Who will flog the soldiers at their numerous checkpoints who even employ a civilian that will collect money on their behalf. If your car trunk is filled with load and the boot is opened even if it's slightly, you will hear the civilian haggling price with you like it's their constitutional rights. These animals are worse.

Most of us cannot accept those NONSENSICAL salaries they are paid.

You cannot beat a child and ask him not to cry.

Many people joined the police because they couldn't get the kind of job they wanted.

And many others joined just to keep collecting bribes.

Therefore, people should join these security outfits because they want to serve.

We need to change those narratives.

Infact, the both sides were carrying same AK-47 rifles, albeit to me the training on weapon handling and confidence building differentiate one from the other, This has been one of the banes of police effectiveness in our country. Police run away from armed robbers, excusing themselves that hoodlums were better armed than they were.
it is high time the Police hierarchy developed a more effective and efficient curriculum, as well as better welfare packages in line with best practices to enable them discharge their responsibilities effectively.

Criminals

It is good that they stopped the idiotic officer but one of the things that has brought us to this moment in our history, is the lack of proper structure and adherence to protocols or rules of engagement.

No one should be inflicting physical harm on anybody even criminals unless they pose imminent threat to life and safety. Arresting a law breaker should do.
