This woman is the most dumb ass ever known! The mother never beat the boy in the video. All she was doing was to ensure the boy won't repeat such bad character again.

Does she have children at all? If at all, it is her type that throws shoes at children for just single mistake but coming out to feign holier than thou! Just ask her siblings or housemaid about her type, you will be marvelled that she may be more wicked than Jezebel.

What about the abuse we facing under Buhari. Is that how the UK government is abusing there citizens.

Do UK citizens collect stomach infrastructure to vote for their leaders, or they donate money and volunteer time & talents to support credible candidates?
You don't know what you are saying with your crude entitlement mentality.

Many of us grew up with almost similar treatments from parents. I guess because of our heady nature?..lol
Frankly, everyone needs to reduce their steam on this. Its just a form of discipline in this parts.

If you are not a fool, you would have known that there are many ways to discipline a child without flogging.
So what are you, finally

todaynewsreview:
The bodies of at least 74 migrants have been washed ashore in western Libya, in the latest tragedy along the dangerous trafficking route to Europe. The Libyan Red Crescent posted photos of dozens of bodies in black and white bags lined up along the shore near the western city of Zawiya.
A spokesman for the aid organisation said there were still bodies floating out at sea as the agency had no way of retrieving them. He said the migrants were all adults, mostly from sub-Saharan African countries, and all but three were men.
The UN migration agency, the International Organisation of Migration (IOM), said the dinghy had set off on Saturday with 110 people on board. The agency said traffickers deliberately took the engines from the boat and then abandoned it to drift.

What is child abuse here? Let her sit down biko. The mother was even civil about it by giving the child room to negotiate during the whole thing. So how can she say its child abuse?

Is she trying to say people should not discipline their children? We are not in the western world where the reverse is the case and they end up putting a gun in their parents head or its the court that will now be settling mother and child fisticups.

During her time, will the mother allow her make phim? Straight up adabo is what they'll give her before she realized what he she did.

All these oyinbo wannabes mehhnnn... Or is it just pure jealousy that the woman is trending?

Nothing represents child abuse in Nigeria more than the Almajiri system.
But Onochie would never mention this because of her principal's interest.

I don't think you know children can manipulate parents with crying ,they use cry as a weapon to get things and have their way.a child wants something and he just start to cry for no reason.i live in a country where I wish ,I can give my child some little spanking ,but of course once in a while ,some slight spanking on the buttocks.not with cane, unless I wan enter wahala.its good to give children some sort of discipline but not to the extreme of living marks and scars on the body. You correct the child and also show some love to balance up.i don't see anything wrong in the video,if you see what children abroad do to their parents ,u will never want to train your child or copy their ways of bringing up a kid.anyway ,a child that wants to spoil will spoil wether with cane or no cane, training a child requires wisdom ,u apply punishment where necessary and not all the time .just my thought

I strongly agree with Onochie. I was equally distressed for days after watching that video. Making a child beg that way is a no no for me.

You want to give a child living in this Nigeria, with these type of govt U.K training- continue.

To survive in this country, you have to go through Nigeria's own local nurturing not some UK or American training.
Their govts give them all the financial and psychological supports. Here we get nothing.
In the face of pandemic when Uk is giving palliative and reducing taxes, what do we get here?
Power bill increase
VAT increase
Rent stamp increase
Transport increase

In fact ehnnn... This woman is just making my head to turn.

I'm a teacher and one thing ive observed is, if you dont discipline these children they'll become a nuisance.

Let me cite an instance in some of the schools I teach.

The school adopted the no-cane policy. So the teachers are helpless and can't really carry out disciplinary measures. Now it has made this children so uncontrollable and raz. One the other hand as a visiting teacher I'm allowed to use the cane (only the head teacher and I) so I use it judiciously that once a week I visit.

Now, when ever im coming, from downstairs the whole place will be noisy like balogun market but once I step into the first class room, you'll hear shouts of "miss Okoli is around" and immediately there will be decorum. I mean the whole school will be quiet at once. So I dont need to use the cane most times. Same thing with all the schools I take. And you tell me they dont need discipline? Ta!

im not wailing.. I'm telling you the truth.. This government should be ashamed of itself.. A government official should be very careful with what he/she says because we are not the only one resident on earth... In their selfish disposition they do measure what they take in accordance with their counterparts in other developed world but when it comes to what affect the masses they look the other way

Okay Mr. Sanwo-Olu... Please, explain what or where I 'failed' to make sense above...

1. What kind of a mother videos and posts such a routine process of child discipline if not a manipulative and attention-seeking one??!

2. Why post such a video??! Just for fun??!

3. If not lack of intelligence, would a governor not clearly see that gratifying such a stunt would open the door for more of such future stunts??!

Now, how exactly have I shamed or disgraced anything or anyone by positing my perspective and opinion (One shared by anyone with even half a brain)??!...

I shall patiently and 'politely' await your answers!!!

N.B: Refrain from using any more gutter language, or you will be terribly reprimanded and reported to the "Banning committee"!!! Thank you. grin

Lauretta. Onochie should mind her business. A parent has the privilege to discipline her child as he/ she seems fit, as long as the child is not assaulted or treated badly.

In the case of "mummy calm down". From the dialogue between mother and son, you can see that boy knows he did wrong but just pleading with the boy.

The mother didn't beat him but only wants him to be cautioned.
