So what do you suggest we do with an under-performing people earning huge wages?

What he is saying is that it is not that easy to just sell such players. Other clubs are not stupid. Finding a club to accept to pay their wages is not that straightforward especially for our clueless management.

Sancho or nothing!!! If its not Sancho, the board is not supporting Ole apparently

Ziyech already agreed to join Chelshit in February long before the Sancho new gathered steam. It was less about Sancho and more about the propensity of our board to be slow in all things.

Chelshit signed players like Pulisic and Ziyech 6 months ahead of the season but our board prefers social media relevance and drawn out transfer hype so they can sign the player on deadline day and drag out a piano for him to play.

They're under a contract, you can perhaps help the club payoff their contract?

Or you can help them negotiate with a club to sign an under performing player that's on £250k per week.

Or you can calm down and accept players go through a bad patch.

Are you sure it was less about Sancho for some people here? I mean nobody else can improve the squad the way Sancho was destined to do according to some reports here

Martial has a contract till 2024. He's going nowhere

We were addressing larride who was not happy that we didn't look at Ziyech. You were the one who then connected it to Sancho.

What i am saying is that Sancho had nothing to do with us not signing Ziyech. By the time Chelshit signed Ziyech way back in February we were not in negotiation for Sancho and there weren't even any strong links.

We missed out on Ziyech because our board is too slow and clueless to sign players early. Woodward prefers to drag out transfer news for months and then sign players late. Hopefully with Amad Traore that will change.

Also Ziyech's strongest point which is his long range crossing from deep might be wasted in this our team in which Cavani is the only striker who has box movement.

I know who and what you're addressing na. No mind me, was having a dig at some of us here. They know themselves

I'm even confused on how our main strikers are still lacking in this with Ole as the coach.

We can't get every player and we also can't predict how a player will integrate into a new league and culture but Ziyech so far has been good.

What we should focus on now is improving the players we have now and of course improving our squad with quality acquisitions going forward.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 11:04am On Nov 08, 2020
Afrodoc2 have you heard anything about Greenwood? He wasn’t included in the last matchday squad and was omitted by Southgate after he had a talk with OGS.

Is it injury or discipline? Cos he played the UCL game and suddenly he’s being frozen out.

E go pain me if this boy doesn’t reach his potential o.

Yup

We need the team to try more crosses. This means more players arriving in the box instead of hanging around outside the box waiting for short passes. It doesn't even always have to be the full backs doing the crosses all of the time. Our attackers are getting too predictable trying to force those silly quick passes around the opponent box with their laughable poor movements

Exactly.

Im still a bit surprised at how Ziyech is settling down in the EPL. I thought he wasn’t strong enough for the league physically and mentally.

So, far he is proving me wrong. However, everybody looks good when their team is playing well. The real test will come when they hit a rough patch.

He’s been impressive so far.

First of all even though Amaka's movement was good as a striker he was no Cavani. After yesterday/s game Michael Owen said Cavani had the best box movement he had seen in recent football. Players with lots of skill or lots of pace rarely develop such movement when they are young because they never needed it.

If you check the list of player with such movement you get Ruud, Inzaghi, Fowler, Crespo e.t.c None is similar to Rashford or Martial. I think Greenwood being younger and a more natural striker than those two has the best chance of learning from Cavani.

True, we need to get them out of the club somehow. Even if it means paying part of their wage for a stipulated time or we just cancel their contract. It's so annoying watching Pogba, Martial, Rashford and others play rubbish every match day while still cashing out big every week. We watch Vardy, Kane, Son, Sallah, Mane, Jota to name but a few on probably lesser wage putting in consistent performance for their clubs...

If you cancel a contract you still have to pay all the wages for the rest of the contract so it sorta defeats the purpose.

Bruno’s first goal shows an intelligence that he hasn’t displayed before.

Look at how he saw the space in front of him, anticipated the cross falling in between the two defenders and then attacking it appropriately.

It’s the same ish with the second goal. Rashford also attacked the space between the two CBs, just that Bruno’s cross wasn’t very accurate and ended in the back of the net.

If Rashford had connected it would’ve been 3 headed goals in 2 games- which is a massive improvement from the last 100 games or so. The attackers need to make the right movements in the box and the crosses have to be accurate.

What changed between then and now? The arrival of Cavani. And maybe Telles. Those dudes are really learning from him, I think.

P.S: Luke Shaw has had 2 assists in his last 2 games. Both headers. Was still shitty for large parts of both games tho.

Bad patch for how long now, we have been calming down with the likes of Martial serving us shit for 5 plus years. The club should cancel his contract make him piss off, we don't need lazy, unserous players in the team abeg. How much Bayern pay Lewandowski per week sef?

Jadon has always been justified by his stats

It's because of his stats Dortmund raised his asking price Astronomically.

If he doesn't keep up his stats this season

Dortmund can't sell him any higher, no more how well he plays in a game, you get?

We have a dummmmb coach and inconsistent players

For the last 3 games now rashford has been headless
The only consistent players we have this season are Bruno, de gae and Fred(when he plays as a box to box midfielder)
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by KingAlabi: 11:38am On Nov 08, 2020
Won't we be better off with Cavani and telles in our starting lineup

I no wan use eye see martial again oh

An attack of in form rashford Cavani Greenwood with Bruno behind them and a certain telles whipping in crosses will be deadly.

PS Bruno is our highest goal scorer and also high assister in all competitions this season for fvck sake angry

Rashford and Martial are not too old to learn something na. If much emphasis is placed on it and time invested in that skill, they should pick it up faster than we think. It doesn't have to be perfect, just much better than what they currently have
