You'd need to upload the marriage certificate at the point of your spouse's application as evidence of your marriage.
You don't need to send it in with your application; listing his details on your application is enough.
Calm054:

Please I have a question @mimilyrics.. concerning uploading of documents, as the principal applicant if my spouse (dependents) is applying after I have obtained my Visa, do I need to upload our Marriage Certificate when I am sending in my application or when my spouse is making his? When is the right time to upload the Marriage Certificate?

Thank you for the swift replies. Here comes the confusion, what happens to my 28days bank statement since it is supposed to be valid prior to the day I make payment and with the way people are finding it difficult in getting appointment selection sad please what advice can you give me in that regards.

mimilyrics:
Yes, after payment and appointment selection.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 4:17pm On Aug 06, 2020
The 28-day period is the period for which the money must be in your account before your application. Once you submit your application, just print the statement for the 28-day period and upload.
Not being able to get an early biometrics appointment won't have a negative impact on your 28-day period statement.

You didn't ask for any proof of information.
But it's alright, I wouldn't want any of my further responses to be misconstrued.

All the best woman!

Hello,
Not sure i came as being agressive to you...i put up a link from the TLS and stand by it. You can't attend a flexi before your date of appointment, it has to be anytime ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT.

I asked for a proof of your information so we can all learn but you didn't put it up for me and others to learn. Again if you read through my comments, i try to be very modest in responding to people, if i don't have any idea or solution i simply don't respond

Cheers

I sent someone to TLS Ikeja yesterday to make inquiries.
To put the controversy about flexi appointments to rest:

Yes, you could do a walk in before your appointment date.
It's still available, but they say they've fewer slots due to working fewer days so they've reduced the number of people who will be allowed, even with their 42k, unlike before.

You can turn up and try your luck, but get an appointment first.

I got the same thing - was asked to input the CAS and other details of the principal applicant in one section, I think after you input the child/partner's name and details, so I think you're filling the right form.

Who knows, I might be wrong cheesy

Sorry if I'm asking something that has already been thrashed out before - but I read the previous discussions on this topic earlier and remained unclear.

My application date was August 3, i.e. the date when I paid IHS and visa fees. So my bank statement should cover the period 28 days prior to August 3 (i.e from July 6) irrespective of when I actually submit my biometrics?

Yes , that’s the information on their website but the reality is, you can have an appointment for a day and “walk in” at an earlier date.

Most likely because of corona, so many things have been relaxed.

@mimilyrics although i got September 8, but i was able to do my interview today,
I was asked my to verify my details, these were the questions asked:
Why the course,
Why the University,
Your future plan,
Why choosing Uk. That's all.

I'm kinda worried as i wasn't asked where I'd be staying, who is my sponsor.
Pardon my nervousness, it's my first time, does it means it not every time they ask this too?

Well, I prefer to go with the right information I can make reference to than reality because with the information if anything goes wrong I have my rights.

Technically I wasn't wrong but you said I was dead wrong and I was patiently waiting to learn and see if you had a policy or link to back your claim.

Again @youngee34 addressed me as 'Woman!' not to sound feminist but that is outrightly rude.

All the same we move on

Please my BC doesn't have my parents name on it, can I use an affdavit with it. As I am confused as what to do.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 6:01pm On Aug 06, 2020
Yes. Irrespective of when your biometrics appointment is scheduled for, your statement must capture the 28-day period which must be before your application submission.
You can print from the 5th of July since from July 6th to Aug 3rd is 28 days but to be on the safe side, I added an extra day.
The Oanda rate for Aug 3rd was N510.179 to £1 so that's what will be used to convert your funds.

As long as all your documents are in line with UKVI requirements and you had no issues answering the questions satisfactorily, you have nothing to worry about.

In situations like this in the past, it's been 50/50 but AR fixed some of them for the refusals due to ECO errors. I'm praying for no errors to be made on your application.
