I think they temporarily took human form.

haddeylium:

Jesus said Spirit has no flesh or bones.. They're are invisible.

How did Abraham recognized the spirit angels that ate with them as Man?

I think they temporarily took human form.

That was exactly what Jesus (Michael) did after resurrection!
He temporarily took human form to prove that he is now alive again not his former body.
That's why his disciples who knew him so well couldn't recognize him by appearance again, they only sensed it's him through actions! Luke 24:13-32; John 20:14-16, 21:4-12
So Jesus had to do this because his former body has been taken away by the angels they saw at the tomb {Mark 16:5; Luke 24:4; John 20:12} just as angels took away Moses's body! Jude 9
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by Ndipe(m): 6:22am On Oct 18
Jesus Christ is not Michael. Read the Holy Bible again. Michael is an arch-angel while Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Please read this: "But when the archangel Michael contended with the Devil and disputed about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a condemnation of slander against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (Jude 9). Note, Michael did not rebuke the devil.

Then read this,

"Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.' " Then the Devil left Him, and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him (Matthew 4:10,11).

In other words, while Michael did not rebuke the devil, during the temptation, He, Jesus Christ, rebuked the devil.

Secondly, read this in Hebrews 1:5

For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?

Those Biblical verses clearly shows that Jesus Christ is not the archangel, Michael.

I'm sorry to have overestimated you, i forgot you are not one of our Bible Students! undecided
OK so out of all i typed there the only point that you feel is wrong is Michael being Jesus, shey? undecided

Leave that one inside the cooler for now, we will treat it later, so Jesus' former body was taken away by the angels after he got back to life as a mighty spirit being!

Whether you overestimated or underestimated me is not the issue. The matter is for us to learn and imbibe the Holy scriptures in our lives instead of puffing up that we are better or more knowledgeable than others because their views run contrary to ours.

Well let me tell you that Jesus is the same angel Michael!
Though it's somehow difficult for someone who doesn't believe we know more than him to grasp it but i'll present my own evidence!

First of all Jesus was one of God's sons that makes him equal to angels because God's word call angels the sons of God! Genesis 6:1; Job 1:6, 38:7

Secondly Jesus was the only person referred to as Prince in heaven {Isaiah 9:6} and Michael was also referred to as Prince! Daniel 12:1

Thirdly Jesus was said to be the Chief commander of God's armies in heaven the same position Michael occupied! Matthew 25:31; Revelations 12:7

Lastly the voice of the person that will raise the dead is the archangel's which is Jesus' voice! 1Thessalonians 4:16 compare to John 6:44

The Bible book of Hebrew 1:6 has a deeper meaning than what most of you do quote it for. Angels are surely God's sons {Job 38:7} but the import of Hebrew 1:6 is God did not introduce any angel to us as his son so we shouldn't be deceived when an angel appear to us telling us something contrary to the instructions given by Jesus (the one and only person God introduced to mankind as his son) Matthew 17:5 compare to Galatians 1:8 smiley

Jesus Christ is God's only Begotten Son and that makes Him distinct from the rest of the angels. He is superior, way way higher than the angels according to this Biblical verse, "Having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they."
–Hebrews 1:4

Exactly!
Jesus was resurrected as a spirit (1 pet 3:18) with a spiritual body (1 cor 15:44,45).
So, he's invisible to human eyes.
To be visible, he had materialized and took the human form like the Angels did temporarily. But, his nature is still as Spirit being!

As a spirit creature, That is why, he was able to appear and disappear suddenly and quickly. (Luke 24:31; John 20:19)
He took the body of man with scars to strengthen Thomas faith.

Jesus is a glorious spirit person ruling as King in heaven!

Jesus Christ is God's only Begotten Son and that is distinct from the rest of them.

The bolded simply means the only creature God single-handedly made by himself {Proverbs 8:22 compare to Colossians 1:15-16} after God created Jesus they both spent lots of time together before God began instructing Jesus on how the remaining creation work will go {Proverbs 8:30} after the creation of heaven we found out in the Bible book of Genesis that God was instructing someone on what to do until the earth was fully established, that's the import of the phrase "let there be this or that" and after Jesus has done exactly what God asked him to do, God still inspect each of the work to verify its perfectness! Genesis 1:4,31
That's why Jesus could control all the forces of nature that we know today {Matthew 8:27} because he was the engineer God used to make it all so he can control them all! smiley

He said he wants to SCRUTINIZE what others believe. I am wondering what has he been doing all this while? Words are typed, they don't process it properly before sending it out. When it backfires the tune changed into something else. Like I told one of his brother here. What do you want to scrutinize in what he and his organization already called FALSE CHRISTIANS and FALSE TEACHINGS. It is the same false teachings they source materials from. Same false teachers explained Scriptures they cited themselves grin grin grin grin

What was the outcome.......

Jesus is a Jehovah's witness too (Revelation 3:14)
He bear thorough witness of this name (Jo 18:37)

In Christ imitation as a genuine followers, we're bearing witness of God's name 'Jehovah' as a Jehovah's witnesses

@2.
Jesus died after he breathed out what God gave Adam @ Genesis2:7

Read marked portion of this Screenshots and Learn grin grin
Atleast you see that Jesus spirit survives death.

You are not serious grin, you think the breath of life is breeze?
The breath of life was used in metaphorical way to enable us relate with it using our physical breath.

The breath of life is what God used in creating the spirit of man,
It is what enables the spirit of man to stay in the body.
It does not mean the breath of life is actually the spirit of man.
The book of proverb says man and animals have the one breath but their spirits are different.

grin read what Daniel has to say concerning his spirit.

Daniel 2:3
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

Daniel 7:15
I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

grin
1. The spirit of man do have experience for daniel was troubled in his spirit.
2.The spirit is in the midst of the body[/b

3. The spirit experience grief

Unlike the breath of life which activates life and is metaphorically said to be in [b]the nostrils

grin

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Of course.
They know God's name as Jehovah and they use it frequently(Ge 4:1, 26; 14:22; 27:27; 28:16)
At that time people began calling on the name of Jehovah(Gen 4:26)
People have been calling on the name of Jehovah since the time of Adam.
But these patriarch before Moses dont have the opportunity to appreciate the full meaning and implications of his personal name, 'Jehovah'(Ex 6:3)
the Israelites came to know God’s name in a new sense. Jehovah had become their Deliverer as his name suggests I'll become what I'll become . He became a Deliverer to delivered Israelites from Egypt wink(Exodus 6:2, 3

He came in the name of his Father 'Jehovah('John 5:43; 10:25.)

John 17:26- I have made your name known to them and will make it known,a so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them

Jesus made God's name known to people as part of his main ministry on Earth

None of the people in heaven came into world as a man to die for our sins. So that sets Jesus Christ apart from everyone else in heaven.

How is Jesus set apart ? Can I get your definition of spiritual body ?
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by Barristter07: 8:41pm On Oct 18
livingchrist:

Yes God is Spirit but a different spirit from that of angels.

Jesus said he had flesh and bones which spirits do not have.

Jesus is both man and God, so Jesus has both God's nature and human nature in one.

That Jesus has a human nature is clear from the bible
1. Jesus said so
2. Jesus is the High priest, ( spirits cannot be an high priest because an high priest must be from the same people, having same nature)
3. Resurrection only applies to the body not the spirit. Jesus did not die as a spirit so can not be resurrected as a spirit as what dies is not the spirit but body, now if you say Jesus wasnt resurrected on his body then there was no resurrection at all.

1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Christ wasnt put to death in the spirit but in the flesh, since resurrection means restoring, then it would only mean Jesus was restored with a human body since what was killed was his flesh so what would be restored is his body.

This is from the bible, Jesus died in the flesh but was made alive through the spirit as a human but more of a spiritual man than physical.

Define a spiritual body please
