But then, one would expect doctors to have discovered the presence of the second foetus while preparing for the delivery of the first baby.

Superfetation after 5 months? Nah, with superfetation the babies are delivered the same day. This is one of those superstories Nigerian women tell after years of barrenness. That's how one woman in my neighborhood when I was a kid brought home a baby one day which was said to have been a 7 year pregnancy. Everyone celebrated, but in hindsight, she bought the baby. If you ask me to hazard a guess, this lady bought the first set of twins or had a surrogate for them, while falling naturally pregnant with the 2nd one. . . or she bought both or surrogated both.

People probably do not know the kind of powerful hormones released by the woman’s body during labor.

Oxytocin and prostaglandins released during labor make the womb contract such that all contents of the uterus (baby, amniotic membranes, placenta) are expelled.

How then did this 3rd baby survive this powerful force of uterine contraction, remain retained and born alive after 5 whole months?
Let a term pregnancy be carried on for 3 extra weeks and see if the baby will be born alive or a small placenta tissue retained in the mother and see if she won’t come up with life threatening bleeding and/or infection.

The believers of this story are just embarrassing God.
