in a year like 2020, it's understandable for Apple to lose its position because most people nowadays will rather buy a midrange or flagship killer smartphone than actually spent over a $1000 on a flagship which is predominantly where Apple marketshares falls in.
One of the reason why the IPhone 12 lineup retains last year prices and early reports shows the phone is in more demands than last year iPhone 11.
