DappaD: That's why i keep telling them if they know how to preach and teach, they should go out there and deliver. Since i was born, the one and only religion i know that's fully packaged with the preaching and teaching program is none other than Jehovah's Witnesses. No religion come a bit closer! I think now i know the reason why they can't try what the JWs are doing. They're not fully competent and completely equipped like JWs who have all the tools to do the job! The GB has provided more than enough tools, tracts, magazines, brochures, books, movies coupled with training at the meetings and extra trainings for pioneers and missionaries. So it's only those who are not Jehovah's sheep that could come across all of these and still look outside, perhaps individuals who still feels there is something to make out of Satan's world! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

MaxInDHouse:who told you spirits can die? God never created spirits to die, neither will God kill them. You are not making sense, Jesus said man can only kill the body, Jesus was only put to death in the flesh. Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: The Roman soldiers only kill Jesus body nothing else, Jesus was only put to death in the flesh. If only Jesus body was killed and God did not raise his body then it means Jehovah did not raise Jesus. Because the humans can only kill the body not the soul. 1 Like |

livingchrist: JWs don't contradict one another If I hear? Within the space of one hour 01 :30 to 2:30 you easily detected the contradiction and going back and forth. I always laugh when they BRAG about others should learn from them but reality tells me they STILL consult bible commentaries of those they call FALSE CHRISTIANS even in their watchtowers. |

JESUS IS ATHEISTS' NIGHTMARE. GOD IS EVERYTHING AND HE IS YOU AND I. IF IT PLEASES GOD THAT THIS QUESTIOER WILL REMAIN ON EARTH TILL THE WORLD ENDS, NO ONE CAN THWART THAT. GOD CAN MULTIPLY, SUBTRACT AND ADD, DIVIDE AND INCREASE AS HE PLEASES. THE QUESTION OF WHETHER CHRIST RESURRECTED TO HEAVEN WHOLLY OR IN PIECES IS UNQUESTIONABLY IN THE POWER AND OMNI POTENCY OF GOD. |

livingchrist: Jesus said we should not fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul NOT spirit (take note) rather we should fear the person who can destroy both body and soul. Matthew 10:28 Jesus never said spirits can't die, he talked about soul been destroyed along with the body by God he didn't say spirit nah! |

haddeylium: The other one thought God doesn't possess the power to destroy spirits he even misconstrued spirit and soul while trying to defend his fallacy. It's obvious they don't believe in the Bible's version of creation because if they do they will know that God who was all alone in the beginning can equally destroy/kill any spirit he created with his own hands! |

MaxInDHouse: When I first noticed you (I understand that you are Maximus69) on Nairaland, I offered you an olive branch, just as I just did with DappaD. I was willing to discuss with you reasonably and respectfully. It was not long after doing that that you degenerated into the same abusive, annoying, unreasonable interlocutor that your fellow JWs on this platform are. So I quit talking to you. I have spoken with you again only when it took my fancy or when it seemed like there might be some spiritual benefit in doing so. Why you think that I actually want to have a conversation with you beats me. You clearly are not a reasonable person or a respectful one, so why do you think that I want to have a cantankerous exchange with you? I already told you that this thread is out there, so you're wasting your time telling me to "go out there." You are crossing land and sea to make converts? Great! That's your own business. If you make them sons of hell like yourself, then that's also your problem. I have no desire to be like you. I am here on Nairaland to encourage others who actually believe and respect the Bible. I do that too in my daily life. I am not looking for disciples of my own. If anyone is pleased to walk with me as I walk with the Lord, I walk with them too. That's my modus operandi. I have answered you in case my deliberate refusal to engage you has been a puzzle to you. It really is deliberate. I don't need the people I talk with here on Nairaland to like me or even agree with me. I just need them to be civil and decent. You don't know how to be either, any more than your student appears to from your story (probably proves that he is totally your student). 4 Likes |

ihedinobi2: I'm telling you authoritatively that you'll never find a single person who will share your beliefs unless you just keep quiet and let your gibberish rotten inside you. Only Jehovah's Witnesses were given the work by Jesus to make disciples in this end time, so if you choose to criticize or oppose them you will never find peace in any religious gathering because we are living in the end time when the spirit of disobedience is possessing everyone. Even in the church where you worship you'll notice that you are ashamed to mention the name of your church because you're not sure of what they're teaching you there so you can't defend what you Church teaches like Jehovah's Witnesses Organization where a JW in Africa, a JW in Australia, a JW in America, a JW in Europe, a JW in Asian and any other place all have the same line of thought regarding doctrine! haddeylium: What surprises me most is how they pick all these from different sources ranging from old village stories to Nollywood and American thriller but allow them to chat on the conclusion of what they believe, that's when you'll see them insulting, abusing and even cursing one another in the name of their Lord of confusion! 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse:so, the humans can not kill the soul, , you said nothing survives death? By omitting the Spirit Jesus already omit the spirit as what can die. So Jesus never said God will kill the spirit but rather the soul and the body. Again, Jesus commit his Spirit to God telling you Jesus spirit was intact. In addition, the bible said Jesus was killed in the flesh not Spirit, this again rules out any form of spirit death, Jesus was never killed in the spirit. In all these, you can see that resurrection only applies to Jesus flesh not his spirit. 5 Likes |

livingchrist: Those guys liking your comments should behave matured and come out with their own teachings of their churches let's put them under scrutiny. They don't need to hide behind you like unsuspecting cowards. You're not their mouthpiece. It's not as if you're saying any better thing here sef. Lol. What Jesus meant at Matthew 10:28 is that we shouldn't fear Satan/mortal men who can only kill us temporarily—because when they do so, the life-force(spirit/breath of life) is entrusted into Jehovah's hands(Ecclesiastes 12:7, Luke 23:46) and can restore it to us by means of a resurrection.(Job 14:13-15, Isaiah 26:19, John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15) BUT rather, Jesus said we should fear the One—Jehovah God—who can completely wipe out every memory of a person's existence from history by means of complete annihilation/destruction in Gehenna/lake of fire which means second death. And that means no hope of resurrection for such ones.(Revelation 20:14-15, 21:8.) See ehn, don't worry whenever you feel like ANY particular scripture from the Bible is confusing you—just ask JWs anywhere around you and they'll do the honours by giving you a dignified response. |

ihedinobi2: See, mature and reasonable men should be able to have that occasional “agree to disagree” stance when concluding their dialogues. It's not by force for either side to accept the beliefs of the other party. So with reference to the bolded, what makes you think that any of Jehovah's Witnesses want to have a conversation with you in the first place? Isn't it glaring from your recent comments today that you're just trying to get our attention? Because if you truly are satisfied with what you know and are minding your business carefully, you won't wander off into JW territory, lol, and begin hurling stones against us since nobody invited you here in the first place. 2 Likes |

livingchrist: I have quoted God's word regarding the spirit Jesus committed into his father's hand but if you don't agree no wahala, go out there and make disciples for your God. We know the disciples of our own Master, Lord and King through one single feature ~ they are ever ready to listen and agree with one another on sacred matters. So if you and i disagree it simply means we are not worshipers of the same God, Period! |
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by MaxInDHouse(m): 6:35am On Oct 17, 2020 |
DappaD: They caused their own misfortune! Jesus is the vine(tree) Jehovah is the one who planted the vine, the Apostles are the branches and the Christian congregations are the fruit! John 15:1-10 Whoever missed a single aspect of these setting can never be a Christian, such a person will just continue to wander around in different religious beliefs. This means for one to become a bonafide member of the Christian congregation you must subject yourself to this arrangement as Jehovah is the overall head, Jesus (under his father's authority) heads the congregation, the Apostles are Jesus' delegates working round the clock to cater for the spiritual well being of the whole body (congregation). Therefore if each person feels he could connect directly to either Jehovah or Jesus without first subjecting to the teachings of the Apostles then the whole arrangement will be shattered, this is what Jesus meant when he said those who refused to remain in that arrangement will be scattered {Luke 11:23} of course each member of the Christian congregation is an imperfect son of Adam so there is bound to be errors but as a Body with Jesus leading us in the spirit each one is readjusted when the need arises! Galatians 2:11-14 What baffles all these unbelievers is how JWs easily correct, readjust one another as if the one talking is superior to the one taking correction, so they're puzzled because that's impossible in their own midst, they will rather continue to argue, insult, abuse and even curse one another and by the end of the day because they want to criticize JWs they'll hypocritically call themselves "brother" We are Jehovah's Witnesses! We know that JEHOVAH is our God and Jesus is the son who is now a mighty spirit King directing his organization, the one and only little group Jesus is using to dispense spiritual food to all of us today is the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, so if Maximus makes a statement that seems strange to any of JWs the first thing is to contact other brothers regarding the latest understanding on the matter before arguing at all because we all agreed that whatever the GB says is the final. Whoever can't subject himself/herself to this arrangement can try all other religions on planet earth, i'm 100% certain that such a person will never find a single person with whom he/she can share the same line of thought on sacred matters the way over 8,700,000 members of JWs are unitedly worshiping God in spirit and truth globally! johnw47: Dear Evangelist Johnw47! How i wish you and your brother in Christ Evangelist MuttleyLaff resolve the issue causing arguements, abuses, insults and curses between the two of you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ whom both of you claims to be your PERSONAL Lord and Saviour before coming after Maximus. Because even though i may sound mad to you i and my own brothers in JW are inseparably worshiping our own God with LOVE {John 13:34-35} JOY {Luke 10:17} and PEACE! John 14:27 So try to reconcile with your brother first nah before coming to correct Jehovah's Witnesses!

Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by livingchrist: 7:18am On Oct 17, 2020 |
DappaD:I cant help you pain, deal with it. So after all these many talks, death is not total annihilation, something survives death, interesting. I thought your friend said nothing survives death, that when a man dies everything about him go out of existence so what is Jehovah destroying again in the lake of fire? But again, you summersualted by saying the spirit of man survives death, good! So the spirit of Jesus did not die right? So what died when Jesus died? The jargons you wrote there does not even come close. Human being can only kill the body not soul, so Jesus body died not his soul right? So therefore it is the body that experiences resurrection. I m sure you are drunk, jehovah witness dont know Jack about the bible, it should be the other way round, humble yourselves and go to real church to learn. 3 Likes |

MaxInDHouse:"I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ." - 2 Corinthians 11:3 Snake is still a snake, no matter how many maximum or not maximum times, a snake sheds its skin, it will always be a snake. Not all snakes are legless, some have two legs, have an upright posture and appear in human form, hiding under human skins, so look where you step, for snakes among sweet flowers creep, because as you search for green pasture, remember its best habitat for such green snakes as these, lmso. |
