Please go to Domino's, meals bought with your dividends taste better. Remember to go with your wife and children

If the dividend is up to 40k and above, just buy a bag of 50kg rice, 20 litre of groundnut oil and tell your children that it is courtesy of Zenith bank

UBA, ZENITH and GTB interim dividends received. I plan to upgrade madams kitchen and reinvest the balance. Dividend investing also has its own benefits, it gives peace of mind.

Tell them Sir...

I cherish my peace of mind

Please, is it possible that registrars pay a part of your outstanding dividends while others are pending with them? If yes, error or technicality?

After waiting for ages and my Julius Berger dividend came through, I was paid the dividend of the exact year. I had been holding JB shares for like two years prior to that.

Any ideas please? Thanks.

Feedback is one factor that makes e-dividend processing cumbersome. You have to wait till a payment day to know if your request was successful.

You already mention them, just add Afriprud to Fidelity and Ucap. base on last dividend paid you have between 11 to 17% dividend yield.

Please I have a small question/problem regarding shares...
My dad and mom both bought shares 10,600units each at the rate of 33naira(about 340,000naira each) in 2007, and they've never for once checked it out and have never gotten any dividends whatsover ever since that time(2007)

I wish to pursue this, but I don't know if the money that will be realised will be worth my stress.
I've checked firstbanks online shareholders data base and both of their names are there so my fear of them being scammed back the has reduced considerably.
Moreso, They still have all the documents and certificates to back this up!
So great men and women in the house,
How much money am I looking at here, cos right now they've handed everything over to me this morning... They said I should do whatever I want to do with it

Anybody think it's worth fighting for and how muchmoney(range)am I looking at here if all goes well.
I want to take like two weeks off of work to pursue this

Don't see it as stress or fight it's a simple thing and it's worth doing. Currently FBN shares revolves round N5/share.

First step is to visit First registrars with your parents, their acceptable means of identification and their passport photographs because first registrars will not attend to third party in this regard except if they have changed their mode of operation. At the registrar's office, your parents will be given a DEMAT form and e-dividend mandate form, the mandate will be completed and returned to the registrar at the spot with that all outstanding dividend not older than 12 years will be paid to their bank account.

If your parents don't have a cscs account, they need to open one each with a stockbroking firm and the DEMAT form which will show the units of shares bought and accrued bonuses will be processed and domicile into their cscs account.

Since thy are transferring to you, it will be easy if you too open a cscs account with the same stockbroking firm and your parents will give a transfer/cross deal order and the whole units of FBN will be transferred to you and you take ownership immediately.

To open a cscs account with Investment One click on the link on my signature.

.....but prices are not falling.
Doesn't look like flight......maybe if the chartists check their own oracles too, we may have idea of what's happening.

FPIs determine our market movement not PFAs.

PFAs are more interested in the security of pension funds so they are more likely to be conservative. They don't determine bears.

If you superimpose the months of inflows and outflows of FPIs with the months in which we experience major bulls or bears in our exchange, it's picture perfect.

With respect to last four trading days of MTN, it's safe to conclude that PFAs are selling to FPIs hence the breakout (There has been a very strong resistance of MTN @120 for months now. Only FPIs can take the risk of a breakout above 120 not PFAs).

We will cross-check by end of this quarter when CBN releases the inflow for the month of September.
