If its GTB you're using, you can download a soft copy of the statement from your internet banking which comes pre-stamped and signed and is accepted by the UK High Commission, so you just upload it om the TLS document upload page and that saves you the stress of scanning a hard copy.

If you go to the bank to print a statement that's the same thing they will issue to you, the pre-stamped and signed copy that you can get from your internet banking; GTB doesn't stamp and sign each page manually anymore.
I doubt if it is the same. What i downloaded online doesn’t have total transactions like total debit and credit. I really need that because the current closing balance is low.

The initial advisory said 48hrs, so I guess they will evaluate the situation this weekend and issue an update before Monday.

The statement generated online shows all debits and credits and narrations and it's exactly the same thing you can get from your internet banking that you'll get in the banking hall. I have used this for visas twice this year so far.

Go to your internet banking and check the menu options carefully, then click on "Account Statement" on the left and generate and export a pdf file for the account in question for the dates you want.

Sorry if my response came off as supporting the ECO, clearly i wasn't. I gave my opinion based on the popular belief that a bank statement is valid for 30days from the day of printing.
hello sir, there is something bordering my mind , pls do I have to include 14days of covid 19 isolation when calculating the travel expenses or one should just calculate the 7days of the visit to UK. Because if I have calculated the 14days with 7days , the expenses will be more than the 2× of my disposable income? Expecting your valuable response. Thanks

Most of us here who have applied recently did not include the 14days for quarantine. You shld only be concerned with your proposed no of days in your application.

Small suggestion
Buy btc with £
Sell it for ₦
Withdraw your ₦ into a Nigerian account
Exchange rate well above ₦550 per 1£

You can do this on any cryptocurrency exchange like binance

My guess is if they start attending to people from the 28th, one can also drop by for collection then.

You need to proof that you will come back to Nigeria. Do you have a course of study? A business you run? Family members in Nigeria etc. 20-30k weekly is abt 80-120k per month. Is this regular? Or just once in a while? Is it cash in hand or deposit to account. A lot of factors to consider.

So sorry.. I had many family issues to sort out.. I’ve just decided to submit my application.. I started a job at an event and fashion house in July and I get over 280000 as monthly salary, no side hustle except for rent payments made to my account by my dad’s tenants..
I’m trying to put in an application for November to visit my fiancé who is a citizen of Uk and has all the required documents..All expenses would be handled by him.. I’m a bit nervous and I need help on other things to put in check before applying ..

Good afternoon house ,
I earlier planned to go for a spouse/fiancee visa
Covid-19 ruined it all , best option for me now is to get a 2years visit visa , I have about 1.4m is it advisable to add a pension statement to support ? Cos I used a statement of about 2m when I applied for 6months .

You can only use your pension statement as support document but not to be used to support balance you have in your normal SOS. The pension is fixed until u are 50 years. So the ECO will not use it to evaluate your financial circumstances in applying for tourist visa.

The 1.4M in your closing balance is enough for you to make application so far your budget is 500k and some left in your account to show you have some thing to fall back when u return from y trip.

Okay thanks , I have a business account tho but the inflow is very unstable , so I don't want to add that atall

Dear All, please I need help regarding my application. I am a bit confused under the Income and expenditure section, what do they mean by the Total amount of money that you get in a year? Is it just the income I make from the investment yearly or do I need to add the total amount of my salary for the year?

Please find the attached for your perusal.

Total income. Total of everything you make in a year that you can show supporting documents for.
