If you text a girl for the first time and she doesn't know you, 90% of the time you'll get " Who gave you my number? "

But guys rarely ask. If a random girl hits you up, we'll just say " Who are you or what's your name?" And then the conversation continues.

I've never asked though. Only way I find out is when the girl decides to tell me.

So guys do you always ask the question?

Simple phone ethics demands you know how are stranger got your number irrespective of gender.... Even u fine like diamond, as long as ur a stranger, ur a stranger and I deserve a proper introduction

Not only girls, I also do that but in a polite way unlike most of the fvcking girls.



What I ask is HOW DID YOU GET MY NUMBER, not WHO GAVE YOU MY NUMBER......If she isn't ready to give me a direct answer I ignore sharpaly without giving a damn about her looks, I regard her as one less problem to worry about.

Some of us try to stay as private as possible. I think "how did you get my number" is more appropriate, that's if after the necessary introduction, you still don't have an idea who the person is.


I've resorted to avoiding such questions, cuz most times I don't get the needed reply.
But trust me, after a day or two, you won't even recall you collected a number.(You'ld get the proper definition of boring)

A guy who doesn't ask how a female stranger got his contact to initiate some convo, in this 21st century....WILL PROBABLY DIE LIKE A FOWL. The person on the other end may not be the beautiful girl you see on the profile picture. It could be a "village people", fraudster or even assassin trying to monitor you through your SM accounts. Personally, I don't woo my ladies online, neither do I accept online wooing. If we can't do our wooing offline where I can see your face as well as your body expressions, forget it.
