Easternheart: If he does that, and eventually travels, won't he run into trouble with immigration during Point of entry... Lets assume he passes the point of entry interrogation, is he not required to have sufficient proof of funds before he is offered residence permit?? 1 Like |

Ge0grapher: @adedejis2 said it was for admission purpose not visa application and will repay over 2 to 3 years after getting to Norway. He asked if it was OK to dropped the said amount in his account, get the statement and then transferred the money back to the owner. I only responded to the question he asked and nothing more. However, after gaining admission, he will be required to send the amount to the Norwegian school for Visa application. |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Dumebi213: 2:01pm On Oct 15, 2020 |
temmyt20: Don't bother applying for B.sc, there aren't a lot of English programs and even if you learn the language the Norwegian authorities are not issuing permits for higher studies less than M.sc 2 Likes |

adedejis2: Best thing for you to do now is ask the person to give you his own bank statement and a sponsorship letter The school might not contact the bank to ensure the money is there because you will still be required to send the money to Norway before you apply for permit but to be on the safe side use the persons statement 2 Likes |

Hello, everyone. I've read through the pages of this thread and they are quite informative. However, I've some questions on the admission process that are opaque and would appreciate contribution from the house on them. First, how many schools is someone allowed to apply to in the admissions website in one application cycle? In addition, how many offers can one get from the central admissions website at the end of the day. In other words, can one get more than one admit letter at the end of the day where you are allowed to opt for one at your own volition? I'm asking these questions because of my experience with Swedish admissions portal, so as to avoid making mistakes with selection and ordering. Thank you. |

Zpdzpd: You may apply to as many schools as you want and you can get as much offer as you qualify for... |

ghettonews: Go to the UDI website... Every info you need about student visa is there... Also, am not so sure you book visa appointments for Norway unlike Germany... This is because you normally won't attend an interview... 1 Like |

Dumebi213: @Dumebi213, please what universities are those, if you don't mind sharing?. I studied microbiology and as noted, there are restrictions when it comes to the field of specialization. |

Easternheart: What about Bsc degree transcript. Did you send the hard copy? |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Easternheart: 3:10pm On Oct 19, 2020 |
Ufemia26: Yes, You have to send hard copies of your transcripts to all the schools you applied for. It is a key requirement for your admission application to be considered. |

If you have your official transcript copy not the student copy, then upload and be hopeful... But if you only uploaded the student copy, then you must ask your uni to send the official to your university of choice (s) 1 Like |
