I know this topic would rile some people up.

One has to admit that what anambra has achieved hust in years is unprecedented.

Hedging on the messed up war..anambra seems to bounce back with a force that cannot be reckoned with.

Following its financial and private investment stride..the state seems to be catching up with the former capital of Nigeria, Lagos

Anambra has maintained the top 10 position in finance, education, infrastructure and private investment.

Lagos on the other hand has been on a steady decline over the years which has somewhat heartbreaking

Some few pix of anambra

Op,be sincere.

Igbo.people with their envy and hatred mentality....why did op brought out lagos state? Why not kano or Akwa Ibom state....?
An average Igbo person is filled with PHD (Pull Him Down )syndrome....
If.you are big, you are big....stop comparing....this is an act of debasement on your side....looking for general acceptability of your erroruous consensus....leave lagos.
Just want to ask you a question...I haven't seen South Africa, China, Canada, or Sweden comparing it's with Nigeria....this This is an inferiority complex...with all the blood-money and ill-gotten wealth you use to build skyscrapers in Anambra state, you haven't satisfied with it. ....you are still comparing your shitole State with Lagos State..

I dare all these Nyamiri people to leave Lagos to Their different state....they can't survive it....even if you actualise your. The Biafraudn Republic....without.Niger-delta, you can survive it...

Attack the message and not the messenger .
He might have compared Anambra with lagos because lagos is an over hyped mega city. Abuja is not neither is kano

Op na wa to you oh. In the next 100 years Anambra won't catch up with Lagos not until your brothers stop developing the said Lagos. You knew this but just want to stir up argument. Continue.

Their joy and wish is to see Lagos decline while they develop. They can't bear to succeed while others also do same. They are jokers.

I was having a conversation with one omo ibo, this guy said everywhere in Lagos that YORUBAs live is very dirty, the only neat places in Lagos are where ibos live.

Bro, the hatred these lots have for YORUBAs is real. I pity those Omo ale that welcome outsiders with open hands calling them their brothers. Fashola, ambode put them in their place, deported them during their tenures. It's Sanwo-olu that's deceiving them, calling them Lagosians because of Tinubu's presidential ambition..

Las Las, everybody go answer their papa name for this country.

The OP is just an hypocrite, His very first sentence on this thread is "I know this topic would rile some people up" and Lagos is on a steady decline....
grin Yet he started shouting nobody is mentioning tribe and hate when he got a befitting reply.
Who were you expecting to rile up? The Chinese or Americans The guy is dishonest with a very short attention span. Lol.

You igbos, particularly those of you from Anambra, should check yourselves. Your hubris will keep dragging you back in life. I repeat, Lagos no be una mate. If una dey develop, that's fine and well, but keep Lagos out of your mouth coz una no reach. Stay on your local lane and develop at your pace without running down Lagos.

but Igbos own most of these buildings and properties you are showing in Lagos, so why should we keep Lagos out of our mouths

In all honesty, op should just promote anambra without attaching Lagos.

Smh. Are you not ashamed of yourself for saying that? Look, you can't give what you don't have. If igbos had the capacity to 'own' and develop the quality of infrastructure and real estate in Lagos, what's stopping them from replicating such in atleast one SE state? You people and your delusion of grandeur.

Guy, Lagos is already in Yorubaland. If Yorubas choose to concentrate all their best efforts on that one state in their region, it should be no concern of yours. What you ought to be concerned about is the fact that up till today, no single state in your entire region can remotely come close to Lagos in any shape or form. Igbos should come together/pull their resources and also develop atleast one state to Lagos level if truly na una develop Lagos.

Although Lagos State is still shabby ( Mushin, Bariga, dopemu, Ajegunle, Ketu, Agiliti etc), no state in Nigeria comes close...

Anambra is in the league of Rivers for now

And Lagos State last sensible governor was Ambode. This one there is a clown.... When Lagos gets another technocrat governor, you'd see what it is...

Eko o ni baje

This one does not even know the meaning of technocrat. Is Ambode a technocrat? Definitely NO. Go to Wikipedia and compare Ambode or any other governor’s CV to Sanwo-Olu’s CV,

Clown

Yoruba concentrated what where? grin

Lagos got where it is on the concentrated attention of the country on it as a capital territory, igbos being the major contributor, just few years that igbo started heeding the calls to bring things home the difference is already widely felt in the east

If lagos was left for yoruba people it will be on the same level or far worse than ibadan today

Dont be delusional

the answer to your question is simple, business, we are business minded people and we invest in where we can make money, onyeama made money to start an airline, from the investment he made in leki real estate, we are business people and the whole world is our market, you don't set up a business in your house and expect strangers to troop into your home to patronize you, you take the business to their doorstep and that's what we Igbos are doing all over Nigeria, simple, we don't lack a home to sleep in when we go home

That's the kind of ignorant, megalomaniac and ignorantly bragaddocious staement they make that just defies logic.

Igbos came to the SW to be welcomed with the opportunity to better themselves and all they are obsessed with is demeaning their host with lies and outright fabrication as if they all came on a vendetta mission.

I pity omo ale Yorubas too who don't realise the malevolence a lot of Igbos have in their hearts for Yorubas. Take this OP for example. Why can't he celebrate Anambra without trying to shade Lagos that is literally 200 years ahead of all SE States put together? Even Abuja is nothing next to Lagos talk less of Anambra.
