1. Afghanistan is a heavily clan and ethnic based society. Clan and ethnic affiliations are very strong and as such, they are taken very seriously. Girls can't even date.

2.Afghan girls don't have a free hand or free will when it comes to marriage unlike more liberal places such as Europe. Their folks usually decide who or whom they are to get hitched to. Pretty much the same in many of the countries close to Afghanistan e.g. parts of Pakistan, parts of India etc etc etc. But it is far more stricter in Afghanistan.

3. Marriages between two families are a means of cementing inter-tribal or inter-clan alliances and as such a typical Afghan would never allow his daughter to get married to a foreigner let alone when that foreigner happens to be a sub-Saharan African(aka black). Yeah, the race factor comes to play here sadly enough. They use their daughters to cement alliances. They are very valuable chips for the bargain.

4. If the girl should stubbornly decide to go ahead and marry a foreigner or someone her family does not approve of, then that is where Honour killing comes in. It is a largely nomadic society(they rear a lot of sheep), so honour is a big factor for them.
After they have 'downed' the girl, they will come after you. And they always move about with Soviet-era kalashnikovs... an Afghan is not a man without his gun.

5. As for joining the Afghan army, forget it. They have enough jobless people lining up to take those military jobs as it is the only avenue available to them to get the 'better life'. Salary is about $200 for a Jawan(equivalent to private) last time I checked. So, it is very doubtful if not outrightly impossible that a foreigner from god-knows-where would be recruited.

6. Even if they permit foreigners to join their Army, you still wouldn't stand a chance because those guys are 100× better at fighting than anyone else that you know. They have been fighting non-stop in that country since 1978/9till date.

To sum it up, choose South Ossetia instead. At least, you would stand a better chance over there. They even need more soldiers. And you don't have to convert to any other religion.
