Lol. One of the reasons you don't have to relent in prayers. grin
Why NSE sometimes decide to act anyhow is what I don't understand. Why didn't they pre-inform the public?

GTB: Still standing strong......
Access Bank is distorting UBA's price mvmt....
Zenith: The zig-zag mvmt is not unusual, not new. grin

UPL: This stock is mostly for long termers. Very good dividend payout but volume is the issue, also highly illiquid.....buying/selling high volumes could be tasking.......just my opinion.

FCMB's MM seems determined to keep the stock price going.....considering the type of bids at N2 region....... but why not key-in before it gets to N2?
Don't you think jumping in now is more of a risk?
I can remember that the same FCMB was highly emphasized here when it was around 1.50/1.55.
Anyway, one thing is that Mr. Market has a mind of its own......but I'll say, wait for some pullback cos it seems it's the MM that keeps pushing the price now. My ogas may have different opinion.
Maybe you should keep eye on Fidelity movement instead.......
am in the Bus already... just want to know if I can jump out n wait for pullback?

To whom it may concern.

The management of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has suspended trading in the shares of six companies listed on its trading platform.

As a result of this action, shareholders of the affected firms will not be able to trade the stocks of the companies at the exchange until the embargo is lifted by the NSE.

A notice to stockbrokers on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, explained that the organisations were suspended from trading their equities on the exchange because they failed to adhere to the listing rules.

Business Post gathered that the affected companies are FTN Cocoa Processors, Medview Airline, Niger Insurance, R.T. Briscoe (Nigeria), Union Dicon Salt and Capital Oil.

Okay. We don't know what FCMB is coming with in their Q2 result.
If you've made considerable profit you may sell and wait for pullback..........it's just my opinion but just follow your instinct anyway.

Sorry dear,
I forgot that its half yr reports that we are expecting. wink cheesy grin
3k drop in interim divided compared to previous yr distribution.
Looking at the report, we might as well pass some of the blame on covid-19 !! Apparently, the bank had to make donations in that line as part of its CSR.
That donation of over N4.7B was indeed one of the key contributors to the higher expense line(other OPEX in view) ...the other was the surge in remittance for contract services by over N4.8B YoY.
Those 2, together with the mark-up on impaired assets and higher admin expense, explains the ~21.7% drop in NET MARGIN despite increased NII and NFCI.
Good that NIM retains a positive track though.

Drawback? Yes, but earnings trajectory remains stable.

UBA still remains UNDERVALUED at the current mkt price.

Thank you Sir

But let's punish UBA small for not given us our 20k or increase it to 25k self..

....don't we need donations to ourselves as shareholders in this pandemic too?

Hoping UBA will come down to sub-N6 self grin grin grin
