MBA forex may not have started as a ponzi, it has no choice than to result to ponzi in order to sustain investors confidence, when you payout money you did not make with other peoples money, what is that called? which forex company makes 15% consistently without a losing month? they suffer more losses by paying out money to investors, making people see them as forex gods, unfortunately trading never works that way. The claim they have reserved with several brokers, which broker give traders reserve? how is the reserve generated, Many unanswered questions. having an office so beautifully arrange to paint an all is well condition does not mean all is well, every investment has risk, the investors should be aware that they stand a chance to lose 100% when they company gives a 100% guarantee on capital and profit.

Do you believe in forex trading?
If the aboki people can trade forex on the road and make money, why are you against a firm that has publicly declared they trade forex and various commodities including stocks to make profits.

Google forex trade.
Compare ponzi scheme.
Then find out how much one can make if he is really good.

Actually, seasoned disciplined traders can make way much more than the 10/15% returns these firms pay out monthly.
Unlike the stocks we can't short here, one can trade either way in FOREX so 50% tanking could be 50% profit for who is trading that direction.

Point is no one is looking at these organizations books though to know if they are actually doing what they claim to be doing let alone regulating their businesses and that is just about the major fear in investing there.

Good businesses do turn rogue even in the face of max regulatory searchlights beamed on them not to talk of these ones that are freewheeling.

As they always advise in these kinda things, if your longathroat cannot be reined in, invest what you can afford to lose cos harmattan and rainstorm fit come together.
Is forex lucrative

I don't see it as high risk. Because chances of loosing your capital is low, or at best medium.

Why una dey like to take panadol for another man headache ? There's no investment or business that's risk free. Investment is about losing money and making money. I don't think it's a big deal If MBA and BARA crashes and people lose money. You guys are always quick to mention how much people lost in MMM but fail to tell us how much money people made in the same MMM. Sometime in 2007, I investment in Afribank shares and today, with all their government approvals and certifications, the money is gone. I am left with only the useless certificate. And that's what investment is all about.

OP, you remind me of my erstwhile best friend, Chijioke (curse be upon him) who is now my worst enemy that discouraged me from buying Bitcoin when it was cheap some years ago. He's a poor man whose fear of losing money is stronger than his desire of breaking out of poverty.

Ignoramus, Nigeria neither regulates the FX trading market nor its players

Many MBA supporters are naturally abusive and uncommonly acerbic to dissenting opinion news because they know it's a Ponzi scheme, which will crash if no new 'victims' come and join. If MBA Forex was actually investing and making the guaranteed returns, they shouldn't care what anyone says about their happy clappy world.

SEC has this year already declared MBA Forex as a Ponzi Scheme ... https://sec.gov.ng/activities-of-unlawful-market-operators/

To answer the question ... SEC does not regulate the FX market just as it does not regulate leather trading as as example. But, if I am collecting investments from the general public to participate in the leather trading market, I must register with the SEC to ensure:

- I am actually investing in the leather market, not groundnut
- I publish my accounts and trading statements showing how where guaranteed returns are paid from
- Client accounts are separate from my own personal account and I can't dip into them at will
- I am open to periodic audits to make sure I keep within these rules

and, oh ...

- I pay my taxes.

None of this with MBA Forex. To their investors, it is a 'black box' , based on blind faith (or Greed!). They hope or believe one guy, in one room in Portharcout, is making returns far in excess of the most sophisticated currency hedge funds. And, he is magnanimous enough to invite them in to benefit, as long as they give him their money.

Make that man the President already, lol

a firm can not come on air and said i am trading forex, invest your money on forex. forex is high risk business. that need your money and time to known. items of knownledge and education must special skill that lead to edge. try to use that money you want and intend given it mba forex use it to educate yourself on forex trade. learn to do it on forex. stop investing on mba forex and given people money to invest for you is very risk more than forex.

-I invested in 2008 Multiple bank share and lost more than 2m.
-Some later invested in MMM, some gain and some loss.
-Some invested their money in shops and warehouses and lost their money during #Endsars protest.

My conclusion is, stop drinking Panadol for another person's headache.
No business is there without risk.

No Risk, No Gain.

I have known about MBA for over a year and never invested a dime up till now.

I know someone who have been cashing out over 750k since then.

If he had used the money to start a business, there's no guarantee that it will be successful.

As a matter of fact, statistics shows that 95% of business fail after 5 years.

I'm very sure the OP did not bring up this topic to warn innocent Nigerians. He only did it out of selfish interest. Either he's not happy that the system is still paying up till now or he have no money to invest.

Life is all about risk. Nothing is guaranteed in this life.
This #Endsars program have taught so many of us lessons. Many shops were burnt, so many people will loose their jobs.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Whatever people use their money to do should not be your own problem.
