As much as I have no direct involvement in this and have nothing to answer to, I still would probably not be able to look my reflection in the mirror if I just read & pass-by like a total stranger oblivious of what's happening.

Good evening bosses.

You bought the phone from me not umar4sure.

I bought a locked Xs max from Lizzypro for 220k with box and accessories for my client. The day I paid for the phone my client came up with a flimsy excuse and requested for refund. I had to refund him since he actually paid me for the phone for sometime and I didn’t deliver immediately. So I messaged Pheranmie privately since I’ve sold couple of phones to him before. I sold the phone to him 210k losing 10k just because I want to refund my client immediately.
I sent the phone to him and after some days almost two weeks he called me and told me the speaker is bad and I told him to go ahead and fix it I will send my own share of the cash for it. After a day or two he called me again and said his engr told him the problem is from board . Sensing this is going to become a big issue and Pheranmie is leaning towards refund which I honestly know will be a problem in my own part. I decided to tell lizzypro the new development and decided to create a group chat so that we can come to a simple solution.

In the group chat we were all leaning to the fixing part, but we were not making headway and Pheranmie for obvious reason was losing patience. I decided to contact lizzypro so that we can find solution and he told me he bought the phone from OfferUp for a non nairalander who decided to resell. And this non nairalander is not ready to refund since buyer didn’t complain till after 15 days.

I called lizzypro yesterday for a way out and he made it clear to me that raising that kind of money will be an issue for him just like it is for me and we both concluded on fixing the phone. He told me he will find someone in Osun that will fix the phone and after fixing we resell and refund Pheranmie.

We are not even asking Pheranmie to share responsibility of fixing here even though he failed to complain early enough which would have possibly allowed Lizzypro’s financier to agree to refund. And truth is Lizzypro’s financier has a point, u can’t buy a phone and after two weeks u come back and say it has a fault.
Nobody is asking Pheranmie to share responsibility here all we are saying is he should be patient we fix it and resell.

Greetings guys.
I didn't want to do this so as not to tarnish someone's image or spoil business. Times are hard and I know the importance of reputation. Nevertheless, I think I have to do this because I'm being pushed to the wall.

On the 3rd of August 2020, I purchased a laptop worth 250k from Blizzers. This laptop was 2tb hdd and 512gb ssd. When I got home, I realized the 2tb hdd wasn't accessible. I called his attention to it and he said he didn't notice, I formatted the disk after someone told me to and it became accessible. The next day I realized I had been sold a desktop. The laptop battery originally advertised to last for 5 hours lasts just 40 minutes on standby. I called and complained, Blizzers kept on insisting he didn't know about the battery as well, despite him loading some softwares on it. I contacted Kreamie and he said I should bring the issue here to be settled publicly, I decided against that so I won't ruin his reputation. I contacted Blizzers again, he said the battery issue was caused by the fake charger he gave me. He asked me to hold on till the real charger arrives. I waited and when the charger came, nothing changed. I contacted him again, he said he'd pay half of the money, I went to ask for the price in Warri where I am at the moment and they said 25k with 2k service charge. He said it's 17k in Lagos and he won't talk anymore until I come down to Lagos. I want the money for the battery or I return his laptop and take my money back.

I told you, I did not take note, you formatted the laptop and it worked.. I sold that laptop the way it came even the user previous user login details were on it as at point of sale....You were aware of that as at first point of use... I had no luxury of time to format, you formatted yourself and it was accessible.

FAKE CHARGER
I did not give you a fake charger, I have you a dell charger which was compatible since the main charger was not shipped with the laptop.
I sent the charger to you after charger arrived 10days after. I sent charger to you in Ajah and I clearly paid for dispatch. Both chargers are with you currently.

BATTERY
He said he noticed the battery isn’t effective as it should two days after I sold him the laptop, I was somehow confused on how a laptop I installed few softwares on could have a bad battery? In all honest truth I did not observe that and you don’t expect me to accept responsibility for what I wasn’t sure of...(On a particular day he chatted me up that the battery works better like an hour better than he initial claimed). To solve all this battery issue, I suggested i was gonna be responsible for half of the battery replacement, at least that’s the only solution (replacing the battery). He said he was never gonna be responsible for any part payment that I have to take full responsibility for the battery. Series of threats here and there from him coupled with loads of insults, I politely replied them all.
His insults got to a point that I had to declare to him that gadget sales doesn’t equate to 10% of monthly revenue, with which I was expecting him to calm down at least but yet he took it like was bragging at him.

All these period he was in Lagos(though he works on Sea) and we could have easily changed the battery and forget about these whole stuff but yet he was adamant that I have to take full responsibility. Since he was adamant, I had to chill cos I won’t accept that in anyway.

Few weeks later, he contacted me about changing the battery that he was currently in Delta State and the battery Replacement would cost 27k. I raised eyebrow as regards how the hell does the battery cost 27k, (though I didn’t tell him this). I kept mute though.

He contacted me today requesting what’s up about the laptop battery fees, I told him I wasn’t talking about this till he gets back to Lagos.

Even though, I still hold my stand that I did not observe the bad battery performance cos I installed a few softwares on it without charge, I yet suggested I was gonna be responsible for half of the fees for battery replacement, this guy has been adamant that I have to bear full responsibility for something I did not observe from my end. (Full payment responsibility is what I won’t take).

This guy has threatened me on several occasions, provocative massages, loads of several acts I can’t say....Though ain’t moved a bit cos Naija is a small place afterall... Almost everyone knows someone who knows someone...

Moving forward
1. I will only be responsible for half payment of the battery cost. my laptop spent 48 hours with him before his complaints, also he told me on a particular day the battery works better than he initial complained... See screenshot below
2. I will personally ask for the battery price in Computer Village before making any part payment for it.
3. I will not respond to his messages (cos his manner of approach is so so poor) till after i confirm the battery price at CV on Wednesday.

Oga blizzers sorry about the insult and the threat am sure that what brought the case here.But can we see the ad you posted partaing to this item. Because if you actually state your laptop last 5hours and it's doesn't last an hour it's simply means item didn't come as described.laptop spending 48hours with your buyer is not fair enough for you to blantantly refused taking responsibility for the battery.

A battery advertised as 5hrs backup and it's real time usage it's less that an hour is obviously a bad battery

@myphoneandi, how about sending the laptop to Blizzers in Lagos, so he confirms the battery for himself.
He(Blizzers) can't just pay for something he isn't sure of.


If the laptop gets to Lagos and the battery is indeed bad, you sold the laptop @Blizzers, and its not as advertised, I believe you should take responsibility for the battery.

Am not supposed to comment on this but i need to just to let myphoneandl change his threatening and insultive ways of handling issues. Once sold some flash drives to him, mheen its war. All manners of threat and insults. He won't even allow you to talk if you are trying to work out a solution with him. He just want you to accept his own side of the issue and make corrections with immediate effect. Not bashing him though but want him to try to dey calm down and understand say, no be only him dey in power or be officer or know person. Blizzer, please try and work out a solution for him as soon as possible. 250k is quite huge make the product get any comma. I wish you guys speedy settlement of this issue. I come in peace!

Did you really specify the battery runtime of the laptop on your ad as 5hrs?

I did specified run time was 5 hour.. Yes I did.. Though as at then there was no charger to physically test the laptop (I copied the specs online, battery hour was more than 5 hour I guess so give or take, I suggested 5 hour should be fine...,my bad)

On installation of softwares... I installed couple of softwares from MS OFFICE TO FEW ADOBE SOFTWARES...all these were clearly done on battery which took far more than 40 minutes he claims the battery lasts (note I used a dell charger to charge as I tested it to be compatible).

The problem here is this guy won’t give you space other than to call you names..... Changing the laptop charger isn’t the big deal but something i am not aware of from my own end is the big issue here...

Attached is a pic of a laptop I noticed had a bad battery which I changed for 17k( i requested for original) before sale. I even told the buyer I just changed the battery...

LOL. Boss, you saw that i didn't fight with you neither am I angry. No. All I want from you is that remove threat from trying to get an issue resolved at the initial stage. Most sellers will capitalize on this and perhaps gets the issue prolonged. I understand it's not easy for a product someone labored his hard earned money on not to meet his expectations but abeg just try do wetin I tell you. Now, you can keep calm. Blizzer will do something about your complaint as not every sellers wants his name or issue involving his name here. I pray and hope this gets resolved as soon as possible. Oga Blizzer, Abeg help us do something about this issue as soon as possible. Forget about the threat and insults. They weren't intentional. Thanks.

We all in a small space.... We all know people... By the time we all start pulling out strengths and networks, one iron will bend.. But that's not the issue here.

My prob is how does battery issue becomes a very big unresolvable issue... Am still wondering?

Like i said, i will confirm the price of the battery and get back on Wednesday after confirmation. But honestly i wont bear 100% responsibility.

Kindly find a way to get the laptop across to Blizzer, so he can test it and know what the issue is. At some point, buyer acknowledged that the battery was okay and later said otherwise, if this truly happened, then you will have to also bear some cost in changing the battery. But most importantly, let the laptop get across to blizzer so he can check and confirm things for himself. Lastly, Buyer needs to calm down about threats.
