Lhanre: Sakamaje: Blue3k: Both of you are nothing but shame to the rest of Nairalanders and by extension, to Nigerians. Take a look at the lists of items in Section 27 of their act and tell me if it wouldn't have been better for Ghanaian government to chase foreigners away instead of that trash you tagged law
Haba! Wetin come remain for foreigners to do? Even the few work wey remain still have stringent condition. I'm sure that none of you read through that trash before tagging your fellow citizens criminals because you enjoy saying it. Shame on you all tribalmall: Compare it with what Ghanaian trade association put up there now. That's no law but a directive telling foreigners that they are not welcome. What developed country has this kind law? Stop this lie |

RTSC:bro, i have been to ghana. if these people just sold their goods and ended it there, those ghanians won have any issue with them. these guys are noise makers, they fight anyhow. do you know that just recently, my cousin that sells there was involved in some serious fight with another nigerian and it almost resulted in some frat fight. imagine ngerians taking frat to ghana and other countries. there is more to this than just selling 2 Likes |

Someone who has resident permit had the right to work and own business, why then are they clamping down on them? Africans and their hate towards Nigeria, they always start it but when we do our own they would cry more than the bereaved |

GalPissetzky:I tire for Nigerian attitude, Nigerians are the only Africans in Africa that will go to a foreign country and start causing problems with everybody. Even in Nigeria to do business with your fellow Nigerian Everytime ur mind would be up, cause he can disappoint u at any moment. Then imagine a foreign land |

The major thing that lead to the increase in the population of Nigerians in Ghana is Ghana trying to draw students from Nigeria into their private universities. Anything any Nigerian suffers in Ghana or South Africa is their business, we have warned them many times to stop going there but they think they are smarter than others |

Ghanians are fools.....the border was not closed to spite Ghana it was closed to strangulate business of Southern Nigeria while Northern borders remain open, its the secret cold war btw North and Southern Nigeria for which Ghana happens to be affected, but to turn around and punish the victims is insane. Ghana will remember this day by tomorrow. |

Dedetwo: Countries are expected to have laws in place to protect and promote local business from foreigners. But yes.... these are not only draconian.... but laws that are applied retroactively. How can one change the rules of the game after the game started? The man whose business is being shut down.... yes if he were not in compliance but no if he is now required to pay $1M to continue operating .When the law passed... enforcement should've been going forward. Then again.... with the amount of investment required.... it is an invitation to corporate colonialism.... only the Mc Donalds.... the Shop Rites and the likes can foot that bill. Looking deeper businesses listed are those that Nigerians in particular are involved in so it's fair to say the law targets Nigerians and enforcement also targets Nigerians. So not only the laws are draconian... but enforcement is biased. |

Blue3k: This ur post is deceitful & full of malicious intents. Am know in ur heart, u r one of those tribal bigots & u can't even hide it. U r rejoicing over ill treatment to ur country men. These rubbish laws u posted&r applauding here, do they look just to u? Why is that only Nigerian traders r always targeted ? Will they b able to take d same treatment if Nigerian govt applies same treatment to ghanains in Nigeria? Mind u all Nigerians&traders across tribes r victims of ghanains vengeful deeds. All these has nothing to do with Igbo traders... Ghanains r known to resent everything Nigerian and shows it at any slightest opportunity. 1st it was Nigerian diplomatic building which obviously isn't own by 'Igbo' traders. They r d only west African country always ready to challenge&ridicule Nigeria at international levels. Know now that the cause of all these is the Ghana must go of 1980s by Shagari govt&lagosians which wasn't done by Igbo traders. Now plus Buhari boarder issue which they r pained more than those that share boarders with Nigeria. Ghana targets anything Nigeria both govt&individuals. All these una tribal bigotry displays here which these foreigners follows gives them d impetus to always rubbish us. Nigerians learn when to draw the line between ur online banters for our collective good and our government must sit up to put these 'wannabe' countries to order. 2 Likes |

Those Ghanaian laws are anti ECOWAS. All member states should have similar trade and economic laws to ensure non discriminatory practices against member states. Ghana should not discrimate against fellow member states of the same economic community. Nigeria should lay complaint at ECOWAS. Such rubbish cannot happen in European Union . |
