Ahaha these things can be unpredictable brodie,

The other game I played , can you believe it was that bucks first loss that prevented me from winning? cry cry
Milwaukee has made a few sharp bettors rich oh. I know a guy who's won $6,500 roughly 3m taking risks and picking the dog against Milwaukee.

Sometimes predictable is your enemy

Good rotation by Smart and JB in defending Siakam inside the paint, he is going to need multiple looks to keep him queit in this series. I love the ball movement and decision making especially on defense to force turnovers.

The Raptors play a fast break, transition offensive style and Brad has countered that with a rotation that stays with them from the moment they check the ball in from the sideline and that has taken away the transition buckets. Now, the Raptors must play half court basketball and earn every bucket. I expect Nurse to make some adjustments as the game progresses.

9 Turnovers angry
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:19pm On Aug 30, 2020
We are going to need to go deep and show the Raptors different matchups on both ends of the court to win this series.

Celtics will win this series easily.

Mehn the Celtics are deep. Smart has really taken a leap this season, he's like the prime draymond of the warriors. Smart is now truly smart grin

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 8:39pm On Aug 30, 2020
Historically, the Raptors have been poor in game one, they are not going to shoot this poorly all series and will make adjustments to ensure they are getting the transition buckets.

Come one man, the referees have to get Morris out of the game. He has been playing Doncic dirty throughout this series.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:19pm On Aug 30, 2020
Where is the leadership and voice of reason in this Clippers team? First it was M. Harrell and it took forever because Doncic stayed quiet and now Morris. They are obviously targeting this man and no one has the decency to call this crap out in the Clippers organization. This is awful!!!

Once again, it’s the J. Murray/ D. Mitchell show!
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:11am On Aug 31, 2020
Jamallllllll!!!! Okay! I see you!!!
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:21am On Aug 31, 2020
Jamal could barely speak after the game because the kid was exhausted physically and emotionally. By far the best post game interview of the bubble.

It was important for the Nuggets to reestablish Jamal as the most important player of this team. I think for a while they tried to assign that to Jokic and while he is a great passer, the Nuggets needed more than just that.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:33am On Aug 31, 2020
D. Mitchell and J. Murray once again capitalizing on both teams' awful perimeter defending.

Georgetown Town's Legendary Coach John Thompson is dead. R.I.P Coach. A.I is definitely going bananas once this news gets through to Him.

I remember growing thinking Georgetown was an HBCU and was absolutely stunned when Family members of mine who reside stateside told Me that it was actually a Preppy White Institution. That was all down to this Great Man's Legacy.

John Thompson is a legend in the history of college basketball not just because he was a pioneer for many Afrcian American coaches but what he achieved during that era. The man was fierce, intense and did not back down. I watched a documentary on him 4 years ago and was not shocked his son inherited most of his traits.

Thompson was firm, assertive and had a bad temper. You could see it in the way he trained and coached his team. You can imagine what he went through before he became the first black coach to win an NCAA championship. There are tons of stories about him and his recruitment strategies. I doubt any of these current college kids would have survived his style..It would have been termed abuse now! grin

I would hope not! There is a difference between playing hard and sending a message in this era and targeting to potentially disable a player. In the 90's this could have been okay but now? Absolutely not..I even blame the Mavs players for this..No one in the entire roster could send a similar message to the Clippers best player. I mean, touch up Kawhi with some very hard fouls like the Clippers did to Doncic..

Jimmy Butler! The Butler show! The Heat is a good defensive team.

Giannis struggled a bit. Too many turn overs did the Bucks in.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:34am On Sep 01, 2020
There's no way Giannis can be my MVP when he constantly shrinks against elite defence. It's easy to get impressive numbers in the regular season when you play the Hornets 4 times, the Knicks 4 times, Bulls 4 times, Wizards 4 times, Cavs 4 times, Hawks 4 times and Pistons 4 times.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:36am On Sep 01, 2020
The Heat are a good matchup for this Bucks rotation. They have taken away the transition offense of the Bucks which means Giannis has to play half court basketball, shoot jump shots or go to the free throw line where he struggles.

Also they are matching the Bucks with 3’s With Robinson, Hierro and Dragic while playing some very good 1:1 defense. This is not one of those loses you look at and say it’s just game one.. nooo.. this Heat team really match up well with what the Bucks are able to do alot. The Bucks have to make Giannis play under the rim, get them in early foul trouble because the Heat are matching them pretty well in most categories.
