I have some cash with me that I am not going to use soon. So I am seeking opinion of gurus in the house on the best amongst these companies shares to invest for a period of seven to eight months: WAPCO, ETI, FBNH, FIDELITY BANK and GUIENESS BREWERY. note, I will be hoping to cash out between March to May 2021. Thanks in anticipation of your opinions.
Back to this question.
* How many stocks do you plan to invest on - is it one, two or three?
* Are you targeting dividend or price appreciation?
* Why the choice of only 5 stocks?

*** For Guiness, I'll suggest you don't go there since your target is 8 mths, breweries will benefit long termers mostly.

Be a little more professional, show us some statistics, do you have data to backup ur assertions. I am not saying u are wrong though.

I knew my second paragraph might interest you since you are from a mathematical/statistical background.

All available data can be found at the CBN and our stock market sites respectively. All I needed to do what cross-check the data of FPI inflows/outflows with the bulls/bears and make my conclusion. Anyone can do it. It's public info.

Maybe you can help with a graphical representation. It's not my forte.

Thanks for the response. Dont mind me and my oversabi too. grin
As for the tithe issue, tithe paying brings blessings to those who believed in its payment.
In terms of how it assists div/price appreciation, arhhh, maybe coy owners and pastors fit answer you here............but if coy is blessed you get blessed in return sha. grin

Was referring to div investors there.
Sone short termers collect their dividends on the floor.
May buy and sell before markdown or key-in after markdown and sell when it appreciates later. grin

What about conoil

I don't think conoil is seen as penny stocks by most investors going by what is generally referred to as penny stocks in terms of share price.

pls who has the best way to contact united securities LTD.. I need an update on the status of e-dividend mandate form I submitted via their portal
United Securities now have an online e-div activation system in place, maybe you try and see if there's a section you can check status of submitted form.

I thought Veritas is one of the good ones?
Anyway, it should be easier going forward.....since they have online platform for e-div submission.
Correction @ the bolded:
It's United Capital and not Veritas.

FPIs determine our market movement not PFAs.
We will cross-check by end of this quarter when CBN releases the inflow for the month of September.
Okay thanks....though dont totally subscribe to what you said but do keep us updated.

You are referring to this link on NSE website:
http://www.nse.com.ng/market-data/other-market-information/foreign-portfolio-investment-report

Ok, I will collate the data and check for patterns later.
Also, I looked at a few months and I noticed;
1. Domestic transactions outweighs foreign transactions.
2. On the foreign transaction side outflows are higher than the inflows(July to April 2020)

Anyway, thanks for pointing me in this direction, very useful info.

You already mention them, just add Afriprud to Fidelity and Ucap. base on last dividend paid you have between 11 to 17% dividend yield.

Nah wa for this Veritas o.
I think you shouldnt give up, maybe you should send the mail with SEC in copy just like some did here.
Also, see if your broker can assist you to reach to them, they always have their person in the registrar's office.
Which broker are you using?

GTB: 26 now................seems the holdco will have positive and not negative effect on the stock.
The accumulation and resilience of the stock around this time is positive.
With renewed interest and Stanbic staying in the 40 region, GTB will close the gap small.
Think I've said this before...........based on observation of market situation.......
Pls, this is just my opinion.

WAPCO at the verge of N14 naira, gained 60kobo so far to close at N13.80 . We will ride this one to the promised land and at this rate a market price of N20 is achievable by year end. Some heavy funds definitely entered the market today. As Most Premium stocks are on green.
