I think the shareholders account na your account na... That's how I filled it on mine ,tho I'm having a hard time to submit cuz people too plenty for bank

t's not same like your normal account number...

Every shareholder has an account number of the stocks with the Registrar....it's only the registrar that can give you the share account number.

I will advise you submit the e-dividend mandate form directly to the Registrars after filling your Transferree form with your stockbroker.

I have done e-dividend mandate form application directly with my bank because I have the shareholders account number specific to me . The stock I don't have the shareholder account number, I go directly to the Registrar.

Hope this helps.... smiley

Also on a different note, can I get the so called shareholder account number through my stockbroker or better still, I just submitted the completed veritas registrar e-dividend mandate through any Zenith bank near me because I saw through their website that they can be contacted through any of the over 340 Zenith bank branches, I will be grateful if anybody has use this medium before can share the experience here

The banks cannot submit your edividend mandate forms without your shareholder account number given to you by the Registrar of the stock you have, because it's required to submit it in the payment portal.

Let's see what happens from tomorrow to Friday.

My oracle is telling me that the PFAs that invested in March are carrying their Kaya after chopping both interim and final dividend with cap appreciation.
.....but prices are not falling.
Doesn't look like flight......maybe if the chartists check their own oracles too, we may have idea of what's happening.

I could remember asking the same question here when filing my form to submit.
It's not needed. Preferably fill it while attaching your passport photo and email the scanned copy to Veritas, their response is almost immediate.

Also you would need to process your CSCS transfer form with your stockbroker.

I just recieved my dividends this evening from Veritas.
Thanks for the response @Miyachi, pls help me with their email address you used and I want to ask if it was your first e-dividend mandate with them

Good evening gurus in the house, I earlier submitted my Zenith e-dividend mandate at my bank GTB today for onwards submission to Veritas registrar through the e-dmms portal, I just received a call from the bank staff demanding for my shareholder account number which he claim is required for the mandate form to be uploaded, pls I your assistance of what to do next
There's no need to fill shareholder's account number. It's been discussed here on few occasions. Shareholder's number was said to be used during the certificate issuance era.
Maybe the bank official is not familiar with how it works.
Many, including myself have never fill such colomn and the e-dividend mandate was processed without any issue.
Don't know why Veritas is still directing investors to pass thru banks for submission despite that SEC phased bank verification out.
You're supposed to submit filled form directly to the registrar for processing. It's working with some others. Even Cornerstone has changed and started receiving directly.

Thanks ma'am, I send my all the other e-dividend mandates to others registrars as you rightly advice me then through the email which they all accepted, it's only veritas that insist I either submit it through my bank or in their office which is not a option for me now

Thanks for your response ma, I have already done that in early last month and I got this reply from them "Dear Valued Shareholder,Thank you for your mail.
We acknowledge receipt of your mail. Please be informed that you are required to submit this for through your bank, for onward processing to us" does this mean they don't accept e-dividend mandate through email again" Some gurus stated then that it was because of my first mandate with them. I hereby use this medium to ask for any of Sirs or Ma's with contacts in Veritas registrar to help me out.

Have you been receiving dividend from them before, if yes? You only need to write a letter to them asking asking them to update your account with them, sign and scan it to them.

I don't think the PFA are the one selling. They are not short time players. They are most likely the ones buying.
The people likely to be selling are the FPI. They stopped the selling in march after they couldn't repatriate the proceeds of the one sold due to dollar shortage. As CBN continues to clear outstanding dollars obligations, expect more selling down from FPI...

Let me suggest 2 things to you:

1. Courier the form to Veritas.
Before then, call their customer care line, get name of one of their officers, or maybe the phone operator self, address the envelope (A4 size, don't fold the form, fill it with blue pen) to Veritas with attention of the officer boldly written on the envelope with his/her number if you can get it... as well as Veritas phone number.
* Follow up the form with phone calls till delivery. Also follow up with email.
** Think DeruggedProf shared similar experience here.

2. Give Veritas some time to accept the new rule. Afterall na dem owe gbese, let them continue to save the money for you.......that's if you're not in urgent need of it.
* After like one month, resend the mail to them afresh again.
** I did similar thing with Cornerstone.
They insisted the form should be taken to their office, so I just forgot about it. Not very long I stumbled on the mail and I just resent it afresh.....even though I'd long sold my fcmb self. cheesy
They replied and acknowledged receipt of the email and that it would be processed accordingly, unlike the previous response.

*** Make Una no vex for this epistle. wink

Amen, you won't regret it. Just buy the fundamentally sound stock at a good entry price and you are good to go. Although, you can still stick to the strategy that works well for you

Madam, pls do you know if Dangcem declared an interim dividend?

Thanks Ma'am for the amen.
I sincerely hope jijo will allow me do that...... lipsrsealed grin
.......but it's definitely a good and 'relaxed' way of investing in my opinion. smiley

No info on dangcem interim div yet.
If it's in the coy's tradition to pay, maybe you should expect something....though they recorded decline in revenue for Q2 2020.

It's okay.
Though Q2 was out since July, I've not been following their pattern of div payment.
If I come across any info on this, I'll let you know too.
