Good afternoon House.

please I am still starting out the whole process. want to conclude my ECA and IELTS next month before creating a profile. However, due to the covid-19 economic impact, I just lost my job

Should I quickly request for a reference letter from my company now, or I should hold on till when jt is needed sometime next year in the course of the application.

Thanks

@teamo2

See how I am smiling from cheek to cheek as if na me collect PPR grin. I had contacted you some time ago n your response prevented me from making a bad decision.

Your victory is kind of a victory for me too.

This process is really long, just keep doing your normal job and living your normal life untill PPR comes.

PLEASE KINDLY HELP with the questions BELOW. Many thanks

PRFirstlady:

Please I’m throwing out this question. If one have been denied visa to certain countries in the past, and didn’t keep or can’t find those letters used to deny. What’s the way forward? Or could one just enter the countries denied and that’s all? Without means of evidence. Please help.

2.) if you’d applied for visiting to Canada in the past. The question in filling EE form that says if you’d applied to IRCC before

Is this question a yes or no?

Good afternoon everyone, for single moms who have gone through this process or for people who have ideas about this. (1) A friend wants to try this express entry process but she Just gave birth recently and isn’t with the baby’s father( she’s single not married) she wants to know how to go about it? She hasn’t collected her baby’s birth certificate yet and she wants to know if putting her surname on the certificate won’t have any issue with the immigration process concerning/asking about her baby’s dad??
(2) Will they ask for a consent letter from the child dad regardless of who’s surname is on the certificate? The guy isn’t in her life so she doesn’t want to even tell him anything about it, since it’s just her and her baby.
Pls so many responses will be appreciated

1.You don't need to upload any evidence for visa denial. Just respond yes and put the reason.

2.If you have applied for a visiting visa for Canada before now, then you answer Yes
Good luck

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1022&top=16. All these questions are on ircc help page. Check it out. The father must consent. If you find a way around it and he gets to find out later . He can petition the embassy and they child would have to be returned to Nigeria.

But what happens in this case where she was never married to the child's father. The child's father is not her spouse. I would have suggested that the child's birth certificate bears her own surname since there's no evidence that she's legally married. Others can weigh in too

Hello people, please I have a question about my surname and id appreciate if anyone whose migrated while bearing a different surname from their spouse can respond...or anyone that has an idea.

I'm married but I still go by my maiden name. I never had any intention of changing my name because I like it just the way it is. My new int'l passport and bank accounts after marriage all have my maiden name on them.

However, my children's birth certificates have my name written with my husband's surname because the person who did it assumed that's what I go by.

Please how best do I fix this cuz I don't want any complications due to this? I want to know if other people have managed to prove that they're a family while bearing different surnames. So that I'd know whether to just fix the error on the birth certificates or if I should just do a change of name

Both biologically and legally, he's still the child's father whether they are married or not. So I believe she still needs his consent

Good afternoon everyone, Please I need suggestion.
I am about rounding up my masters degree in Unilag as I have only my project left since January but this whole pandemic and ASUU strike is just making the whole thing tiring. I wanted to start my ECA before writing IELTS but now, my exam date is drawing closer(next month) and their is no hope of transcripts from Unilag by the end of this year.
1. Is it OK If I evaluate only my B.sc for now and still write the IELTS next month, so I enter the pool for now(my points will be about 440) and when Masters is ready maybe later next year I can update my profile(points will be about 478)? or should I just wait a little more
2. should I postpone my IELTS exam till next year because of the masters degree so i can enter the pool when all is set?

Kindly suggest. Thanks

whether married or not. The fathers consent is required. He can tell the embassy the mother prevented him from being in the baby's life or he wants his child in Nigeria. Better to settle it once and for all. Just a consent letter.

You can't rush things in this EE process, it's either you are ready or you are not ready. 440 won't get you anywhere, you need to evaluate only your highest degree (masters) which is not ready, I don't see any need evaluating your BSc.

Writing IELTS is a personal choice, just remember it has a validity period of 2 year.

Maybe you should be calming down grin grin

Please house, I need your urgent response.

1. I have a diploma from lasu, a diploma from unilag, which transmitted me into my full degree in unilag. Although I am well aware from what I have read here, that Wes classifies diploma and bsc transcript as 1 degree. Can I use my diploma in lasu as a second certificate? I made enquiries and heard it’s now being referred to as jupeb in lasu? Before I process for it to be sent to Wes, I want to verify if it will be regarding as an additional certificate.

2. Also please, if I can add this to my document being evaluated? Will I need to refill my documents on Wes platform? How do I let them know I want add an additional document?

A lady narrated her own story which was similar to this in part 7 or 8.
She needs to get the consent of the childs father before which she will then add to her application. Oyinbo people don't play with situations like this. The child taking her name shouldn't be an issue though
