Naija this Naija that... as if u cant prosecute jail or execute a criminal according to the respective laws of the land.

U catch a Mexican dealing in Arizona u jail him, a Nigerian in Gauteng u jail him too. Drugs like any other bad business are built on criminal networks. Some naija actors are just heavily entrenched in that game. And the customer base in SA is mad. Why arent they an issue in Nigeria? Plus u cant deal without the cooperation of police and local gangs. Cos u go to jail ( need protection from rape and other violence, esp SA where the structures are well defined) and have inadequate manpower. So who is deceiving who ? The Victim narrative is trash.

Nigerians dont care much for criminals whether copatriot or not.

This is getting absurd. A Togolese/Beninois kills/steals from a Naija in lagos and nothing. A rumor of a Naija raping a girl in Benin or doing some other act prompts the ransacking on Naija owned shops... petty merchants n workhands are now ppl's problem?

Ghana owns their country. They can do as they please. Social media just gives a platform to jobless hateful ppl. Either way we do it Naija is the most preponderant of the black countries. One day it's to hell with naija, another day it's hailing naija artistes across music and film as 'African'. When na time for ecowas budget we are all West African etc lol. Naij boys will still smash and enjoy. A man doesnt rely on group identity for relevance. Na money go still solve the issue. Forget all this social media shouting.

More heartfelt concepts like Islam and real belief systems are a better basis for identity than skin color. Completely farcical ish. All the same. Killing every Naija in SA wouldn't still stop the drug problem. So whatever.
The greatest attack against herd mentality and herd identity. You deserve an award for that simple sentence monsieur.

Somalis and Ethiopians are also strong in small business in South Africa, so you're not special. The Ghanaians are retaliating for some building issue from last month.

You are too obsessed with people being jealous of u. There's nothing to be jealous of Nigerians for. Fix your country first then we can have something to envy. And stop being a white worshiper, SA joined the BRICS and G20 during black leadership while you were snoozing, and we just beat u to chair the Africa Free Trade Area. So go lick your wounds in a corner and open a dictionary for the true meaning of the word jealousy.

I support u. I'm a Nigerian. We are shameless. We don't even have electricity, no water, our country is just upside down. As we speak, hundreds of Nigerians are queuing for south African visa. Why? We have not been able to fix our own country.

Do South Africans rush to Nigeria as we rush to South Africans?

What we should do as a country is to pour our anger against our leaders. They are the reasons Nigerians are scattered all over the world hustling anyhow to survive.

The other day, a Nigerian died in Indonesia why hiding from the authorities. He obviously had no papers to stay there. He died instead of returning home.

Nigerians, wake up, demand for good leadership from ur leaders and leave other countries alone for now.

The prognosis of a dishonest lifestyle and dysfunctional society is what we are now reaping or experiencing as a Nation. If you must enter peoples house go through the door don't use the window you will be labelled a thief even if your intentions are good. The nation bleed from the leader to the led as we pay lip service to honesty and transparency due to our quest for sudden riches which cannot be satiated. The market woman raises price without a cause, transporters raise fare arbitrarily when all conditions remains quite, the farmer envisage a dearth to compensate for his lab-our and justify a hike, the landlords are lords to themselves, revenue collectors and law enforcement agents are neck-dip in bribery and corruption, elected officers begins a push for a second term when the first is yet unjustifiable. Anything coming out of this disorderliness is what we now see playing out in our diaspora, since charity begins at home. We need truly sincere, honest and sacrificially leader to put the nation on the right path before this nation can work again. Hardwork and merit must be enshrine and compensated while vile and incompetence should be sacrificed forever on the altar of delineation, I hope we get such leader and society before Jesus comes.

Before I clicked on the post to read, I know the lazy Zulus would be looking to justify their xenophobia.

Thankfully one of them noted the difference: while Ghana's minister for trade came to shot down shops, in South Africa it was different; Zulus were robbing and stealing groceries, cash, household items, electronics from both legal and illegal Africans.

There's something in South Africa's diet that makes them uncouth, violent and rape-prone.

It could be pap. But there weren't the world's longest enslaved people for nothing.

So says a black South African who lives as a slave in his own country which has the entire economy dominated by the few whites.
You hate Nigerians because they come into your country and prosper more than you lazy black South Africans.
There are many Nigerians in the academia, health and other sectors in SA. Even your white lords prefer to work with Nigerian intellectuals than you lazy bones.

If Africa as a continent is not cursed then tell me what it is! Why this much hatred amongst the inhabitant of this continent? Are there no Mexicans in the US that are into drugs and other vices; and yet the American government send the FBI and CIA after them and get them prosecuted after they are caught? Does the American government and other sensible governments around the world resolve to attacking those country nationals unlawfully? undecided

Speaking on this very issue, u know what Ghana is demanding is outrageous. How do u expect small n medium scale business to pay 1 million dollars b4 opening a shop.

Do u know what 1 million dollar is?

You should understand the hand writing. Its just another way of sayiing ' we don't want you'. If our government do same to their businesses here I bet you they will call for dialogue

Its the same string they pulled up years ago by by heavily taxing Nigerian actors and filmmakes based in Ghana huge amount before they could shoot or act in a movies in Ghana

Good enough the actors guild of Nigeria here reciprocated. That was when the likes of john dumelo and mijid Michael ran back to Ghana...

They actors guild of both nations hadhad to dialogue to address the issue to great a level playing ground.

Sincere if I were in government I will swiftly ask all Ghanaians doing business here to pay same 1 million. They we see who laughs last
