JESUS IS THE BLUE PRINT FOR CHURCHES AND CAN NEVER FIT INTO CAMA ADAPTED FOR RIFA-RUGA ISLAMISATION FULANISATION AND ANARCHY.

Did you even watch the video before jumping on the quote? Christ is the foundation stone of the church but what does that have to do with obeying a law that an organization willingly put itself under? Jesus himself ( his name is exalted above all) paid the temple tax as required by the law though he was the son of God.

There is nothing in the world that says a church must be registered under the law of any country in order to be considered the church of God. Anyone who registers a church is doing so to take advantage of the benefits of the law - perpetual legal succession and freedom from corporate tax. The religious organizations owned by these Nigerian "churches' are under CAMA like regulations in the UK, USA, and Europe. Why are these laws not Islamic?

No one can ride on Jesus to advance political agenda's. Jesus does not support political parties. He has his own party and nation called the Kingdom of God.

Oppose the law if you must, oppose any party if you want but leave Jesus out of it. He ain't playing this game. Never has, never will.

How do you expect a wicked govt that is not concern about the increase in food items be thinking how to manage d church? before 2015 a mudus of rice was #250, mudus of gari #100 and now rice and gari are sold #1000 and 350 respectively and this govt is not concern about it. Let assume it is Nigeria govt who has been managing this churches do you think they can be successful as this G O. Living Faith alone have over 40,000 workforce. A govt that is not accountable in agency like EFCC, NNPC, etc want to manage the church finance.

Should that be the right question to ask at this time...

Let's see how government will oversee church income and then we can determine the level of transparency.

No going back about this...

CAMA is not only about accountability, it's a deliberate fight against the leadership of the church and the body of Christ generally. How can the government, our own government for that matter dip their hands in the church's management when we know that whatever they touch gets destroyed?

I am a Christian, call me a sheeple, but I will rather have my money spent by the GO than have the government spend my money after I've been overly taxed by the same governmentundecided

Yes it is, is about envy because the rising status of the church scares them. Any sane Christian must reject this in totality

In my own opinion, let the pastors respond themselves. When the masses are either overly taxed or oppressed, do you hear the pastors attack the govt on social media? If they claim to represent God, let God tell them what to do.

By the way, I don't care about Oyedepo or Oyakhilome rendering account for me to see. I release my tithes towards God through them willingly unlike tax I am compelled to pay.

How many account have govt rendered to me. The average project done for less than half a billion under Oyedepo and Oyakhilome goes for many many billion under govt that's fighting corruption and you expect me to want a rendering of account from a church I am not compelled to remain or forced to join? You must be deeply stúpid.

You're giving your points but spoilt it with curses, why abuse and curse?

Even the Jesus Oyedepo claims to serve said clearly that you should give unto Ceaser what is Ceaser’s and give unto God what is God’s. Oyedepo doesn’t want to be accountable.
Is the Church the government's? Giving to Ceaser there is paying tax and all that we already do as Christians. If the GO or any pastor messes up, the Church has their own way of dealing with things. The MOGs are accountable to the body of Christ and not the government, let's be real!

I think from what I read about the law, it allows government to appoint an Interim management at times it deem necessary so as to probe the activities of the church, and of course every other org in same category. I wonder why we should be so worried if things are all going right with the running of these org before the new CAMA. Maybe I am missing something. Someone should enlighten us please on exactly how the new CAMA could make this grossly different in such a way that it will inhibit the spiritual duties of the church. I do not like to rush in condemning a thing before i fully understand its motive, more so that similar laws are obtainable elsewhere. Maybe someone should put light on the motive or as the church would like to say, the interest, of the government with this law and why a spiritual body should be exempted. The comments so far have not addressed that.

Somebody reasoning well.
Re: BISHOP OYEDEPO: Is CAMA Policy Antichurch? by ecode1(m): 7:01am On Aug 25, 2020
I don't think so. This same law is also obtainable in other countries where they have branches. If they have no issue with the law elsewhere why should they have same here.

Why not? So the the bible must write it first?
Judas must have kept records and provided same when required, reason he was TREASURER.

Tell me, was MESSIAH's group registered under government? Did they have the freedom to operate like today's churches? Did MESSIAH receive money from millions of members like we see today?

We're not even talking about the young upcoming pastors everywhere whose goal in life is to have money like Pastors Oyedepo or Oyakhilome or Adeboye. Many don't even keep records, they wire the money directly into their bank accounts or put the tithes straight into their back pockets. shocked

John 12:6 (KJV) This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

Judas had free hand; Eli's sons had free hands.
Uzza tried to stabilize God's falling ark but died instantly.

Abacha died, Yaradua died.
Kyari is dead, Funtua and one other.

God does not need the help of a sinner/murderous beast in the management of His consecrated gifts.

You heathen people don't learn.
You'll learn the hard way nevertheless.

The government is not in the position to oversee religious organizations financial income and expenditures. Every fund received at the church, whether first fruit or tithe or offering, donation or development "levy" is freewill. The payer pays based on his relationship with God and his conviction. How is this the government's concern?

People shame churches all over the internet, yet, I've seen churches perform more charity than any other sect. Some churches print out their balance sheet at the end of every year, detailed, prepared by qualified professionals who has volunteered to do so.

Even in the worst case scenario, like the time a church I used to attend back then asked all members to empty their accounts to procure land for the church, is still hot enough reason to allow government's oversight. I simply left the church (More than half of us left). No noise. Some stayed without paying, some donated half of their account balance, I know some who dropped everything they had. All good.

I don't want to delve into the fact that the government in discussion is nothing to write home about. In fact, since it is coming from the "Nigerian Government" the whole agenda makes no sense.
Pray tell, which church was that you left?
And the land, was it eventually purchased?

Funds are not collected but donated willingly. The donors are continually donating knowing what the funds are used for so what is the role of an uninvited third party - the government?

Government is supposed to be in charge of everything within her domain, churches, mosque inclusive, this money donated, maybe used to distabalised the government by other foreign government or even enemy within her territory.

Government also in position to discourage NGO, not to exploit her citizens, in any form, such citizens exploited, part of them are working in that country, and perhaps with governments, such persons after being exploited by religion organizations may result to embezzlement, that's is another crime.

School for thought!

Magu anti fraud Czar, a religion fanactis! Went as far as partnership with a church to laundering money.

This how far human minds can be deceitful and dangerous. And more reason for government to involve. Its government who promulgated the law and not Buhari. One day Buhari will leave government, but regulations are their for years to come

Oga don't always take what ur GO/pastor/bishop/prophet or Imam/Alfa says. Hook line and sinker! Many a times they have ulterior motives which not necessary that it will beneficial to Christian or Muslim faith

This thread exposes the hypocrisy and stupidity of Nigerians.

They hate the church and anything against the church is very good with them.

This same people are jumping up and down this thread throwing insults on men of God and castigsting them as usual.

My only pain is those who even call themselves Christians but will ignorantly join the children of the world to spew rubbish on the church in the name of being seen to "belong". Shame, shame on yhu all!

This government is raping yhu all left, right and on all sides yhu can ever think of but can't even demand for accountability from them. These are people yhu elected and put in offices with yhur votes, but have now become yhur slave masters, how stupid y'all are!

The good news is, it doesn't matter how this CAMA plan seems exciting to yhu children of the devil, it can never stand!

Mark my word, this will bring many of yhu to yhur kneels acknowledging Christ as the Lord of lords and King of Kings.

CAMA is dead on arrival.

Everyone behind it will be put to shame soon.

Yhu all will know the kind of God will serve very soon.

Imams and sarduna of Sokoto will not speak against it because it is a sinister agenda...it is a ploy to give the control of the church to some Islamic bigot elements In the government.
They know that the reason why churches have edges above mosques is their financial capacity and their ability to create robust impact and penetrate some Muslim community with their good deeds thereby woo some of their Muslim faithful to the knowledge of Christ...
So, from that understanding, they need to create an enabling law in order to cripple the financial capabilities and capacities of churches and in order not for them to function optimally as they should...it is a strategy.....
Satanic strategy to make the work of God grounded because of lack of financial capacity...
This is hatred from the pit of hell.

Is that the law didn't pass through the national assembly,or is just an executive order that solely emanate from the presidency
