I've not checked out nairaland in such a long while and I open it to see this, I'm shattered.

All these drama, Seyi is really starting to look like a bad person but I still ship her and Dele, Dele and Tinu is a ship that just won't work

I understand a little of Seyi's character but she's just so annoying, I'm exasperated because of her.

The kids are really smart and Tomini is such a bright child, maybe not in academics but if had a child like her, I'd praise God.
Seyi really took it low by calling Tomini names, she's 8, I know kids can be really annoying tho. Now Temi hates Seyi too and Tinu wants to clap back, this isn't going to end well *sighs*

Seyi is unreasonable and almost makes me think she isn't ready for marriage. If Elsa should enter this their fight ehn...

With the way things are going, Dele isn't going to propose soon and if he does, they'll have to have some time to go back to at least being civil. Not he and Seyi , o.Seyi...Tinu and the kids need to really clear their differences but that won't happen soon, their drama just started

If Seyi was a real person, I'd advice her to talk to Dele, like the fvck?! I'd shake some sense into her. Communication really is key for them

That chapter where u put in insecure by Sauti Sol, my head almost burst...I love the song but sadly, Dele and Seyi didn't have the complete conversation they should have had.

I don't like Seyi's mum o, she only talked real sense at the end of her tirade

Dare died?! That's so sad, I'm not a fan at all of using spiteful words at a person when in an argument, it's really low. Because they trust you and you know their weak point, you use it against them, I almost lost my faith in Seyi there but I know they'll still work things out.
Ose, I don't have much to say about him but he has good intentions, still want to know how Dare died tho. And when did he have a daughter?

Tinu really shouldn't use the kids as a tool, not really a tool but I can't find the right word
Could you pleassseee inject Elsa's husband into this, pretty please with sprinkles and chocolates on top?
*insert puppy dog eyes*

All in all, the drama really makes me wonder at the awesomeness of the human mind. God really is great

Thank you for this millie, I really wish someone could find this book and give it the true recognition it deserves, a publishing house maybe?

Its obvious! Whatever she's fighting to preserve, her bad mouth and irrational way of treating issues will make her lose the man she wants. If I were in Seyi's shoes, I'd give him the benefit of doubt because love is patient and kind. I'd also allow time to reveal things even though I don't know what it will reveal.
Personally, the above worked for me and I'm happily married! Love is not jealous, so I feel seyifunmi is actually obsessed with Dele.
Tinu on the other hand tried! if I were her, I would have changed it for her and spilled the beans. I'm sure seyifunmis reaction will be priceless.

I won't blame Tinu. You can't hate me and love my kids. She's just trying to protect herself and her children.
True but taking the kids away is like still asking Dele to choose (thats what that action looks like) and that would also lead to a delayed proposal (which would have brought calm to frailed nerve).

Episode 19 - Journey to the past.

Rosanna curled into a ball, crying her eyes into streams of tears. The pillow underneath her head was getting soaked but she wasn't going to be done crying anytime soon.

If only she had gotten there on time. If only she'd booked her flight earlier. If only she has so lackadaisical and sluggish, then maybe she'd have been able to stop him.

Three knocks on the door broke her hair of regret and she turned towards the door.

"Ro, please come out!" Ose begged.

She wiped her snotty nose on her sleeve. She had probably gone a bit too far locking herself up in Ose's spare room, but she had nowhere else to go. Her mum was back in the States. She hadn't spoken to her dad in three years. Ose and Seyifunmi were the only people she knew in Lagos.

And she couldn't stand the sight of Seyifunmi. How dare she say she let another woman steal Dare away? Did she know how hard she fought? Did she know the sleepless nights she spent by his bed, waiting for him to open his eyes? Did she know what risks she took to fly to Moscow as a Black American just to check out the illegal organ transplant hospital?

Seyifunmi knew nothing.

After storming out of Ose's flat, she'd gone back home and packed up her things and come back to his house. It was probably rude and uncouth but she had no other option. Just the mere thought of Seyifunmi rent her already bleeding heart.

Dare's death left a wound in her heart that could never be healed. It would fester and kill her. That was her fate. To die of a broken heart.

"Ose, please. Leave me alone." Rosanna answered.

"Ro, please." He begged with a soft sigh.

"Ose, I beg you. Just leave me alone." She sobbed. "I want to be alone."

He sighed again and said, "I just want to remind you that it wasn't your fault."

She scoffed and heard the sound of his feet walking away. He was deranged. Along with her mother.

It was her fault. If she had left Moscow that night, maybe she'd have made it back to Dare on time before he made that decision.

If anyone had given her some heads up, she'd have ceased Dare's phone and maybe have opted for a civil wedding.

The wedding planner tapped her watch and murmurs filled the hall. Aunt Martha, Dare's Aunt who'd looked after him and his siblings after his parents died in a plane crash, walked up to the Reverend to appease him, while Gwyneth, Dare's sister appeal to everyone to wait and that the rehearsal dinner would still hold.

Dare was almost an hour late and her heart raced. Had he changed his mind and run away? He couldn't. Could he? A look of pity came her way and her fear engulfed her.

Did Dare get cold feet? Or had he run off with a bridesmaid?

A voice reminded her that she only had one bridesmaid and it was Gwyneth.

What if he realized, a Nigerian wife wasn't the kind of wife he wanted to spend the rest of his life with?

"Hey!" Ose called and she turned to face him. His face morphed from confusion to worry at the sight of her pooling eyes.

"Hey, don't cry." He cooed and held her hands.

"What if he doesn't come?" She squeaked.

"He will. Call him. Maybe he's stuck in traffic." Ose said and pressed her phone into her hands.

"I'm scared, Ose. What if he says he doesn't love me anymore?" She whispered with her eyes filled to the brim with tears.

"Are we talking about the same Dare who came to Nigeria to woo you?" Ose asked. "And stayed for almost a year. Despite your drama and the mosquitoes and Lagos sun."

She sighed. Ose was right. He was probably stuck in traffic.

She nodded and dialled his number. It rang for a few seconds before she heard his voice.

"Babe, I'm sorry. I forgot my vows at home and had to go back for them." Dare rushed to say.

Her racing heart slowed and she smiled at Ose.

"Well, hurry up already. I almost died here thinking you got cold feet." Rosanna quipped.

"Me? Cold feet? Nah. I'll be there in a jiffy." Dare said.

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too."

She hung up and smiled at Ose.

"He had to go back home to get his vows." She told Ose, smiling.

"See."

Her calm nerves turned frazzled again when after forty-five minutes Dare didn't show up. A few guests had gone and the Reverend was already counseling her to take heart. She'd snapped at the old man.

Dare wouldn't deceive her. If he said, he was coming, he was.

Her phone vibrated in her sweaty hands and she tapped the receive button.

"Dare, where are you?" She cried, hoping his response wouldn't be along the lines of 'I'm sorry but I can't do this.'

"Ma'am," a female voice said, "the owner of this phone had an accident and's been brought to Saint Peter's Health."

"Oh my God." Rosanna cried. "Is he gonna be okay?"

The woman replied, "You'd have to come over, ma'am."

"Okay." She wheezed.

Why did this have to happen? Today of all days.

Her mother and Gwyneth and John rushed to her side, asking if she'd heard from Dare and if he was still coming.

She shook her head and said, "He had an accident. He's in Saint Peter's Health. I don't know if he's going to be okay."

"He's gonna be okay. My brother wouldn't let an accident come between you two." John, Dare's brother jived. "He loves you too much."

Rosanna sighed and stood there unable to come to terms with what was happening, while her mother and Dare's siblings tried to manage the situation.

Maybe John was right. Maybe Dare's accident wasn't so serious.

She comforted herself with those thoughts as John drove them to the hospital. She ran to the nurse's station as soon as they got to the hospital.

She asked the nurses for Alisdare Shaw and she was told he was still in the OR.

As she paced the length of the waiting room, she could only hope he was safe.

The next thing she knew she heard a woman rush in, asking for Alisdare Shaw. She turned to face the lady along with his family, only to find the look of recognition and shock on their faces.

"Madison?" Aunt Martha cried out.

The lady spun to face them.

"Ms. Davenport," the lady cried in tears and ran to hug Aunt Martha.

Who was she? She had never heard of a Madison. And she certainly couldn't have come in for the wedding. She didn't remember inviting her. And why was she crying like her husband was dead.

"It's been close to fifteen years, Maddie. What are you doing here?" The older woman asked as she pulled away from her.

"Hey, Maddie." Gwyneth greeted and hugged the lady.

"Wow, Maddie, it's so good to see you." John said and hugged her.

"It's good to see you too." She responded with a weak smile. "All of you."

Who was she? An old friend? A relative? And why was she crying like it was the end of the world?

"How did you know Dare was here?" Aunt Martha asked.

Good question. And who are you?

The lady sniveled and wheezed, "I was on the phone with him when the accident happened. And the hospital called me."

"How've you been, Madison? You and Yolanda just left without any explanations or notice. Why?" Aunt Martha asked.

Who is Yolanda?

The lady sobbed harder. "I got pregnant and Aunt Yolanda said we had to move back to Georgia so I could have my baby."

"You were pregnant?" Gwyneth cried in shock and Madison nodded.

"Dare and I have a daughter together." The lady said and Rosanna spoke for the first time.

"What?!"

The lady turned to her with the question'who are you' on her face.

"She's Dare fiancee. They were supposed to get married tomorrow." Aunt Martha answered.

The lady turned mortified.

"I am so sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen. I just needed Dare's help. Alicia needs a kidney transplant and I," she started and broke down into a fit of sobs.

"I can't afford it. I would never have come to Dare or tried to cause any problems for you," the lady said facing Rosanna, "the transplant costs close to half a million dollars and I don't have that kind of money."

A wave of vertigo hit Rosanna and she slumped.

Being hot-headed is bad on its own, but being foolishly and unreasonably so is a curse. What happened to being circumspect in such circumstances? Why take it up with Tinu when Dele was a better option? Dis Seyi mumu sha.

Episode 20 - Sijuola The Hex

"Get your stupid dog away from me!" Sijuola screamed in tears.

The Labrador retriever bit unto the hem of Sijuola's white ball-dress. Everyone knew that was her favorite dress. That was the reason she was playing in the sand wearing the Sunday-best outfit while the other children were clad in singlets and shorts.

It was a hot August afternoon and even little Seyifunmi wearing only a little panty felt the sting of the scorching sun.

The children had been chased out to play by the adults in the family house and they had been playing house until Sijuola decided she didn't like the husband she was given.

Isaac was the boy who lived next door. Everyone liked him except when he had catarrh. Isaac's catarrh was so bad, he always reeked of snot and always had thick, greenish-yellow, pooled on his philtrum.

Since Sijuola had rejected Isaac, she had been left out of the playing. Isaac was made the gateman instead and Bolanle was already the housemaid. Frustrated, she kicked a store. Unfortunately, the stone hit Sunday, the temperamental dog owned by the Aladesuyi children.

The dog had chased down Sijuola and snapped his jaws at her. Fortunately, the ragged teeth latched onto the voluminous skirt of her gown. He dragged the dress, shaking his head and widening the holes his teeth had punctured in her dress.

She shrieked in horror and the dog snarled back. She heard a rip and she howled louder.

"Help me!"

Liza ran to get Lekan, who was the Sunday whisperer.

"Get your stupid dog away from me." She cried just as Lekan came to convince Sunday to let her alone.

Lekan shouted at Sunday to let Sijuola go. Sunday released her and growled as he walked back to where he was laying before Sijuola assaulted him with a stone.

"Stupid dog." She cried as she held up her torn skirt.

"It's you that is stupid." Seyifunmi shouted back.

"Why did you kick the stone at Sunday?" Liza asked.
"You could have hurt his eye."

"And your stupid dog almost bit me. I wish it would just die."

The Aladesuyi children had been horrified at her words and had insulted her for being mean.

Unfortunately, the following day Sunday ran into the street while chasing a cat and got hit by a big jeep. Since then, everyone feared Sijuola and called her a witch.

The fear of Sijuola grew stronger when she had predicted the death of the maize Simi had planted. She was dreaded more than conjunctivitis and was avoided more than chicken pox.

Seyifunmi avoided her even more because they never got along and she didn't want to be nexton the queue knocking on heaven's door.

However, fate brought Seyifunmi and Sijuola together in the most unpalatable way.

Seyifunmi counted the ceiling boxes and drew triangles on them with her mind. Her nightmare had her scared to shut her eyes

When she had aggrieved Sijuola eight years ago, she had been pensive and waiting for the terrible thing or death that happen to her after Sijuola had cursed her to unimaginable pain.

The year went by without anything happening. Then the next and then the next. By the fourth year, she'd waved Sijuola's imprecation off a powerless and said in a fit of irrational pain. Besides, she had once heard curses only afflicted those who deserved them. Only those who sowed the wind could reap the whirlwind.

She was apparently wrong.

Her nightmare told her so. Sijuola's curse had found the way to make her feel unimaginable pain. An accident wouldn't have hurt her so much, loss of her job, even less, but losing Dele?

That would kill her alive.

She sighed as flashes of her nightmare zoomed into her mind.

She had been standing in front of the altar wearing the sweetheart necklined, ball dress she had been saving for. The church was filled to the brim with guests and the stones her mother's satellite dish gele were glistening and glittering under the fluorescent lights. Dele stood in front of her in the ivory tux she'd always imagined him in. She held his left hand and slid the platinum band on to his ring finger as she giggled the words I do.

She dropped Délé's hand and waited for him to pick hers up as the pastor read the vows out.

Dele stood passive with his eyes distant. She turned and saw what he was staring at.

Her heart trembled in fear as Tinu sashayed forward in a red mermaid dress. The slit in front of the dress exposed her honey thighs as she catwalked towards them. The wide plunging neckline barely covered Tinu's areolas.

Before she could turn back to look at Dele, he was already on his way to meet Tinu. She held onto his hand but he shook her off.

She sobbed his name to snap him out of his madness but he didn't stop till he was less than an inch away from Tinu. She grabbed the lapel of his tux and his blue rose and baby breath corsage fell to the floor and withered like a drop of water drying up on the parched dunes of the Sahara.

Tinu smashed her lips to Délé's and kissed him. No, it wasn't a kiss. She sucked his face and tongue f*cked him. The horrifying part was that Dele matched her zeal with alacrity. She heard his groans all the way from altar and her heart died.

Tinu pulled away smiling and hugged Dele. While she watched, the face that sneered at her wasn't Tinu's but the satisfied face of Sijuola.

"How does that feel?" She asked smirking. "How does it feel to lose the man you love?"

Seyifunmi sobbed as Sijuola howled in laughter.

Episode 21- Romantic Getaway.

Romantic - Korede Bello ft Tiwa Savage.

Seyifunmi stared in awe at the Rolls Royce parked at the parking lot of the hub. What was Dele up to? After she'd rolled out of bed, she'd gotten a text from Dele that he'd be sending a driver to pick her up from work and not to bother packing any clothes. The university was closed for a week and she'd be practically jobless. Dele had told her to clear her schedule for the coming week and she obliged. It wasn't like she had anything better to do.

When she imagined the car and driver, she didn't expect a Rolls-Royce and a uniformed driver. The man held open the door and she smiled and said into the plush leather seat of the vehicle.

This is going to be interesting.

She asked the man where they were heading and the man told her he was instructed not to disclose. She hummed her acquiescence.

She brought out her to call Dele to make sure she wasn't being kidnapped by a rich psychopath.

"Hello, Dele. What's going on?" She asked.

"It's a surprise." He answered.

"Just so we're clear, you sent a Rolls-Royce, right?" She asked staring at the driver's profile, committing it to memory. Just in case she had to describe her kidnapper.

"Yes."

"Okay then," she sighed in relief. "Surprise away."

"I'll see you soon. Bye." Dele said.

"Bye." She said and hung up.

She looked out the window and caught students staring at the vehicle in awe as it drove past. She smiled, wondering what Dele had planned.

She snuggled her head against the headrest as her eyes grew heavy. Who knew plush vehicles helped with sleep?

She told herself she'd only sleep for a few minutes. By the time she woke up, the driver was pulling the vehicle up into an airstrip.

She shook her head to get out of her haze and asked the driver, "Where am I?"

The man smiled and said, "At the airport."

She looked out the window and saw Délé's form clad in blue jeans and a grey cardigan with black, wayfarer shades leaning against an Audi SUV parked a few meters away from a….

Was that a private jet? When did he get the new car?

His face lit up as the driver pulled the car over. He sauntered towards the car and opened the vehicle.

"Hey beautiful." He said as he held out a hand and helped her out of the vehicle.

"Hey Ugly." She jived back beaming at him. "What's going on here?"

She squinted at him with her lips spread in a toothy grin. Her weave billowed in the wind and she pulled a couple of strands behind her ear.

"I'm whisking you away on a getaway." He said grinning.

"But I don't have any clothes and-"

"All taken care of."

"My passport? How did you-"

"I have my ways." He said smiling back at her confused face.
Seyifunmi sighed and said, "Then whisk me away, Prince Charming."

He chuckled and said, "Right this way, fair maiden."

He linked his arm with hers and led them to the private jet.

She was wowed by the opulent, ochre leather chairs and varnished Maplewood tables and paneling. Television screens were hooked up to each table. Bright, fluorescent, LED lights ran the lengths of the panels and the lights bounced off the tops of the shiny brown tables.

A long, ochre sofa sat opposite of row of chairs housing a sea of coffee brown throw pillows.

She met a dark, lean, natty woman smiling by the entrance. Her makeup was minimalist and her black, glossy weave was pulled into a tight ballerina bun. Her baby blue shirt was starched and neat pressed to a crisp. The traveler's creases on her long sleeves and collar were sharper than katana blades and her neck was covered with a navy scarf knotted to perfection. Her black, pencil skirt hugged her hips and stopped about half inch above her knees. Her long legs sheathed in dark, sheer stockings and her feet were encased in black, patent leather pumps.

Her smile seemed too cheery and didn't match her stiff outfit. She stood in a fig leave position exemplifying the ready-to serve attitude FAs in commercials had.

"Good afternoon madam. Good afternoon sir. My name is Carol and I'll be your flight attendant today." The lady greeted with an accent Seyifunmi couldn't place.

Dele tugged her stupefied form lightly and led her to the one of the tables. They sat in the chairs and soon the pilot announced take-off. The FA instructed they buckle their seatbelts and they obeyed.

Before she knew it, they were in the air and they took off their belts.

The lady returned and asked for their order.

Too much in awe to speak, Seyifunmi let Dele order for her. Carol took their orders and left them alone.

He snapped his fingers in front of her face and she snapped out of her daze. He chuckled at her reaction.

"Am I dreaming?" She whispered.

"No." He answered as Carol returned with a chiller filled with ice and a magnum of champagne. She set down two flutes in front of them and poured in the bubbly.

"Thank you." Dele said and Carol nodded and smiled.
She dropped the bottle back in the chiller and left again.

"Please, what's going on?" Seyifunmi asked with her face scrunched up in confusion. "The Rolls-Royce was already shocking. Now, a private plane. Do you own this or what? And the Audi too? Are they yours or-"

"Calm down." He said, putting an end to her rambling.

"I told you it's a getaway. Yes, I own the Rolls-Royce and the Audi. The jet as well. I inherited it from my adopted father." He said and her jaw dropped.

"W-w-w-what? H-h-how? But you, never acted like you had all this… wealth." She sputtered. He lived in an average condo. He rode old models of cars. And now he's springing up Rolls-Royces, Audis, uniformed drivers and private jets? Just how much was ElsaTech raking in?

"Well, wealth whispers." He said and lifted his glass. "To us?"

She smiled and lifted hers as well. "To us." She accepted.

He beamed back at her and took a sip of his champagne. She mirrored his actions and revelled in the taste of the champagne.

She sighed and said, "Where are we going?"

"Surprise." He answered.

She raised her brow and said, "What's the occasion?"

"Surprise."

She groaned and he laughed.

"Tell me. How was your day?" He asked reclining in his seat.

She sighed. "Same old. Damilola's transfer to the hub is grating my nerves with each passing day. I can't stand that b*itch, but she's good at her work, so I can't stand her."

Her nasty attitude was bad enough. She got proposed to by the madman that saw her worth dating and the harpy had been rubbing her lousy plated gold and twenty-five point fake diamond ring in her face.

She couldn't blame the im*becile. She had been dating Dele long before Damilola met her Mr. Right. And now, she got the ring before her.

She hissed. What was Délé's problem gan sef? Was she not wife material enough for him? Or was she more of shag and take on trips on fancy planes?

She sighed. Dele wasn't that kind of guy.

Or was he?

She wasn't exactly sure. Not since he affair with Tinu. She wasn't sure she knew him anymore.

"Hey!" He called in concern. "Why are you crying? What did Damilola say this time?" He asked frowning.

She gasped in shock and touched her face.

She was crying?

She felt a sob hit her throat as Dele wiped her tears off with his hands. The same hands he touched Tinu with.

She pulled away and broke into a fit of tears.

"Seyifunmi, what's going on?" Dele called.

"Dele, is there anything you want to tell me?" She sobbed.

He frowned in confusion.

"Seyifunmi, what are you talking about?" He reached out to touch her but she pulled away.

She couldn't imagine him touched her with the same hands he held Tinu with. Did he do all the things she loved to Tinu with those hands?

She sobbed harder as she pictured him making love to Tinu. Acid rose to throat and she did the Herculean task of gulping it down.

Why didn't she see it sooner? This trip, everything, was just an apology. Not a romantic getaway but the most distasteful apology she could think off.

"Dele, if you have something to say then say it. If you want to apologise, then do it like a man and stop hiding behind this grotesque gesture." She howled in pain.

How long had he been sleeping with her? That day she'd called him up at Tinu's place and he didn't pick on time, was it because he was busy making love to her?

She sobbed harder as the question came to her mind.

Was he just f*ucking her or he made love to her?

Was he still in love with Tinu?

Was she just he rebound girl? Something to pass the time because Tinu was married. No wonder he was so determined to get Tinu out of jail. And now she was free, there was no need for Seyifunmi.

"Oh God!" She cried in horror.

"Seyifunmi, is there something I should apologise for?" He asked.

"You won't still admit it!" She whispered shaking her head.

"Seyifunmi, I'm so confused right now." Dele said scratching his head.

"I know about your affair with Tinu." She said and rather than the look of shock and shame she expected, Dele raised a brow in confusion.

"What the f*uck are you talking about?!" Dele said with his voice going up a notch.

"Do not take that tone with me. I heard your conversation loud and clear."

"Babe, I know you're waiting for me at the hotel. I'm sorry but Seyifunmi won't leave the house and I'm running out of excuses to give her. You know I have what you want. If somebody gives you a few minutes of control, you will be doing anyhow. Your please Dele will be like music to my ears." She said mimicking his voice.

She saw realisation coat his face and her hurt deepened.

"Do you need me to go on? Or should I play it out on my Dictaphone, so you can hear what a bastard you are?" She shouted.

"I gave you four years of my life. Four years of loving you and being faithful. And this is what you do?" She shouted in tears and Dele burst into laughter.

She raised her brow as he guffawed and chortled banging his hand on the table in rib-splitting laughter.

"If you don't stop laughing, I'll break the bottle and stab you with it!" She shouted and his laughter reduced into chuckles.

He raised his head and wiped the tears away from his eyes.

"Seyifunmi Aladesuyi, you never cease to amaze me." He said still shaking with laughter. "So you can get jealous?"

"What are you saying?"

"It's such a beautiful color on you. Funny too." He said.

"Don't try to change this into what it is not. I know what I heard and-"

"Shut up and listen to my explanation of the one-sided conversation you heard."

She glared at him and kept mum.

"Tinu inherited a hotel at Badagry fro her husband and we've been working on trying to sell it off. Last week, we found a buyer who wanted to see the property. Tinu wanted me to come along and help with the negotiations. I couldn't leave the house because you'd be pestering me about how long I'd be gone and I've been busy with a project and I've been using Tinu as an excuse. So if I told you I wanted to go see Tinu again, I knew your paranoid mind would misinterprete it. Like you did now.

"Tinu was supposed to take me to a factory where I'd get coconut water for my dehydrated self. Timi said the dehydration caused the no show of the little guy down there. In return for her help, Tinu wanted me to bring her moringa leaves from the tree that grows in my compound." Dele explained.

What? That is it?

"What about the keys to the hotel room and-"

"The keys weren't room keys. They were the keys to the project I was working on." Dele said.

"Ohh!"

Her stiff spine relaxed and she melted in relief.

"Yeah. Ohh!" Dele said laughing. "I swear, you're crazy."

"Yeah, I really am. I'm sorry." She said, contrite.

"It's okay. At least, you came to me first and didn't go and pull Tinu's hair or something." Dele said, just as Carol came forward with their food.

Oh my God! What have I done?

Overdrive
Seyi's mind is working on an overdrive
Truth is, many females (I'm a female by the way) think too much just like her and over act/react to things.
Conversation, trust, giving one the benefit of doubt is always key
