haddeylium: Only a JW can speak boldly when it comes to scrutiny of doctrines because we are the only group that members can defend his beliefs and confidently refer you to other members in any continent on planet earth. Try that with any other group, you'll be shocked that Pastors under the same religious group don't believe/teach the same thing! 2 Likes |

Ihedinobi3: No wahala, just know that JWs believe we are the only group authorised to preach and teach. So if you think you know better we'll advice you to go out there preach and teach your neighbours , we only attend to those who want to learn from us {Matthew 10:6} there is no time to waste on unnecessary arguments. If you know you're loaded with the knowledge of God, go out there to preach and teach your neighbours what you know. PERIOD! 1 Like 1 Share |

DappaD: I don't think that you and I have any disagreement over the idea that we don't worship the same God. I totally agree with you that your god is not the same as my God. But you do claim that he is the true God and you base that claim on the Bible, so you don't have the right to say that it isn't my business when you do. I have told you before, and although I know that you don't believe me, I'll say it again: I know what you Jehovah's Witnesses teach. So unless you think I have the wrong ideas about you, I don't need you to teach me JW doctrines. I know what they are and I reject them. 1 Like |

Ihedinobi3: And so what? What makes you special? Are you the first person to know what JWs teach? Will you be the last? I don't care/want to know or learn what you believe in since I'm quite satisfied with what I know according to the Bible. So if you like, use this your silly stand of “I already know what JWs teach, you can't tell me what they teach” Na you e concern. |
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by MaxInDHouse(m): 2:14pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
DappaD: He knows what JWs teach and he wants to reject it, that's fine. The fact that over 8,700,000 individuals from different races under the heavens knew the same thing and dedicated their lives to preaching and teaching JWs beliefs in their neighbourhood is enough for JWs. Is that not why we are asking them to present the name of their religion so we can observe if there is any unique teaching binding them together as one like Jehovah's Witnesses? |

MaxInDHouse: The challenge is already before him. He's a low-budget pastor according to him so let him invite to NL one or two of his church members he has seen face-to-face let us see whether they can all agree on one teaching. |

haddeylium: I've never seen it in the Bible that individual Israelites were delivered because of their association with the nation of Israel. I know that God promised Abraham that He would bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him, and I know that He treats even unbelieving Israelites specially because they are Israelites, but the Lord has in fact been harder on Israelites than on Gentiles in the matter of holiness. Unbelieving Israelites were supposed to be stoned to death according to the Law of Moses. And when Israel did not follow that Law, the Lord still destroyed very many Israelites who sinned against him, beginning from the Exodus until the final deportation from the Land of Israel. So, I am pretty sure that you are wrong about that bit. Being part of an organization does not grant or prove salvation. In fact, it's the opposite: when you're saved, you become part of the organization that is blessed by the Lord, the Church, the Israel of God. Only by the individual's free will exercise of faith in Jesus Christ Who is God that became Man to die for our sins is anyone saved, just as the whole Bible teaches. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18 (NKJV) I do share fellowship with a group of fellow believers scattered around the world too, but we are not a church in the traditional sense. We are a church only in the sense of believers who gather together to encourage one another in Christ. I have said all that elsewhere and many times over. The pastor-teacher under whose ministry we are all growing spiritually and also being trained as pastor-teachers (for those of us who have the gift) is at https://ichthys.com. Some of us there also hang out at www.bibleacademyonline.com, which is an independent pastor-teaching ministry that is of very common cause with the Ichthys ministry too. So, no, I don't believe that being part of any organization here on earth saves anybody. I don't see that in the Bible. Interestingly, all cults, including the Roman Catholic Church that your church hates too, believe the same madness. The Bible teaches that we each individually choose whether we want to be saved or not. Joining an organization is not how it teaches that that choice must be exercised either. It is only exercised by a conscious choice to trust in and submit to the Jesus revealed in the Bible. 2 Likes |

DappaD: As I said, liars will keep on deceiving and being deceived. I obviously said that I didn't want to talk to him if he was going to remain abusive. And I choose to speak to him if it suits me to do so or not. I simply will not engage in meaningless exchanges of insults and banalities with him. I said that I'm a pastor-teacher, not the/a leader of a cult, right? And a pastor-teacher does not necessarily have a "church." I am responsible by my gifting and ministry to explain the Bible to anyone who will listen to me or who may be benefited when I do in a given context, not to capture people and turn them into mindless slaves to everything I say. 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: As I said, believe whatever you want. Your conviction that it is true will not make it true, and I don't have to make it my business that you do or don't. As for going out there, I think I have answered that nonsense plenty enough times already. |

Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by Depsui(m): 4:46pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
DappaD: You're the second person to reference nollywood. Do you people learn about scriptures from movies? About my post Philippians 1:22-24 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Paul here was saying that HE wanted to leave his flesh(body) and go to be with the Lord. But it was more needful for them if HE still abides in the flesh(body) The "I" in passage therefore cannot be his body because he wanted to leave his flesh to go and be with the Lord. The "I" is talking about his spirit, which is where the Holy Spirit is( when you get saved) 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: I would be honestly impressed if that was portrayed in a nollywood movie. Most Christians don't even know it. Please, tell me the title of the movie |
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by DappaD: 4:56pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
Depsui: MaxInDHouse has already exposed your erroneous interpretation. What more do you want? If there is a spirit exists inside a human being, then why did apostle Paul say at 1Corinthians 15:46 that “What is spiritual is NOT first. What is physical[natural] is first, and afterward what is spiritual.” ? Did he mix up the two? Why are you doing so now? |

MaxInDHouse: Man is a spirit Act 17:16 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to Idolatry. Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 2Co 2:13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia. All this verses clearly states that the spirit is different from the body and soul. If you meditate on them, you'll also realise that its not just a life force or whatever you think it is. 1 Like |

Depsui: Psalms 146:4; Ecclesiastes 3:19-20, 12:7 All spoke about the spirit in humans as the same spirit in animals, it's just the life force actuating a living being! Genesis 2:7 So at death this life force can only be reactivated by God who sparked it that's all! But thinking something survives after a creature dies is just like saying "you will not REALLY die" {Genesis 3:4} now we all know that Adam is dead and will never come back! |

DappaD: That's talking about a different thing entirely. We have a physical body now, after resurrection we will have a spiritual body. But our spirits will never die |
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by DappaD: 5:29pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
Depsui: Lol so 1Corinthians 15:46 exposed your faulty doctrine so you're trying to discard the Scriptures. It's fine. |

Depsui: You TV set, Music player, Air Conditioner, Watching Machine, Blender, Electric Iron, Fan and other electronic equipments all have different bodies and functions but the same SPIRIT brings them all to life~ Electricity That's how the spirit activating all creatures work, so no creature is greater than another in this regard! Ecclesiastes 3:19-29 |
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by DappaD: 5:34pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
Assumptions? Far from that. Are you aware that Moses foretold the coming of Jesus as a prophet, just like how he[Moses] was one? Please read Deuteronomy 18:15,18 and compare with Luke 7:16, John 7:40, Acts 3:22 Moses went on a 40-day sojourn on Mount Sinai(Exodus 34:28) where he got the Ten Commandments from Jehovah's angel(Galatians 3:19)/Jesus remained in the wilderness for 40days and 40nights and it's likely that he got instructions from Jehovah on those days. (Matthew 4:1-2) Through God's holy spirit, Moses performed miraculous works which Jesus also did.(Exodus 14:21/Matthew 9:35) Moses set the sons of Israel free from captivity in Egypt(Exodus 12:37). Jesus came to 1. release the lost sheep in the house of Israel from spiritual captivity.(Matthew 15:24, Luke 4:18) 2. set obedient mankind free from enslavement to sin and death by means of a ransom sacrifice.(Matthew 20:28, Hebrews 10:12-18) After the death of Moses, his body was not recovered because Jehovah removed it.(Deuteronomy 34:6-7) so if you can find out what happened to Moses' body, you can also know what happened to Jesus' fleshly body. |
