Port-Harcourt has never been a civil service town. It was the 2nd most important city in Nigeria after Lagos and one of the most beautiful cities in Africa before the Biafran war. It was so well planned and lined with well mawed lawns and trees that it was nicknamed the Garden City. The fall of Port-Harcourt came with continued high influx of people after the Civil war till the infrastructure was overstretched. Enugu is yet to experience such high influx of people. Owerri experienced it recently which led to rapid expansion but it has not been overstretched like Port-Harcourt.

Hey, I am not saying that all the whole street roads in Enugu are tarred and beautiful! Some streets still need to be worked on.

As we are looking, Enugu has been getting more beautiful right before us............ If you look far enough, you can see the areas up to UNEC Enugu.

The greenery in Enugu is in almost every corner.

By tomorrow, we will do the area around Agbani road from Amawbia bus stop, Idaw River, to Amaechi Anichukwu - Garriki end.

On the ground, Agbani road has been developing some potholes due to excessive use, but the government still works on them from time to time.......... This is the stretch of road from Amokwe bus stop to Igbariam, to Mayor.

I was in Enugu two weeks ago and left on Oct 31st, very beautiful city, though most work was done by Chime, ugwuanyi focused more in Nsukka and rural area, I love the works he is doing in Udi though.

Nobody is disputing the fact that the present government of Enugu state can't or yet to match Sullivan achievement, but denying the fact that the city looks neat and clean is something I don't understand.

I spend most of my evening at Bush Park Nza Street independent layout.

The two new estate at Enugu - PH express way is really cool and I wouldn't mind getting house there as well.

I miss Ntachi - Osa food.

It's so wrong to bring Okorocha into this while trying to paint Enugu in good light. Okorocha really moved Owerri beyond this Enugu level but he had a lot of forces including Tinubu and his fellow Igbos bent on destroying his legacy. Till date his legacies have not been completely erased and it's easy to see the true state of things through endsars street video than selective hype of few good areas.

From what I know and what I have seen about Enugu, it's the most underrated cities in Africa. What I see in this thread cannot give enough credit to what is on ground in the city. Only those who went there knows this.

Population. That small landmass supports over 30 million people and a lot more outside the region who return home to visit periodically.
