Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by jayzen(f): 12:38pm On Oct 01, 2020
With this latest quarantine questions, I'm thinking one will have to agree to having someone in the US. Otherwise, they might imagine you won't have a place to quarantine and probably set yourself loose upon arrival.

Thanks for sharing.

I informed my school about the I-20 thing and they told me it's no longer an issue as shown in the attached file.
If it's going to come at extra cost, should I just print the emailed one on paper please?
Although I haven't secured an appointment yet.

True! A friend of mine in Ghana got his appointment cancelled twice and his next available appointment is in May 2021. So my advice to those people who haven't gotten their i-20's yet is too chill a little, imagine shipping your i-20 and not using it at the time you suppose to. My opinion though is not to rush dollar dey on the high side o!

I don't agree with your post.
Why chill? What if they eventually get an appointment? I-20 will take about two weeks to arrive
What if you do not get it before your interview date?

I get you. But,

If that happened in Ghana, it might not necessarily happen in Nigeria. Let’s not start to create unnecessary panic. What will be, will be.

To be sincere, you are ahead of me in terms of documentation. I've not even seen an email about my updated I-20, let alone its shadow. Please permit me to leave this inquiry to the elders. They are in a better position for this esteemed suggestion. smiley
