200k isn't a well paid job, some people are having salary as much as 350k 400k, now you are paid 200k and your boss insult you, that is harassment, harassment is the personal insult and expression of disgust or intolerance towards certain people or person or race and this is punishable offense according to the labour law in nigeria, if you continue to keep that 200k job with insult, your boss will continue to issue you query and that you are incompetent in the discharge of your duty which might eventually lead to sack, so report any harassment at work place to the HR and make sure you have evidence to support your claims

Please don't give someone this kind of advice in Nigeria. This is not the abroad. The labour law in Nigeria does not do alot to protect employees. Let the guy save up or find another job, and then leave.

This your situation reminds me of the one I passed through during my 3 months internship. I got a very good company that paid me about 40k every month. I had several bosses, but there was one particular boss that made my life miserable. I hated going to work because of him. So many times, I avoided him to be with other of my bosses but still, he always found a way to look for my trouble and just be mean.

All I knew was that, he no get power reach to sack me. Because the person wey bring me senior am for the company. The person who brought me was in the head office on the island, me I was in one of the branch on the mainland.

After I did 1.5 months, I told my mum that I no dey do the internship again. I was fed up of that man. My mum no gree oo. She said I must continue whether I like the job or not . As per she dey enjoy from the money I was earning. She said she will pray that God should remove that man from me. She encouraged me to continue sha. That is how I continued.

After 2 months of working there, that man was transferred to another branch. He was in a different LGA from me. I was so grateful to God. For the remain one month, I was happy doing the job. It is not easy working under a mean boss.
