Apparently.. We now live in a world where money is now exalted much more than self dignity and self worth... A case in point is the guys people have seen on blogs caught eating Excr.... With bread all for money... They endure it and feel the money is worth their person...

My approach: Bring down your head and learn as fast/much as you can then launch out.
Check yourself to see where you went wrong cos I’m pretty sure it didn’t start the very moment you were employed, be prayerful and never allow fear of the unknown to keep you grounded. Take the risk.
Above all, never underestimate the God factor in all you do.

I get you. And people won't get the titles you're using. Though Senior Associate may not be a big position in the Big 4 world, in other industries like investment banking or private equity, it's a big position that takes over 8 years (in most cases) to acquire. So no need to use titles that most people reading your write-up won't understand.

I resigned from one of the big 4s some years back because of the thick cloud of toxic ambience that always saturated the office. Well, maybe I felt that way because I was not well suited for that kind of environment as I am an introvert or perhaps I just didn't like the job since it was the complete opposite of what I studied at school... but then, more than half of the staff there were always frustrated so there is a high chance that it was not a problem from me. Spent a year at home studying and upgrading then got an overseas scholarship, came back, spent 6 months at home before getting three job offers. The one I eventually took pays twice as much as what my colleagues that remained currently earn who are perhaps senior associates at best now, but a few got offers elsewhere and are doing fatastically well so the equation is balanced.

I might not have the exact answer for you but there is definately a complex mix of variables you might need to carefully consider first before pushing the stop botton. But notwithstanding, understand that there is more to life than just earning salary. If you are on a job that you never look forward to going to the next day, then it could be a sign that it is time to leave. Consider your peace of mind and mental health.

My few thoughts - you seem really okay with 200k monthly. I honestly believe it's okay but you can do better ( people who earn 500k and above no get 2 heads).
Regarding the body shaming - I have 2 opinions to this. First, it tells so much about a person if he brings down others with words or actions. It smacks off insecurity and an inferiority complex. Change your mindset about his abuses. Do things differently; assure him with your own actions that he is 'the boss' In any case you're 'training' yourself.
Secondly, if his abuses are work related, I think you should focus on making the changes he asks for. Thanks.

I happen to know someone who quit her job in December 2019 for this same reason. She was earning about that amount as well. Sadly she's still out of employment. Being out of job for 10 months is not beans o. And I'm so sure she would be forced to put up with more shit now just to survive. Dis life no balance sha.

The guy might be doing an excellent job, but yet to the Boss eyes he would try every means possible to degrade him, and shatter his confidence.....Once the boss keeps those acts its because he doesn't want him to stay long....he feel that #200k is too much to pay a person....so the boss does everything make the dude feel he doesn't know anything.......it won't even take up to 3-4 months before the boss stylishly lays him off...in the guise that the dude is incompetent.....which is a blatant lie....off course...
So my advice his that, he should keep seeking for other avenue to make money....he should stay there for long.....,those kind of boss ruins peoples career and confidence....you might not know who will be there and be seeing him shouting at you in workplace for no just course.....

2. Talk with confidence , your boss is a just flesh and blood. Do not be afraid. God has not given you a timid spirit. Never initiate to talk to your rude boss expect necessary.
