Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody:
LOL The village idiot strikes again. Now he just claimed that someone with a higher volume of shots from 3 should have a higher efficiency. That literally is the exact opposite of the truth. There's a reason when calculating stats, people only take account of people who have shot a certain amount of shots. Dwight Howard is literally shooting 60% from 3 this season. Everyone knows MJ was a bad 3 point shooter, only this clown will come and argue against it. Every single day this nigga says something that defies all logic. And we're the ones who don't know basketball?

And people always make this stupid claim about how LeBron is only efficient because he takes efficient shots? Again do people realize how dumb that is? The fact that he's able to get these efficient shots mostly unassisted is a skill on it's own. If it was so easy, everyone would do it. I keep telling you lot all this dude does is bloviate, 90% of the time he has zero idea what he's talking about.

"Bronsexuality should be against the law"

No, idiots like you talking basketball should be against the law.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:19am On Oct 14, 2020

This is why its important to keep the receipts. Every damn season they doubt him before the season starts, and then it goes back to "of course he won" when he wins. Shameless hypocrites.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:23am On Oct 14, 2020
LeBron always gets carried when he wins. LOL I just love how his name really irks a lot of people and gives them sleepless nights.

Always needs superstar contributions from teammates. Sure, sure. Keep crying. cheesy

As much as I really enjoy the LeBron vs Jordan debates. I think too much of everything gets boring,
Its like 80% of the basketball content of espn and fox sports now.

This unrepentant Bronsexual nonce strikes again. The cretin is simply too dense to understand simple logic that LeNomad literally has the shot chart of a big and so common sense dictates that his efficiency would be higher than a Shooting guard who takes majority of his shots from further out. How hard is it for this goofball to understand?

In an era where most teams are foregoing paint protectors this goofball still expects us to be in awe that a 6'8 player facing teams literally without centers is having high FG percentages. If you take 60% of your shots from 3 ft you're likely to have a high percentage dummy

And this clown does not understand that a player who takes 6 3's per game is likelier to have more margin for error than a player who shoots just two 3's. A player can go 0/2 on two attempts and wind up with 0% another (not named Ben Simmons) attempts 6 3's and goes 2/6. 33% Common sense dictates that the guy attempting 6 3's has a little more wiggle room

But when you're a simple minded and obtuse Bronsexual even the most basic of concepts is above your paygrade

Bronsexuality should be against the law grin

Lmaoooo at the two Bronsexual knobjockeys. CP3 and James Harden proved that the KD Warriors were very beatable. It literally took CP3 missing the last two games for Golden State to come back and win.

Just because your Queen was getting gentlemanly swept and his wig pushed back
by that team doesn't mean other teams didn't come extremely close to beating them. Hell even the Clippers took them to six but your Queen got waxed in 5
They weren't beatable because they didn't win that series please! And no nba team in history can defeat that KD Warrior team.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m):
I'm crying at this clown. So is that graphics supposed to be an indictment on MJ? So Pippen averaged a combined 46 more assists and steals over a 100+ game sample. I thought all MJ did was score. Why isn't the gap wider

Whereas MJ totalled almost 1,700 more points than Pippen. Bronsexuals are so shameless. Christtt grin grin

Lies. CP3 missed the last two games with the Warriors down 3-2. They could have lost!!

They were getting blown out by Kawhi and the Spurs till Zaza broke his ankle. Even the 17 Warriors beat the Spurs without Kawhi and Tony Parker.

Just because your Queen LeNomad was destroyed by the Warriors did not mean other teams couldn't beat them

LOL A40 just stop embarrassing yourself man. You know for the past two days you have been here pontificating some of the most dimwitted arguments anyone on this thread has ever made. I know it hurts man, I know it does/ You and Roland17 have been so sensitive here ever since the GOAT added another feather on his cap. I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart...

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:25pm On Oct 14, 2020
Gee, I wonder why Ben Simmons doesn't take more 3's.

LOL This man came out here and was comparing his so called "GOAT" to Ben Simmons. You love to see it.

Man, the sniveling that has been going on this thread for the past two days man! This is what makes it all the more worth it. cheesy

Lmaooooooo was he hurt on opening night as well? All these stories are for the gods! Nobody has time for it.

All summer we heard about how LeNomad would get his extended rest for the first time in a long time, he would be fresh reh reh reh. We are just in December and he's already 'hurt'

Like I said, we don't give a shyte! I saw Kawhi dominate multiple series and win a chip hobbling on one knee and barely able to elevate. Yet he led the postseason in minutes. No friggin excuses!

Lool I think you have me confused for someone else. My stand has been constant. The Lakers and Clippers are evenly matched. Y'all are the inconsistent lot that constantly try to play the underdog card. My confidence is in Kawhi not that notorious choker Paul George. Whatever he contributes in the series would be a bonus.

The Clippers will beat the Lakers in a playoff series and at that point I don't want to hear any excuses about age, refs, coaching, teammates, load management, injuries. This same confidence I want y'all to have it when Kawhi executes your washed King in GOT fashion

Lol. Form efficiency it has now changed to margin of error cheesy I wonder how someone who shoots 6 threes per game is supposed to be more efficient than someone who shoots 2. LeBron shot 59% while attempting 6 threes and MJ shot 42% while attempting 2 threes. And I'm talking overall FG% not just % from 3. How hard is it to see the flaws in that grin

LOL I wonder how many finals speights has been to. And didnt bron have a back to back?

Actually its four titles in 17 tries. Is he saying he didn't celebrate when he won his first championship? Kareem has 6 in 20 tries, MJ 6 in 15, Kobe 5 in 20.

It really hurts my brain how people assume you are only competing for a championship when you make the Finals. So in other words Giannis had a better playoffs than Butler.

Duly noted.

WeissVonner:
What about the five times LeBron was far and away the best player in the finals but came out of it with nothing to show for? The point is we don't take him as number 1, we don't even consider him better than Wilt, a guy his team beat multiple times and has fewer rings than Bill in the same era.

The biggest knock against Bron this year was he had AD. That was the argument everyone was making. You're right though, there is no definitive criteria to these awards. So stop trying to make it seem as if there is.
Even if he did not have AD he did not deserve to win it over Giannis just based on regular season stats and records. He deserved to win the FMVP and no one could argue that.

The quest to discredit Bron has turned a lot of people into apes. Seriously, do they not notice how dumb they sound making these half-witted arguments. cheesy
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:57pm On Oct 14, 2020
The Celtics should never be celebrated because they never had a three-peat, the warriors arent a great team because they never three-peated, neither are the showtime lakers.

Seriously, do these people not realize how stupid they sound?

I can vividly remember how they were all celebrating that opening day victory like the Clippers just won the chip cheesy Fast forward one year and the Lakers are champions and the Clippers are wailing in our basement.

Man literally said it's Kawhi he trusts, like Kawhi was supposed to take on LeBron and AD singlehandedly. But when PG started misbehaving in the playoffs they wanted to crucify him. These people are so inconsistent grin

Nope best record, tougher conference, less reliable supporting cast (without AD). Those stats wouldnt matter, he certainly would have won.
Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 5:00pm On Oct 14, 2020
A40:
They were down by 23 points in the 3rd quarter. With Durant. It's more likely than likely that they lose the game.

If they have a healthy Kawhi who says they don't win two or three games? Heck who says they can't win the series? Neither you or that lousy crackhead Bronsexual can prove otherwise. It will forever be one of those unknown unknowns
But MJ beating the warriors in 2017/18 is not an unknown? Also, you are right that they had a 23 pt lead but that was with 9 mins to go in the 3rd Q and 21 mins overall. We have seen LAL come back from a similar lead against a hot Denver within a shorter time frame than that. We also saw SAS lose at their own ground having led by 22 points to the same Warriors team with KD out. MJ can be the GOAT and still lose to a better team. It happened to him especially earlier in his career.

Giannis' Bucks had a better record. Tougher conference is true but Giannis' cast are equally unreliable.

PG will always be PG. But Kawhi shot 6/22 for 14 points in a game 7 after going 3-1 up. KCP can do better than that.

I didn't expect the Lakers to win it..

I was in the who will guard "Lilard and CJ" then Westbrook and harden" camp etc.

Congratulation to the Lakers..
