The person inviting me sent me their passport page as supporting document however it’s a picture of the passport. The full details and the numbers at the bottom are visible but very little bit of the corners didnt enter the photo and I really don’t want to disturb them again. Can I use it like that?

Anyone willing to invite you should be willing to see the application through. Although the passport no showing, the ID of your sponsor can be traced but it's best to have the passport scanned properly as an official doc.

Please dear house, I want to know from those that have travel the available flights from UK to Lagos or Lagos to UK.Those flight that are cheaper that one can travel with. The flight prices. More so I want to confirm those flights that don't do covid-19 test check. Thank you

Hello everyone!
I just want to find out if DMC now sends refusal emails to every unsuccessful applicant or just some handpicked ones. My friend received a refusal email from DMC last week and then an email from TSL asking him to come to collect his passport. But, this afternoon, I only received a mail from TSL informing me that my passport is ready for collection (I didn't receive a refusal email prior to that). Does this indicate a success?

Sorry pls house a friend need a serious advice. I want the gurus in the house to look into it. He got a visit visa and in the course of visiting from found a British citizen got her pregnant and his Visa is gonna expire next month ending so he wants to know if he can stay with his woman and if yes will his visa status change after the child birth ?

Encourage your friend to return to Nigeria and encourage the lady to come to Nigeria to marriage him or he can return and apply for fiance visa that allow him to get married in the UK within 6months then spouse visa letter.

Overstaying that visa will compound his problem.

Having a baby with that lady as a means of staying back is not really a good idea as it will take him at least 10yrs to smell proper freedom from immigration control.

Stay positive, the fact that you did not get a refusal mail has even increased the probability that your application was successful. At which VAC did you have your biometrics done?

Good afternoon everyone, I have some questions please, I am a visual artist and a recent graduate. I have an exhibition in London at the end of the month which I intend attending for 2 weeks provided I get the visa. I have received invitation letter from the gallery, as well as from my Aunty who’ll be accommodating and feeding me. But I would bear the cost for the trip by myself. My questions are;

1) How much do I need to have in my account? Would 1.1M naira suffice for the application?
2) my brand isn’t registered yet, but I get paid for art sales and photoshoot, it’s how I make a living since I left school. Is it mandatory to have a business certificate? Or is it enough to show receipts/invoice of payments to prove where my money comes from.
3) I receive payments from 2 of my banks and save with PiggyVest, is it advisable to drop my PiggyVest bank statement and would it seem dubious if they see credit alerts from my other banks to my PiggyVest?
4) my aunt accommodating me is more like my mother’s cousin, so we don’t share the same name, but she has provided her data page, council tax and account statement as she’s a citizen of the UK.
5) will adding a landed property also help boost my application?
6) after biometrics does it mean I can’t forward money to my PiggyVest to save since I’m submitting the statement of account.

It’s my first ever application hence my passport is virgin. But can I also submit my ecowas passport alongside, it’s where I have travel stamps to several west African countries.

I’ll appreciate your kind response. Thanks

oga, he will be given two and half years "fatherly care". it doesn't take upto 6 month to get.
I have friends , family members who pass through this process. provided the lady holds British passport.
getting ilr is a process which may take upto 7-8 years but from 2and half years leave to remain he can reapply and so on.
the most important thing is having a child , once that is done, forget the rest.
the most difficult ways nowadays is marriage without child or children .
if he tries to come back they wouldn't consider his application base on past precedence. let him remain their until he gets the 2/half years before thinking about marriage or returning back otherwise sorry na him name .

Obviously you are speculating, having a baby with the hope of staying back in the UK hardly work especially when the applicant is an immigration offender. Even years ago when respect for private your right and family life was strong immigration argument, getting it under 6 months is a miracle.

Since spouse visa and laydown requirements was introduced those right for family life hardly work not even one came in with visiting visa and overstayed that visa.

If the relationship is genuine then go through the normal procedures and apply for spouse visa.

Staying back now will be the beginning of frustrating years in the UK, can't work, can't study, just stay at home while immigration solicitors milk the little he has

hahahaha, you truly don't understand how it works. the those who gets it aren't magicians either but got it within 6 months.
if you think spouse visa is the best route, have a rethink because recent laws passed by Congress was designed to frustrate applicant efforts.
am not here to post what am not sure about, for clearity sake you can email me let me contact you to more than 5 guys that got it under 6 months.
coming back home can be diecy. meanwhile if the lady accept to come along and with prayers , he may be granted especially as there is child in-between.

Congress? We don't have Congress in the UK o. Congress is US. We have parliament.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by omopapa: 10:18pm On Oct 03, 2020
Very correct, it’s called the FLR (FP) route. It’s a ten year route with 2.5 years visa granted within the period.

As long he’s registered as the father of the baby (has his name on the birth certificate), have pictures and maybe receipts to show he’s been doing his responsibility as the father. This is infact “easier” than marriage these days.

How many months' salary does this translate to? By standard, your expense for the trip shouldn't stretch over more than 2 months of your paid salary. Confirm this so you can get the advise you're looking for.
