It is no excuse from dropping a simple apology. If you are so courteous, that is the first thing you would do. Alot of people called you out in a none abusive manner but you use one harsh reply as an excuse not to do the right thing.

It was in that moment of absolute silence that Theresa slightly shift her gaze to George, over the years she had notice the way George looks and tends to hold her in every given opportunity, offering her the kind of look that speaks he's interested in her.., she had always knew this but finds every way to ignore it, after the dead of her fiance, all she's been bend on is revenge.., to captured the man that had killed him.., it was just 3months to her marriage.., she wasn't herself when he died, She remenber the sad days and brood over the hours George spends with her.., she guess that's where it started from., that's probably when he started garnering feelings for her.....

"How could you all have let this happen..?"Major Lafera chimes into her thought, his voice snapping everyone from the high tension in the air..

Theresa heaved a deep sigh as Major Lafera eyes moved from her to George and finally settling on Roy...

"We arrived late major.."Roy replied...

Jadan had a way of walking that made him seem perpetually in a hurry. His steps weren't long but they were rapid. Like a speed-walker without that odd twisting motion they make, once again the visions of trying to see his face came like flashes in his head.., he ignored the thought and trot on all the while imagining what the chief will do to him when he hears they lost his money again, this time to an unknown person...

He slowed his pace when he opened the door to him sitting about pouring himself a glass of the wine he always take...

Jadan suck in heavily before adjusting his jacket, he almost frown when he saw the little blood stain on it..

"Did you get my money...?"Chief Carlos ask after pouring the wine in the glass..., he walked over to the ice machine and handpicked broken ice and dropped them in the glass...

Jadan took a deep breathe and step closer, he look around to be sure chief Carlos wasn't in any way close to his gun, he has seen people been shot on the spot when they report bad news....

"We weren't able to chief.."Jadan said in a low tone..

Chief Carlos stilled to dilute the words before he took the chilled glass of wine to his mouth..

"Madam Sansa is dead.."Jadan stated

Chief Carlos wasn't shocked, it was as if he expected nothing else...
"Who killed her..?"Carlos ask dropping the glass..

"I'm not sure.."Jadan replied gaining more confidence....."But I think whoever did took the money.."

"All hope is not lost yet..."Jadan stated shapily..

"I couldn't get a clear visual of the boy with her during the shootout with her men, but we happen to get her right hand man..Jerome.."

"Is Jerome with my money..?"Carlos ask

"He isn't..."Jadan replied taking a step further.. "When we saw Sansa's body, she was strangled.., only the boy with her could have done that and Jerome happens to know this boy very well..., Jerome will help us identify him.."

"Then where is Jerome..?"

Jadan took a deep breathe before the words leap out from his mouth...."He slipped into a coma while we were torturing him..."

Chief Carlos pick up the glass once more and Jadan noticed the disappointment in his eyes......

"When is he getting out from coma...?"he ask before taking the glass to his mouth..

Jadan nibbed.."No idea for now..."

"No idea..!"Carlos reiterated...."Are you saying I wait till this Jerome wakes up..?"

"That's our only option for now chief...."

"Option my foot.."Carlos latched out smashing the glass on the wall.., as the words fell out from his mouth so did the broken pieces of the glass..., all clattering on the floor...

Cold chills rain down Jadan spines but he kept his composure....

"I want my money.."Carlos chided

"And you'll get it chief.."Jadan said.."The team doctors are doing everything they can to bring him back to life.., when they succeed..., we'll get that bastard.."

Anita woke up suddenly, her eyes widely open she took in more rays of light and without a doubt she knew she had slept for too long..., she quietly grimace when her heart began pounding.., her mind totally empty, It's as if a hypodermic of adrenaline has been emptied into her carotid, she strain into the bright light from the door as her breathing rate begin to steady....

She slipped from the bed and quickly realise how futile it was when she tried to get up, a sharp pain jolt through her body putting all thoughts on high definition, noises from far and near came in full swing.., her eyes close only to be reopen a second later...., she look around totally oblivious of where she is, she stood to her feet and look at her hands, touched her hair before she moved her eyes around the room......, memories of past events began to come like flashes in her head, each coming with a thud in her head.., another wave of pains jolted through her body and she screamed..., her screamed echoe around the walls of the building..

"Anita...."Rachel's voice came from the door..

Anita turn to face her with the alertness of the voice..., all of a sudden, she ran to a corner in attempts to hide from the intruder....

"Anita..."Rachel called again before entering the room.

Anita shivered, her mouth shook sporadically before words find their way from her mouth..."Who..."She said trying to form the words but what came out was engulfed in stutters..."Who.., who are you?"

"Look Anita there is no time.."Rachel said stepping closer, when Anita shivered, she took a pause before she hold her hand...."You don't need to be scared of me, I'm here to help you..."

Anita tried to get away from her but Rachel grip on her was too strong...

"Listen to me..."Rachel continued.. "Some bad people wants to make you mad .., no matter what they say to you, do not take the red pills..... , I repeat, do not take the red pills.."

Anita couldn't ask any questions before Rachel dashed out of the room in a hurry leaving Anita to her headaches and overbearing thoughts......

She crunched down with pants breathe but quickly get up again when another person walked into the room..., Her head spin as she try to fathom what could possibly be going on...

"Hey sweetie..."Andrew said with a tray of a white and red pills...., he stood to look at the room and quickly sniffle at the awful stench.."You need a bath, you smell real bad.., come here, come take your drugs.."

Anita lean her body on the wall as different thoughts began to rumble in her head...., she quickly remenber what Rachel had said to her and quickly she shook her head..

Andrew exhale.."Come on, don't make me force you...."

Bad people want her mad.., once again she look around as Rachel's words ring in her head, she have question and there's no way she'll get answers from the man standing in front of her.., she wonder how long she's been locked up, be held in such a stinky room, how long she's been insane.

"Don't make me repeat myself.."Andrew said again drawing closer to her ....

As Rachel words echoe in Anita's head again, she drew closer to him, her eyes peered at the red pills reminding her of Rachel's warning.........

"Open your mouth..."Andrew said taking the tray closer to her....

Anita shook her head and took a step backwards....

"I don't have all day.."Andrew said.. "Do you want me to call security so they can force the drugs down your throat....."

Anita shivered and quickly without been told the second time, she packed both the red and white pills and threw them in her mouth........

"Take this..."Andrew said handling her a bottle of water...

For a moment, Anita hesitated, Rachel warning once again beat in her head, she took the water from him and drank a bit of it..

"Yeah..."Andrew said licking his lips as he drool over her..."That's more like it...."

Anita quickly took her gaze away and once again crunched down beside the wall...

"I can't wait to see you naķed..."Andrew said..."I will be back for your bath..."He added before leaving the room....

It wasn't long before the door open, heels first before Dr Charana came into light....

"Of course..."Dr Charana said.."I told you i don't fail..."She added handling him a big envelope..

Samuel took the envelope from her, opened it and took out pictures....

"Those are pictures of everyone related to Anita...."Dr Charana said...."The first one is her brother, you must have met him.., his name is Matthew.., the second and third pictures are her youngest brother and sister, my informant says they live in the village.., and the last is her father, he's in his death bed, will probably die before nightfall.. "

"Do you trust your people..?"Samuel ask..

"Yes.."Dr Charana said...

Samuel handed the pictures back to her and walk towards a chair..."What about Susan..?"He ask sitting down...

"My informant couldn't find out anything about her..., she have no ties with her relatives, no parent, no siblings, just a boyfriend and his name is Henry..., beside that, She's a total ghost.."

Anita rushed towards the dirty toilet.., there she dip her finger deep into her throat, The nausea clawed at her throat, and she tried to force down the bile, but it was too late. Chunks of partially digested food, water and the pills she had taken earlier spewed out of her coughing, choking mouth. Her stomach kept on contracting violently and forcing everything up and out. Her face was white and dripping bile, sweat, and tears. She lurched forward and sunk to her knees. The pungent stench invaded her nostrils and she heaved even though there was nothing left to go...., she crunched down once more realising the drugs is out of her system, thoughts of past event began to flood her head, little by little she began to regain her sanity.., her friends, her siblings and everything that had happened around her....., just then the name hit her, the name of the person that has stole her story and gotten her arrested......

With heavy breathe, she mutter his name..."Samuel.."
