Dear Sheezybobby,

Are your parents refusing to sponsor your relocation plans?

If yes, then I will advise you work with their own plans and gather some good amount of money for a year or two, then finance your trip by yourself if you still intend to fulfil that wish.

By the way, I am looking for that immigration job as well but no CONNECTION, if you can help CONNECT me with it, I will be so grateful.

He's greedy.... He'll never do that......

Anyway OP.....

We can't make a lifetime decision for you.....We can't even tell you all the details here as most people will spice it up with what they'd wish to get, if they were in shoes right now......

But, why not go to the nearest immigration office and meet some officers and have different ideas from them...Then compare it with your decision of traveling out of Nigeria...

Personally, I'll take the job....

People like the op will be envious of immigration controllers but alas he doesn't want to work towards that rank. I bet you no Nigerian will go to the USA or Canada if you give them job as an immigration controller

Nobody said your parents shouldn't work hard too. Stop trying to paint his parents bad. Pray that God should bless the work of your hand

Travelling is to leave the country. Immigration job is to immigrate to another country. So samasame!

Jokes aside, of you got a set plan to travel, take travel. Otherwise, take the job and plan your travel, it'll even be easier with your immigration job.

Traveling abroad won't make you comptroller general of immigration or give you life pension but it may give you quick money n makes you fine customer in the eyes of the men of the underworld or it may rubbish your entire career if the goals are not properly thought out. Stir your own sheep or ship

If you are certain of securing the Immigration job.. Pls go for it

If not sure then travel

I have couple of cousins in one of the paramilitary in nigeria.. Few years in the job they relocated to Europe because they were citizen by birth in one of the European country and rhey felt that place is their home... Anyway they both left the country and they not doing bad.. But to be honest... Most of their immigration mate then are close on retiring from the job and these people have extremely achieved alot...

If I was giving opportunity to join a federal force in nigeria... Not cops, or military.. But other...

I won't consider leaving my country of birth finally

Just pray about it
And seek for more advice before you make a decisions
Goodluck

OP be a real nigga like the guy above. One of the best jobs in Nigeria presently are EFCC, Custom and Immigration. Those guys make more money than some people in oil and gas.

Note: most of their deals are illegal.
