve the purpose knowing that it's a different city from my school?

Just got this from my school, I think the quarantine stuff is confirmed.

The UK government has announced quarantine measures which means students will arrive at the UK and go directly to Loughborough without stopping off to visit family in route because they will need to self isolate for fourteen days.

I agree. This year has just been a mess with so many uncertainties. Universities are indecisive because of impromptu notices from the government.

Not just Uk, other countries as well.
Most Estonian Universities have cancelled this years intake completely. You either get a refund or defer. Scholarship holders have to reapply again next year.

Swedish Universities are going online & people are losing their stays in Sweden bc 50% of their classes are now online. My friend has been rejected her student permit extension & has been given 3 weeks notice to leave Sweden.

We can see what’s happening in the US too.
This year is just insane. If you’re not in a hurry for anything, just defer till next year and save yourself unnecessary hassle/expenses.

And who told you cases will not be worse by January, how do you know if by January the second wave of the coronavirus won't have eaten deep in the UK or in the world in general thereby limiting students planning to go by then. Just plan your studies anytime you see fit and let those who are planning to study now to do so

I am just confused.
This year is crazy though. If we still decide to defer to January, how are we even sure things won't get worse by then?. My goodness!
Anyway unless the embassy shuts down again, I'll just go ahead with the visa plans. I can travel whenever I feel its safe enough. Sha give me the visa... I'm not in a hurry
