I need some clarification please! I have done my biometric and I was told to go home after all the necessary process. No credibility interview whatsoever! Can someone tell me what is going on or are they going to call me for an interview later? Thanks in advance for responses

I think you should have because there was an instruction in the application that you should upload any previous visa but at least you've indicated it and there is nothing you can do so just hope for the best

The instruction says “you may have to” I think he’s alright with the information filled. If they need it they’d ask him to submit it in a subsequent mail

Feedback from yesterday was that interviews were suspended and applicants told to go home..They were told they would be contacted for telephone interviews if needed..seems it is ongoing today as well..

No interview at Ikeja.i was Just in and out. But expecting phone interview

The credibility interview is still there just that you won't have to do it in their office. They will call you if there is a need.

Change in government... sometime the new government might see the old government policies as stressful or unnecessary and can stylishly test to see if it adds any value or if it should be removed ... before UK never use to have any inteview . It was Theresa May who put it there as Home secretary. She put credibility inteview ,ihs fees and removed psw

Also the pandemic has not helped. Many places are short staff so the staffs who are working are stressed and tired ... body self no be fire wood

All these is just my hunch.... time will tell what direction the new government will take towards adding and removing some immigration policies and procedure.. Hopefully Ihs is removed one day , the NHS will not shut down without it after all it wasnt there until Aunty May put it and it was fine

I think 800k is sufficient for visa and IHS for those going after September for 2 years programme. The difference between current IHS and proposed IHS is more or less £500 when computed for 2 years and 4 months

My family did on the 19th. Still showing at DMC

This happened to me few weeks ago and I was rightly advised here.
All i did was to get a new passport and fresh appointment, go with both passports and make photocopies. They will collect the new passport and return the old one, they will make the neccessary correction themselves. All the best.

When my husband went for his biometrics last week, they rejected his passport because the photo was defaced and he had to do a new one.
Now he has the new one but no way to change his details..
what do we do to rectify this?
do we cancel our applications( after paying for IHS and Visa fee) or should he go with a cover letter for his new appointment?
Please @justwise, @mimilyrics and anyone with any advise or experience on this..it's urgent as his new interview date is next week monday..

I don't know how they do it but all I know is that it's better to leave the money at least till you enter the UK and if you must spend it tuition then you should have a receipt

So how will one be able to pay the 50% schools before enrollment. If one can't touch the money after getting their visa?

I thought the money was for school fees and leaving expenses.

They won’t actually track you per se. But at point of entry you’d be asked how much money you have. There are questions you’d be asked and if they don’t check out they will dig deeper.
But all in all, the money should be available to you at that point anyways.
